I want for JarJar to have a 3 charge, 1 recurring charge, whenever a ship would have a token assigned to it at range 1, you may spend 3 charge. If you do you may have the ship have a different type of token of the same color assigned to it instead.

What do you expect for Wave 9 that will surley be announced soon, since Wave 7 is on the verge to be completely released, and Wave 8 to be released in less than 2 months ?

I expect monthly releases of squadron packs, starting at end january 2021.

- I don't think we will see the clone Z-95. Repuiblic has plenty of little fighters (torrents and V-Wings)

- I do not expect to see the T-85. IMO they should have released it in the Squadron pack of the Resistance if they wanted to.

As for the sheatipede, iI think t will wait a bit. Seps just got their HMP Gunship, their trifighter and their firespray. They got a lot of love.

I agree for the First Order Bomber, the Resistance Y-Wing, and the Razor Crest. I can't wait to see the content of the squadron packs. Maybe 1 bomber and 2 tie daggers in the first order squadron pack ? Just to dream

Agreed they should have released it in the Squadron pack, instead of that second T-70. It would sell like hot cakes. Still, I have hope it will appear eventually.

FO TIE Bomber + TIE Dagger(s) would be amazing! And since we are dreaming, let me wish for a First Order squadron after that one: Kylo's TIE Whisper Interceptor + TIE Whisper(s).

They weren't likely to see more than 1 of these in a Squadron pack and I wouldn't want to spend money on 2-3 packs for one ship.

The squadron pack was to update the existing ships to reflect ep 9. It also their to be a good starter pack for new Resistance players.

Plus it includes upgrades that are not only resistance only but also exclusively X-wing only, Additionally there was one that specifically stated T-70 only. No reason to call that out if your not planning to release another X-wing class ship into the faction. Likely sooner rather than later.

I do hope that squadron packs for other factions will be new ships but I worry about the precedent of the Resistance pack. That could have been all new ships (maybe T-85 plus new Y-wing). I worry that existing factions won't get new ships in the squadron packs, only new stuff for existing ships.

Which is kind of annoying, because that could go in a cardboard-only pack almost as easily. That said, new paintjobs are certainly welcome.

At least, it didn't need to be 3 ships in the squadron pack. Two would be enough. (anyway, since I can't paint, I'm a sucker for repaints and can't promise I won't buy both the Imperial and Rebels Squadron Packs)

Generally, I disagree that the new ships should be in the squad packs. That makes them hard to get as they are behind a price nature barrier thanks to being saddled with other ships you may not want or need. Better to get the new stuff in blister first.

Now that said, I do think that the squad packs are a good place to do very low demand repacks, and maybe something unique along the way. Like a good possible 'Spectre' squad pack for me might look like Sabines TIE/Attack Shuttle/Prototype B-wing or something like that. (So that Pheonix is appropriately A/A/Y). So that you can just pick up all those weird one offs in one cute little basket.

If anything the current precedent of the Resistance box sets these up to be starter boxes, which means they will mostly include basic but interesting staples for players. Like sky-strike academy will be two Interceptors and a advanced or something.

Whatever they do, I'd be okay with each year getting like two Squad boxes and a small wave. The game it's inflating very rapidly and I don't want to see them over expand like 1e did in it's final days.

That's fair.

I would hope that any new ships are also available separately, like they did with some of the ships from the first set of squadron packs. But then again, why do we still not have separately available b-22 or v-19?

Of course even with the Vulture and the Jedi fighter, we still had cards that were exclusive to one package or the other, so that doesn't quite fix the issue either.

My guess would be that if you are buying into the Separatists, you'll be getting at least 1 Servants of Strife, but probably 2. That gets you 2 Beetlebops which is 1 more than most folks even consider flying. As for the Torrent, you essentially have a double Torrent expansion that gives you a bonus Delta in the pack if you consider that most expansions cost $20 and the Guardians costs $40.

The T-85 is on Vonreg's pilot card. Based on the previous patterns FFG has had with ships on pilot cards showing up later, iI feel confident that the T-85 will be one of the next two single packed ships released for the Resistance.

Heres what i think for the next wave

- FO: FO bomber. Ship ability similar to the nimble bomber, but with launching devices?? 2/2/5/2 statline?? More of a focus on torpedos as opposed to missiles??

- Resistance: Y-wing. Comes with a built in turret, but ship ability that limits it to not front arc. 2 (primary)/2 (single turret)/1/6/3 statline??

- Empire: Tie/ph Phantom re-release. Comes with 1-2 new named pilots.
- Rebel: U-wing release. Maybe in the form of a saws renegades black box (no ffg we haven't forgotten about that).
- Republic: Clone Z-95. See other thread about what that looks like. Something like a 3/2/2/3

- Separatist: Rouge class starfighter. With cad-bane crew and pilot. Magna guard pilot (three pip limited) that synergies with grievous. 3/3/4/3 stat-line too good? Should Be the ‘elite’ starfighter class for the CIS

- Scum: Rerelease of aggressor?? Or lancer pursuit craft? We wont get the razor crest till after season 2. So there wouldn't be enough time for development.

Was that confirmed somewhere, or is this just intuition? Just curious. Razor Crest felt like a guarantee for the next scum release after Mando wrapped up it's first season, so I'm actually surprised that it hasn't popped up yet.

No, this is just intuition. I think that they will wait to get more pilots, crew, and general information about the craft before releasing it. This is a pretty big ‘hero’ ship and as such its important that they get the stats/pilots/crew right. Also, with season 2 dropping this November (I think??), they will already be releasing it after, so they might as well include the new things from season two.

Yeah. I think they'd be silly not to capitalise on the Razor Crest ASAP. I can understand it not being around for Season 1 due to spoilers, but there should be enough to work with now, right?

Here's hoping that the next article that announces the next 'wave' has the Razor Crest as part of it. I'd gladly accept it as a TIE Brute scenario where it's attached to another wave. That being said they may not have stuff from season 2 due to design pipeline, but who knows?

Don't forget though, their development cycle is like two years or so. And they don't always get early access to content to start product design early. They did with TFA, but not the later movies as I recall. So the razor crest they may have been shown around the same time we were, so from that date, even on a rush job, it might take awhile.

The TLJ stuff didn't make it to Force Friday, or the movie release, but they were released close enough that they had early access. Probably why the Silencer was as big as it was.

True, I should have included it as well. They probably only had a design brief with sketchy details for TLJ.

My guess is pretty quick here! Mid November would make the most sense, but they may announce it after the TIE/rb wave.
