Spec/Talent Sheets

Ah, dang. Would be really handy to be able to ctrl-F!

**** this looks great!

Will the "Force Powers" also be available?

Good job, RLouge!

Probably just got corrupted or something when I downloaded it.

In other news, when I try to search the compressed PDFs, it doesn't work. Are they just images? Or can you guys search for text?

They're just images in a PDF container. That's part of why they are so large in size.

I don't suppose anyone has any OCR software they could use to generate the text? I'm not sure how much it will increase the document size, gut says "not by much."

These are really great! Thanks for taking up the sword.

To my eye, the character spacing of the Skills list could be adjusted. For example, the Consular Healer list is:

Discipline, Knowledge - Education, Knowledge - Xenology, Medicine

For my brain, it reads like "Discipline, Knowledge" "Education, Knowledge" "Xenology, Medicine"

Maybe it's just me? Perhaps a larger dash with less space between the dash and the words?

Also, is it possible to add the full Career skills to each sheet as well as the Spec Skills?

Thank you.

Dunno about the spacing. The font I used for that bit is Tw Cen MT Condensed. There is only a single space bar space inbetween the letters and the hyphens there.

I might consider changing the format to "Knowledge: Education" instead. I did not want to use "Knowledge (Education)" because that is in the same format as something like "make a Lightsaber (Agility) check..." and I feel like, aesthetically, it should be different.

The career career skills will be on the signature ability sheets. Like Doc had them on his sheets. I considered putting them on the spec sheets, like in the books, but it made for too much clutter.

Colon might look nice. Or an em dash with no spaces.

Knowledge—Education vs. Knowledge - Education

The spaces and short dash put so much distance between words, they look separated.

I see what you mean about Career Skills. Though my players always write them on their sheets by hand since they don't have Signature Abilities yet, so it's cluttered no matter what.

So, I'm settling in to my new, somewhat temporary, area of the country (Butler, PA), and after dealing with some issues I am back at work on this project.

The Signature Abilities are done and added to the files. I'll begin working on the Force powers tonight. The Soldier book has been pre-ordered from Miniature Market, and those bits will be added as soon as I receive my copy.

Once again, the files are in my dropbox of goodies linked in my signature below. But here are some direct links to them...

Enjoy. Please point out any errors. I will likely make an alternate set sooner or later with the more traditional red and blue colors that many of you would prefer, but I want to put the Force powers in the can first.

I noticed that at least some of the specializations and career names are in reverse order in the EotE set. Was this intentional?

Which ones? I put the specs in alphabetical order in each career.

Has anyone the possibility to make the Talent Trees fillable so that you can cross out the Talents in the pdf?

I know it is possible with Adobe Acrobat, but I don't have it anymore...

Which ones? I put the specs in alphabetical order in each career.

From what I recall, you listed Spec first, then Career. So it was “Assassin - Bounty Hunter” instead of “Bounty Hunter - Assassin”.

The latter would sort Specs alphabetically after the Career, while the former would sort the Career alphabetically after the Spec.

They're grouped by career, and alphabetically within each career grouping. Same way as I had it before. Do you see something out of place?

And here we have all of the Force powers. Fourteen powers, including Warde's Foresight from Chronicles of the Gatekeeper.

That's everything until I get my copy of Forged in Battle in a few days.

I just noticed that the Slicer talent tree isn't correct, three of the top row talents are joined to the lower tier when they shouldn't be. also the Defensive Slicing (10xp) and Natural Programer (15xp) in the left hand column should not have side links from them either. Its in both the instances of Slicer too, from Edge and Age. thanks for your awesome work, very helpful.

I shall fix that (likely tomorrow) and upload the correction. Thanks, fellow Rich!

The ones I’ve printed so far look good to me.

Do we have an updated list of all the latest sheets?

Here are links to the latest versions.

Force Powers sheets: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kj0nw8z1ajl2gsc/Force%20Powers.pdf?dl=0

I am working on changing the colors to the more traditional red and blue for those who have asked for that. Those to follow soon.

Ooh! And these are very nicely compressed, too!

Instead of ~100MB in size, they’re now down to 3~10MB in size, and even smaller than the compressed versions I had previously created for you.

Nice!

Has anyone the possibility to make the Talent Trees fillable so that you can cross out the Talents in the pdf?

I know it is possible with Adobe Acrobat, but I don't have it anymore...

I'm sure a fair few of us can do that.

Typo found: Stalker adds a boost to Stealth and Coordination checks, not Stealth and Coercion checks.

Stalking giving a bonus to Coercion checks . . . that's a lead-in to some nasty jokes. Better not start following up on that.

LoL Thanks! I'll get that fixed this weekend hopefully.
