Thank you. What happened with Tarrk?

Cade shrugged, Let's just say he won't be troubling the Syndicate, or your tenure as his replacement. Mind if I ask, how do you know so much about us? Not many beings know our culture enough to speak the language.

Hahaha, I've met some of your kind before, we got along well... until they were killed by the Black Sun. Relatively simple job, but it went south in a hurry. The funny thing? They were working for Black Sun at the time.

Cade cocked his head. That a threat Kesra? Cade asked in a neutral tone.

No, not at all. I'm warning you. Black Sun doesn't care. Black Sun won't let you go. Black Sun does not forgive.

You are Mando'ad, you obviously know Mando'ade, do you think that they would teach me their language, and even their code language, if they didn't trust me explicitly? They were independent mercenaries. Very professional. They had done a few jobs for us, and some jobs for the Suns. They were professional in the extreme, never spilled secrets, never discussed jobs conducted for other entities. They were on a job for the Suns, and the Suns had them eliminated.

Cade shook his head sadly.. No one understands the meaning of a contract anymore. I think that's why I don't do much bodyguard work anymore. People think they own you, that you need to prove your 'loyalty'.. Happened once to someone I know, customer broke the terms of the contract and thought this Mando'ade owed them a sign of loyalty, told them to kneel... Cade shrugged, Once the client broke the deal, my friend didn't see a problem kneecapping the arrogant hut'uun.

Cade gestured to Kesra, What happened to your Mando friends, may they rest in the manda, is why I tend to stay out of the.. drama of the gangs and syndicates.

A wise decision. I would warn you to stay vigilant and watch your step. I have no quarrel with you, and no desire to cause one.

Same. You know I can't give you details... but you should keep a low profile, or better yet, you should cash out and get out of the business. Go to some backwater and live the quiet life.

Cade turned to leave, And as a professional courtesy, I'll ignore any bounties with your name on them.

Thank you for the advice and the courtesy. I will do the best I can to reciprocate.

Cade waved good bye and walks out and retrieves the rental and drives to the agency. The return transaction was smoother than the donation, and Cade walked back to the Spaceport, thinking about Mandalorians getting back-stabbed just because they were professionals. When he returned to the ship, he called a meeting with the others and told them about his meeting with Kesra, and his warning about the other Mando'ade.

Kara smiled and winked at Cade. Aww, you told him my kneecapping story, thats sweet of you. You must really like him.. Shale I call and arrange a playdate?

Cade gives her a side eyed look, Seriously though, we should be careful, especially in a war.

Falmok nodded, Agreed. Caution in war is always a wise decision, especially in this case, there seems to be more factions ever day.

Kara's tone turned somber, Just look at Mando'ade, after the last war over Mandal'yaim, how many splinter factions do we have now?

Darien nodded. Last I've heard, there might be as many as five large organized factions. About a dozen or so independent Clans still doing contract work in the open.. who knows who is in hiding and waiting..

Well, something to keep in mind. Are you ready to contact Green, see what he's got to say?

Absolutely, Kara said. Let's upload these chakaare.

After being put on hold, again, for what seemed like an interminably long time, Green finally answered, Well, my favorite Mandos, what can I do for you?

Green, we have Dax Tarrk, plus a couple of bonus bounties. We also have a couple of encrypted datapads to offer the client.

Oh! Already. That's impressive. Who are the bonus bounties? Who posted the bounties? I'll contact the client, he'll probably be very interested in those datapads. I'm sure there'll be a bonus in it for you.

We have a Dref, sending you the board info. And a Quom, Dex Tarrk's supposed accountant, possible errand boy. Plus a goon, not sure if he's listed, but we needed him out of the game until we got Dax.

Hmm... Give me a sec. He puts you back on hold and then a few minutes later comes back, Go ahead and turn the goons over to local law enforcement, they only have local bounties (if they have any), but I can't find anything on Quom, nor can I triangulate his identity, if that isn't his name, by going through a list of known associates of Tarrk. The man who posted the bounty will probably want all he can get on their organization, so better to take him somewhere where the information will be put to good use. I'll send a representative to pick up Tarrk, Quom, and the datapads and deliver your payment. He should be there in a day or so. Do you want to be paid in cash, or in an electronic transfer?

Cash is always preferable. We'll unload our local boys and wait on your people to collect for the client.

Roger that! Anything else?

That should be everything.

Good. Over 'n out!

Cade and Falmok took Dref and the other goon to the local law enforcement department to collect the bounty on Dref plus whatever they have on the second goon.

As Cade and Falmok walk into the Department, the officer at the counter looks at them and then the two goons. Dropping off?

Cade nodded, And hopefully collecting, he patted Dref on the back, making him flinch. This is Dref, we saw he had a local bounty listed, and his friend, we aren't sure of, or if he has a bounty. We figured we would bring him along incase you had anything on him..
