What do we gain from that?
Star Wars Clone Wars: Cyclone Squad OOC

Depending on how well I roll everyone affected will gain 1 or more successes to all their checks for the rest of the encounter (will commit all (3) force dice to keep it going). And I plan on boosting my Force Rating to 5 for the check.
Oh, is that all. 😑
Nice so If I roll 0 success and 6 advantage I just murder all things
It sounds like we are supposed to fix the crane and then we can just all go down as a squad. "Leaving the injured Jedi to follow when they can."
@Jedi Ronin cough*meta*cough
Sorry, the 0 on my keyboard sometimes sticks and I didn't notice. @rocketrobie2 in fact takes 0 damage, but is nocked prone.
@Jedi Ronin and @rocketrobie2 , I'm going to edit my last post to show the effects of the power. The threshold is for both of you as it's to see if the force power can affect each of you.
In the mean time, whoever wants to head up the crane setup will need to do the easy mechanics check with 1 setback, and if you want to get it working this round it'll need 2 others to dedicate their actions to powering it up, making the repairs etc.
Slugger is not the mechanical type so I leave it to my other squad mates.
Right there with you @Shlambate this is out of Brick's wheelhouse. We're looking for 3 Greens or 1 Green 1 Yellow? But honestly someone will probably need to just make the 2 Green roll with 1 or 2 brothers to offer some Boosts. How many clones are we?
Okay, so... checking the console, doing my part. Probably a maneuver to get to the console, and then an action (1 of 3) with the Mechanics check for my share of setting up the crane and getting it working.
Crane controls
:
3eA+1eD+1eS
2 successes, 1 threat
@Edgehawk What are you asking Slugger to do?

Gunslinger already Succeeded in making the check, using Leadership for Mechanics (mission specialist squad formation); essentially.. we did it! Narrate assisting however you wish.

Gotcha
Dang it, I tried to post hours ago but it apparently didn't go through.
First off, I'm sorry I haven't been especially attentive to this game, I've been lacking the bandwidth lately. I should be able to keep up more now.
@Edgehawk , the squad rules are for minions (unless it's been houseruled), so you can't actually use it on 77. That means he couldn't use your Leadership ranks for the check and so his Mechanics check was actually proper for this situation.
Driz will help as needed, but I think you've got it well in hand.

@Rabobankrider has been letting us use squad rules for Cyclone “Squad.” I rarely utilize this option (and it is rarely the most useful action for me to take), but I thought it would be useful to quickly negotiate this difficulty and get us down. You can narrate your PC as you wish, of course.
It was not my intent to steal anyone’s thunder. Presented with an obstacle that none of us was particularly suited for, I thought this was a good option in this case.

I just noticed that it wasn't RAW and thought there may have been a misunderstanding. Now that I am aware of the situation, I am fine with it.
@Rabobankrider , are there any other houserules or game-specific tweaks I am unaware of? So far the only ones I am aware of (and remember) are the differing XP for Jedi vs. Clones and the modified Squad rules.
Also, in relation to the game, may I please make a Perception check to see what I can see and/or hear from down the shaft? (bolding so you don't miss it)

If this is what "inattentive" looks like I think you'll be just fine Rules Lawyer, lol 😜

I prefer "rules dictionary."
Besides, that was me returning from inattentiveness.
@P-47 Thunderbolt , other than the xp and the squad rules, I believe the only other one was regarding the risk of death in certain situations. For example if your character is tied up and facing a firing squad, the firing squad won't need to keep rolling till you run out of wounds. This is primarily to add a bit of pressure to capture situations and such. So far it's not come up and wouldn't be a common event either.
You can make a perception check as you head down into the pit, it'll be an easy perception check with 2 setback and 1 boost due to the sheer dark your going into. I will do a follow up post after your check as those who haven't used their actions may still be able to act.
It's a manoeuvre to mount up onto the platform, and anyone else who wants to do a perception check can do. Depending on what you see those who haven't taken an action will be able to do so. After this round regular initiative will be resumed.

Yeah, I do something similar I call a "narrative kill" where a character can be outright killed without a check under the right circumstances.
Perception check:
Meesa Blind...
:
3eA+1eB+1eD+2eS
3 successes, 2 advantage
Ooo, nice.
That's pretty much it yeah, with how brutal the Sep's can be, it just made sense to add the gravity ot those situations.
@P-47 Thunderbolt the post for what you spot is up, you can alert the others to what you see if you want, and those who haven't taken their action can attack if they want. The enemy is at short range but all combat checks will have 2 setback due to the dark. If you want you can pass a boost to an ally or remove 1 of the setback from this turn.
The crane will lower you guys 2 range bands a round, just to let you guys know, and currently you cannot see the bottom so you must be going a fair distance down.
Edited by RabobankriderLet's remove one of those Setback. That means everyone only suffers 1 Setback due to darkness for this turn, correct?
@Rabobankrider are we acting in initiative order?
@P-47 Thunderbolt , for 2 advantage it will only be for 1 person unfortunately.
@Shlambate , for the remainder of this round those who haven't taken an action can still act in whatever order they want. Next round of combat it will return to normal.
Who wants to go in what order.
