I do too. I really thought something would have been at Comic con, but I guess they didn't want anything to overshadow the whole #CloneWarsSaved thing.

I think it might be more like they did want Clone Wars to overshadow it, haha. I think we will hopefully see a trailer here sometime later August or early September to boost awareness for the show when it drops in October.
Something else; seems polygon pictures is working on this - they previously did Clone Wars

Seems the green guy shown earlier is a Green Nikto.
also, looks like the old r-41 starchaser is made canon.
Seems the racing plot is because the main character is assigned to a station known for racing, where he has to root out First Order spies.
The animation looks fluid and the flying is nice, but you will either love it or hate it - it is not for everyone.
The only gripe I have was the one example of animation exaggeration where the main character gets hit in the face - a bit too over the too for my likes, but as long as it isn't all the time it won't bother me too much.

I don't know how to feel about it.
I was just hoping something in the vein of Avatar The Last Airbender that balances mature themes and storytelling with a presentation freindly and approachable for a young audience.
A show that might give us insisight into the time frame between Return and Awakens.
This just seems very kiddy.

I don't judge things based off trailers. Hopefully it'll prove me wrong.
As long as the First Order aren't made out to be dweebs I'm okay with it.

I think the first season will have a very light story, and the requisite growing pains, and then dive into more elaborate stories.
definitely don't judge it based on the first trailer. people did that to Rebels, and look how seasons 2 through 4 worked out.. mature themes and and storytelling in an approachable format. but you didn't get much of the mature themes at first, and the storytelling in the early season was mostly in the 'setting things up for later use' phase.

Yeah, there is some tone concerns, but both Clone Wars And Rebels matured as they went on, so I feel confident Resistance will too.
Looking forward to what new ships it can bring to X-Wing as well as characters.
As long as they bring forth more Scum models, I'm fine with it

I suspect they will, B1s and Stormtroopers were made into jokey fodder in Clone Wars and Rebels, I expect we will get more scenes like the one in TFA where the storm troopers backed away from Kylo rather than the opening with them just shooting down people.

Also a bit of the Stinger vibe going on. That's Guri's ship from Shadows of the Empire era.
I imagine it is a bit of a customized Starchaser.
I wonder if those enemy ships, that look like larger Jedi Interceptors, are FO or Scum?
