Thanks for putting these together man, they are awesome

Have we lost the table for spending advantages and threats etc in combat? Or am I just going a bit old and blind?

Sorry, i found it at the back with the skills. Could these tables be put back on one sheet and moved up to the combat section as I have found its one of the most referenced tables so far and having it with the skills will make it difficult to reference, my players call it a menu of doom.

And please can you add a couple of rows to the advantage and triumph table to state spend 1 or more advantage (or a single triumph) to score a critical hit or to activate a weapon quality.

This is a great collection of information. Thanks for putting it together.

Ok, I made this first change intentionally, because as a GM it was handy to have one two-pager with all the out of combat and in combat spending of threat and despair together, and it allowed me to have another two-pager with all the spending of advantage, triumph for in and out of combat to give to players. So before I go ahead and change it back, I'm keen to hear opinions on which format people would prefer (i.e.: separated by GM vs player, or "in combat" vs "out of combat")?

However, I'll add the critical hit/weapon quality rows to the table for next week's update.

Dude, OMG… I could kiss you for these reference sheets… these are awesome. :)

I would pay for these if these were for sell, and once the Crit Tables are up, this is like … amazing. These are top notch.

As a GM I use both the threat and dispair pages (when the players are rolling dice) and the advantage and triumph pages (everytime I am rolling dice on behalf of NPCs).

I my first session I printed your reference sheets twice, one for me, and one for my players.

Plus, even when it was their turn to chose advantages and triumph effects (or threat and dispair, as a matter of fact), I used to prompt them, sometimes reading or restating their choices, to help them learn, focus and speed the game.

Given this, is much more useful to me to have the information sorted with "combat" information together and "out of combat" information in another place (even if this artificial division is not strictly so, such as I might need to consult information regarding skills in a combat encounter, this way information is more manageble - there is a reason why this is organized like this in different chapters in the gamebook). And we can always print more copies of the reference sheet so everybody at the table is following this stuff.

Finally, I would like to compliment you for your work providing the most useful acessory distributed for this game yet. This alone is responsible for easing the barrier entry for my players, for me and, i am willing to bet, a lot more of us.

Thanks for sharing.

+1 (and +5 players)

I've finished and uploaded this weeks update:

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/9077657/SW-EotE-Reference-Sheets.pdf

Major changes:

  • All changes from week 4 update.
  • Added requirements/restrictions for weapon/armor upgrades.
  • Added Improvised Weapons.
  • Changed spending advantages/threat/etc charts back to the way they were - skills on one two pager, combat on a single page.

I'm sure you heard it enough already - but this guide is awesome. Thanks for the time & effort!

Thank-you so much for putting this together, they are not only awesome but also very useful. happy.gif

Would it be possible to put version numbers in these files when you post them? It is getting confusing which is which.

Can do. I actually have them all versioned (in the file name, not the actual sheets), which I can upload to dropbox. Putting the version in the actual file contents itself will only happen for future versions.

Excellent thanks. It is not so much an issue now but I could see it being a bit of a mess and confusing after a few months.

Thank you for the reference sheet and the updates.

As requested, links to the historical versions (hopefully the URLs are self-explanatory…):

I don't seem to have kept a v1, and the current version is 6… when I do this weeks update I'll post links to the archived version and new version.

wow thank you for keeping this up to date!!!! very nice!!! Just what I needed

Gribble, many thanks for all your hard work on these - they are invaluable! happy.gif

I've spotted one slight error you may have missed: the Holdout Blaster should have a Crit rating of 4, not 2. (Although my old beloved WEG 1ed Gambler would probably prefer you leave it as is. gui%C3%B1o.gif )

Cheers again!

Thanks for catching that. I've updated that and also included the week 5 updates in the latest version:

Yeah, I'll echo this. These sheets have proven quite handy to have in lieu of a GM's screen, so my thanks as well for not only putting this together but also for updating it each weak.

great work. much appreciated.

You're a machine. Thx man.

Amazing work, this document is invaluable to our group.

I did noticed a typo on the first page. In the last box of the page, under Explorer: Trader. The final specialization skill should read Knowledge (Education) rather than (Negotiation).

Thanks!

An incredible piece of work. Many thanks!

Thanks - fix will be in the next version.
