This is 2 DoF, right ? So you suffer 2 Fatigue and feel tired and weakened.

STrange...usually you are able to drink much more before such effects happen...

I'm not terribly surprised that someone went through my stuff. Luckily I didn't bring anything incriminating. I do a brief scan to make sure everything is as it should be, and then place my pistol, sword and a frag beneath the pillow, and then head out to alert the others with a casual written note, remembering Reginald's earlier reprimand. I just tell them to be careful with what they leave around.

As I walk back to my bed my head starts spinning and wheeling, and I crash to the floor and fall asleep right there. As I drift off I think "It's always the salt"
[Rolled 99 on the toughness test, so 5 degrees of failure]

(Glad to see my typical player luck is still in effect. This is why I GM :D )

//Also, rolled for how long I'm out, D10-TB
//Total was: 2 minutes
//zzzzzzzzzzz

[as a comment on this. This seems really too less for someone who was knocked out totally wasted; once again I really ask the devs to bring Beta1's fatigue back...]

(moved to Outplay)

your dazed self is not really sure, but you might have heared some subtle noise outside your rooms.

As others are trying to get some sleep, Teagan is shuffling through paperwork and reflecting on the events of the evening. He turns to his comrades that might be sleeping or not and asks a question to the others as well as to himself, "Did anyone notice that badge that the Viceroy was wearing?"

As Angevin seems to sleep already and Camyll seemed a little sleepy, you decided to visit Reginald in his room.

Asleep facedown on the floor!

Asleep facedown on the floor!

ANgevin is known for his rather unusual sleeping habbits after he drank too much.

Rolled an 84, for 6 DoF.

Reginald makes his way to Angevin's room to get a report on anything he found during the party. He sees Angevin slump to the floor, muttering about wine. Reginald angrily sighs and begins writing out a formal reprimand before the wine suddenly takes him and he slumps over on top of Angevin.

"Those **** provincials" -Camyll thinks in shock.

Wakes up to pick his las pistol and scans the outside of the room in search of anything could suppose a threat.

[Roll against 50 Awareness + 20 of the Augur Array. Roll 36]

Camyll and Teagan meet at the door of Angevins room on the search for Reginald.

They see both piled up and sleeping...you wouldnt have guessed that they have such a...close relationship.

Indeed...you are rather alarmed by it. On the other side of the corridor, where some stairs go down, you can clearly here footsteps now. Several persons.

Reginald awakens very quickly (Rolled a 2 for the d10-3Tb minutes he was passed out) and sees Camyll and Teagan at the door. He looks down to see that he is on top of Angevin. He attempts to quickly get off of him, but he is still groggy and uneasy on his feet.

"The...the wine...." Reginald mumbles.

Reginald picks up the reprimand form he was filling out, and absent-mindedly completes it. He drops it on the still unconscious Angevin and begins stumbling forward, attempting to leave the room.

The steps come closer - you can now see 6 men coming up the stairs.

The fact that they wear green masks, black robes and carry swords in their hands doesnt really give hints on a friendly intention.

They start to run as they realize you saw them, straight towrds you (they are about 20m away for the moment)

TIME FOR SOME INITIATIVE ROLLS !

Edited by GauntZero

Reginald stumbles forward, seeing the men charging him. His eyes widen, but his vision is still blurry. The wine is heavy in his stomach.

Reginald rolled a 1 + 3AgB for an Initiative of 4

Angevin will wake up after the first turn, and will be confused in the second turn (get only reactions).

They rolled a 9 (all using the same Init to keep it more simple) and get 9+3 = 12 INIT.

After hearing the footsteps, Teagan runs to his bag and withdraws a fully loaded shotgun (his stub automatic is in a concealed holster on his left side). Intiative: rolls a 3 + 3 AB = 6

If I spend a Fatepoint to remove all fatigue, will I wake up instantly?

If I spend a Fatepoint to remove all fatigue, will I wake up instantly?

You would

In the midst of my troubled dreams a golden figure gently approaches and orders me to wake up [1 Fate point spent to remove fatigue]

My eyes snap open, head totally clear in an instant, and I hear the unmistakable sound of men running.

Something pushes me to my feet in an instant [1 Fate spent on 10 initiative, for a total of 14]

My turn is essentially leaping onto my bed, and snapping up my pistol, sword and frag belt.

(now I'll be gone for a while, so I hope it takes you guys a long time to get through round one :P )

Edit: Totally forgot my home world ability lets me get fate points back.
[Rolls: 6, 1] So one back, sweet.

First thought running to Camyll's mind.

"SHITIHAVENOARMOUR"

Looks around looking for a place to take cover.

[Roll 3 + 3 = Initiative 6]

The robed figures with the txoic green masks run towards you in disturbing silence.

They are now about 10m from you and have drawn their swords.

You can see now that their swords have a rusty appearance, yet possess something that make you feel uneasy.

[its your turn now.]

- Teagan / Camyll

- Reginald

Round2:

- Angevin

- 6 silent robed guys

Situation:

You are standing in the corridor next to the door of ANgevins room.

Behind you is the corridors dead end, on the opposing side of Angevins room lies Reginalds room, the only other room you could reach without passing the 6 robed men.

I use my first action to move into a farther room If I can, and second action to shoot one of them from the cover of the door gap.

[Roll HP, semi-auto; 02 out of a natural 40 (That's two hits, I suppose, So I'm rolling two damages) -> Dam 1 = 6+2; Dam 2 = 4+2]

If I cant, I shoot from the door of the room I am and try to close the door and lock it after that, If not, I would just walk backwards, my back agains the wall, trying to cover with any furniture, if there's anything suitable.
