@EliasWindrider , @Bellona

I apologize for that, I did a test roll just to make sure I did it right, then got out of control as it was kind of fun to see the results.

Since I cant prove this, I'll accept whatever decision you make for those extra rolls, either they all count or I'll make one roll when told to do so, so there isn't any question about it.

I'll make sure this won't happen again.

(I'll only use physical dice from now on for my experiment roftlls)

@EliasWindrider , I'll PM you an email at some point for any pdf you are able to send..I currently only have the FaD core in the FaD book line. :(

Make 1 roll now. Note, it is ok for you to spam crafting a lightsaber hilt since it would have happened to before the campaign started. But you post all the rolls and number them in here, I'd kind of expect you to keep the current best hilt as you went along and recycle the previous best hilt at each step so you end up with the last one and the best prior to the last one. If you stop after getting the desired result, you'll end up with 2 good hilts, if you give up after a while then you'll end up with 1 good hilt and whatever random thing you stopped on. And the cost for a basic lightsabers is 50 extra credits.

I wrote a matlab crafting program to generate a percentile table to roll against to determine how long it would take to get the desired result, along with what exactly you ended up with.... I could dust it off and if desired put a number of attempts limit where you stop with the best to date when you hit the limit or the desired result whichever comes first.

Also for the protective amulet... all you really care about is getting success with no darkside pips.

Jorin amulet: Amulet attempt. : 2eA+2eP+2eF+1eD 6 successes, 1 Triumph, 4 Light Side

If you type "test" into the "campaign" slot, it won't save the roll, and it also won't erase the dice pool you wrote up. That way, you can type in something like 2eP+1eA+2eB+1eC+1eD+1eS+3eF and roll them, then re-roll them without having to type them back in. It won't save the roll in your history or give you bbcode.

I just came across this post, is this what I need for Lightsaber crafting? (is this complete?)

It looks right to me.

Going for a standard lightsabre hilt?

looks like accurate and defense have a -1 to damage, am I reading that correctly?

My plan so far is to make a hilt, ad Extended and Curved with Superior mod. (would the Artisan +2hp to an item count for lightsaber hilts?)

@EliasWindrider would be the one to ask.

(I'm not an attachment expert.)

Ok, lets try this.. Jorin Forging his lightsaber: (Standard Hilt)

lightsaber roll 1 : 1eA+2eP+1eD 3 successes, 2 threat
a--.png p-s.png p-s-s.png d-th-th.png

lightsaber roll 2 (Reforge) : 1eA+2eP+1eD 2 successes, 2 advantage
a-s-a.png p-s-a.png p-s-a.png d-f-th.png

With Jorin's Lightsaber Maintenance kit; add 1 Advantage for a total of 3 Advantage. I'll spend that on Customization: +1 Hard Point. (Total cost should be 150 credits. I'll annotate on SWs.)

I would also like to Add Extended Hilt and Superior Hilt mods if I'm able.

Don't forget to expand the sub headings for templates and "integration" (crafting upgrades) also secrets of the jedi with at least 1 rank in knowledge lore decreases the difficulty for a standard lightsaber hilt from 2 purple to 1 purpke

Yes. That's the primary intent, but I'm going to make a GM call and say you can't have the nonsensical combination of extended (2 hands) and curved (1 hand)

@EliasWindrider

Btw the most desirable/ beneficial upgrades are personalized design and fine tuned emitter because together they are effectively superior but stack with superior. We are using a house rule on cross guards... you rolling a triumph on attacks doesn't disarm them, but you can spend their despair on attacks they make against you to disarm them.

If you pay for them it's ok.

Oh.

Ummm.. I guess it's too late to go with Personalized instead, lol.

(I gotta look that combo up)

No I'll let you take personalized design instead of the extra hp. But having +2 damage and +2 advantage is huge, it could be enough to trigger a crit, or activate an item quality such as concussive 2 from a dragite gem.

Does this 'sabre already have the bonus +1 hard point from being constructed in-Temple? (Or has that bonus already been used on some other equipment?)

It's not because it was crafted in temple... it's have an jedi artisan add 2 hardpounts each to 2 items... which admittedly usually happens in temple but it's just because that's where the artisan is most likely to be. And to the best of my knowledge that's the first item he's used it on.

@RuusMarev what's Jorin' moral strength and weakness? Record morality of 50 on your sheet. I need a campaign spanning character growth story arc from you.

@ShockHelix did I ever get a campaign spanning character growth story arc from you?

I believe so, yes. The general idea I think was to increase in rank over time as he demonstrates his abilities to be a commander, while having him slowly get more and more fed up with the war as other clones die around him.

Making a few XP purchases before we get into the next battle. Looking at a 2nd rank of High-G Training (10 xp), Tricky Target (15), and a 2nd rank of Fire Support (5 XP)

Also restocking Balyeg, and trading some things out.

Titan: Dropping the Scattergun for the DC-15A.

Boomstick: Dropping the Frag Grenades and Demolition Charges and picking up 3 Ion Grenades.

Bullseye: Dropping the Marksman Rifle

O-3: Dropping the Flamethrower

That mostly equalizes them all with the DC-15A. Should help me keep track better since the only other attack they can make now is with Ion Grenades.

One final question, @EliasWindrider , do we get any additional credits to spend on personal 'requisition' after the last mission, and if not, how would we handle gear change requests for the main characters?

To give a more specific example, I'm thinking about switching the Ion Blaster Condor is currently using (3700 credits) and crafting a missile launcher and some missiles in case they come up against something like an AAT. The missiles themselves are only 100 credits each, and if I can get the efficient construction on the base Missile Launcher, I could probably do a crafting block to make it work with the 4100 credits that I'd have if I traded in the Ion Blaster.

@ShockHelix @Bellona @MrTInce @P-47 Thunderbolt @RuusMarev

Regarding the reveal hidden contents question.

There is a different between a session and a "mission." Next credits are at the end of the christophsis mission which started with breaking the blockade. Restocking ammo like ion grenades you don't have to pay for.

If there is something else you want let me know and you may be able to just requisition it. There's a lot of standard gear clones can get for free as needed

Sorry, didn't intend to put the last bit in spoilers. Forgot that it grabs everything after the tag into it as well.

I don't really have anything in particular in mind, was just looking for something that might have some effectiveness against an AAT or other separatist vehicles, and the launcher from RotS was like 8k credits and the one in GaG was like 7500.

I think there's a grenade similar to a thermal detonator in terms of damage and breach 2, but without the short range blast radius. You could grab a few of those. I might have been remembering these

Those look interesting!

I've been wondering what's the best method of blowing up a bridge in a sabotage action (as opposed to just firing at it from a starship or other large vehicle). I'm even considering a baradium charge.

Narrative is the best method 😎 , being issued "demolitions" with suitable encumbrance

Btw the grenades are weapons rather than demolitions, grenades need stats for making attacks, demolitions need encumbrance and maybe price and rarity if you're trying to buy them.
