How close are they?
Jailbird and the Desperadoes OOC
Short or Medium? I'll be honest, Kaz isn't that nice, he deals with problems swiftly. He is most likely going to attack either by engaging or throwing, even if he can't return it.
They are at short range, one is in the cockpit and one is at a station in a alcove between the cockpit and the hold.
Hey guys, Kaz really is going to attack, I'm sorry if that means one of them gets the chance to raise the alarm.
Catch this
:
2eP+1eB+2eA+1eD+1eF
3 successes, 1 threat, 1 Dark Side
so 9 Damage, flipping a Destiny to use the Dark Side and suffer strain and conflict. The Saber is left either in the corpse or nearby. Kaz then suffers 2 more strain to draw his shield
Now, Conflict? Lying for personal gain? Resorting to violence?
Should I edit my post since my arrival is postponed or just delete it and make a new one? It currently doesn't make much sense so editing it or making a new post seems the best option.
Perhaps edit it to not initiate conversation. Replace with "WTF is that lunatic doing?" Or "we need one of those!" ?
I'll leave that roll @Richardbuxton , but they have a rank in adversary so it'll be a challenge dice for the next officer.

You guys are important!
:
1eC
2 failures
So results are 1 Success, 1 Advantage 1 DS. Recover 1 Strain with A. Still use the DS point. Only 7 Damage
Officer is hurt but not down
Am I right in assuming an attack against you is also easy difficulty?
Actually I have an attachment on the Saber which allows an advantage to increase the damage by 1. So I'll bump that Damage to 8 and keep the Strain.
If the officers have ranged weapons then yes, Easy difficulty with 2 Setback for defence.
First officer
First officer
:
2eS+1eD+1eA+2eP
0 successes, 1 advantage
2nd officer is firing at you @Richardbuxton
2nd officer
:
2eS+1eD+1eA+2eP
2 successes, 1 threat
So 7 damage how do you wanna spend threat?
I'll take the three wounds and they can suffer a Strain.
Being rivals that would be a delt as a wound.
Quick question to Kaz, was what you did relatively "impossible" to someone not familiar with the Force? From your description it sounded like you did a saber throw, did you also call it back to yourself?
I guess I can take the next IC post of yours as the response to my question?
So Jaycen is going to shoot at the one that just hit Kaz. His gun has a mod that provides the Quick Draw talent. Since he doesn't need to move, he's going to take both of his maneuvers to double aim, and shoot the guy. He's using stun setting on the weapon, just fyi, so any dmg will be strain.
Any other negative modifiers for the dice roll other than the basic 1 die for range?
Yeah Kaz threw it but didn't have enough Pips to return it. The speed with which he threw it and the timing of the blade considering it was spinning is certainly impressive. But the most important part is that he has a glowing stick of plasma that just cut the back off a chair like a knife through butter.

Right, technology is an amazing thing, but he worked for a company that blew up planets, so a laser stick by itself isn't going to freak him out too much, beyond the "Holy crap don't swing that thing so close to me you fool!" kind of thing.
Also just to double check with the GM, are there any other negative modifiers on my attack roll? Or is it just ranged difficulty?
Edited by KungFuFerretThe unhurt officer is a challenge the other fell off the seat and is in cover behind it and would be a challenge and a setback.
