Bestin runs up into the cockpit. "What'ssss going on? You ssssaid someone'ssss hacking?"

Bestin grab a cup and have a seat. I poured brandy in his cup. I then started to filling him in on what happen.

I will get us out of here , RO-0K said, he finished the pretrip and accelerated through the atmosphere and to the closest jump point. Entering Hyperspace... now. The droid activated the hyperdrive and Rook was on it's way to Coruscant.

As they went into hyperspace Bestin got that wired filling he always got when going into hyperspace, I jusssst hate that. "That'ssss why I hate computerssss, and love drinksssss."

RO-0K slowly turned it'd head to glare at Bestin, All computers? it asked dryly, before turning back to the controls. Speaking of which, what is the status of my systems Raxle?... Before you inebriate yourself...

RO-0K accessed the ships security cams and routed the feed to it's internal systems, observing Bestin taking another drink and begin to sway as the alcohol took effect. RO-0K didn't understand many biologic behavior, like the desire to.. download substances that would cause them to perform lower than their optimized specification rating. RO-0K always strove to improve itself through modifications and upgrades, to push itself far past it's original factory specification.. ( What that was, it couldn't recall.. either it had deleted the data, or buried it as inconsequential.... ) It would be like intentionally downloading a virus, just to experience your neuro-net in somesort of cascade failure until you couldn't stabilize your gyroscopic systems and you fell down.. RO-0K couldn't see the point.

Still.... as he watched it's biologic companions enjoying their cascade failures, it couldn't help but fell... left out.... The horror viral corruption snapped it out of it's thoughts, what was it processing! No, it had worked too hard to take the risk...

RO-0K made a note to itself about possibly of one of it's backup drives, linked through multiple firewalls... possibly programming an inebriation protocol, and linking only the effect of the virus and not the damage......

The system seems to be working as far as I can tell. The intruder was able to cover his tracks. Boy that guy was good. I will continue to look for something, but don't hold your breath. Raxle gives RO-0K funny look. That's right, you already can.

RO-0K glances at the environmental controls, You could vent the atmosphere... no one would know.....

Glad they gave Hawkeye more lines in Age of Ultron, he had some of ...

Did I offend him? Can droids be offended? Clearly this one can. "I jusssst find mosssst of them unreliable. Not you of coursssse." Bestin stated.

About twelve hours later, Rook exits hyperspace in the Coruscant system. After making their way through customs and the busy space lanes, they make it planetside and head for the financial district. When they approach the Sacul Industries Group tower, they transmit the codes and are cleared to land on the designated pad.

The tower is a tall, bright structure, smooth and immaculate. The pad sticks out from the side of the building and appears to generally be reserved for private shuttle-craft. From the pad, they can see down thousands and thousands of feet into the cavernous depths of Coruscant, glittering with lights from the buildings and reflected off of the many speeders as they flit back-and-forth. However, even as high-up as they are, the tower still goes up for another couple hundred feet, making them feel quite small indeed. Rook lands gently on the pad, guided in by light tractor beams.

A small team of security, led by a burly male human, approaches the door on the ship's port side, waiting for the ship's occupants to exit the craft. Several false sections of the landing pad's floor open up and various pieces of equipment ascend out of their compartments on elevators. The droid brains in the equipment activate and they come alive, moving towards Rook to begin refueling and cleaning the ship. If they had not had such frequent memory wipes as to render them completely unimaginative, they very well may have balked at the sight. They were used to luxurious custom hoverlimos and executive shuttles, all of which have much more frequent cleanings. This was... something else.

Upon arrival Raxle does one more systems check to see if anything looks out of the ordinary with computers. I hope I'm just being paranoid about this computer hacking attack.

Rook how do you want to play this? I can stay aboard to make sure we are ready to go in hurry. I hope Rook doesn't need me. Don't what them to know I'm a Clawdite. I could change into Will, not sure if I want them to know that either. But I will see how this plays.

RO-0K got up from the pilots seat, If you are able, pull a record of the slicing attempt just incase they are able to discover any corruption in the package. It looked to Bestin, You might be required for support, incase our intruder attempts a physical attack. Raxel, you may be required to pilot Rook temporarily if an attack is eminent.

It paused on it's way to the hatch.. Do not leave us behind... It added almost as an afterthought.

Not a problem, consider it done. I will be here waiting if we need to get out of here fast. I wish I would have practice more on my pilot training. Do you need R1 to come with you? He's very helpful. Raxle goes to pilot seat and starts to familiarize with the controls. I will also check our scanners to see If I detect anything out of the ordinary. Goodluck and let me know if you need anything. I will also be on comms.

Affirmative, RO-0K replied as it retrieved the data disk. R1 may accompany us if it wishes.. Perhaps the client will hesitate to which droid is which...

RO-0K activated its internal recording devices just incase for a little insurance, as it lead the way out of the ship and scanned the landing pad for the anonymous client.

"Gotcha." Bestin follows the droids out of the ship.

The security officer greets them brusquely as they leave the ship, impatient and rather distasteful, "The boss is ready for you, come with me." He gestures towards the building and begins walking, expecting the group to follow him. The other security personnel wait for the group of pass, intending to take up the rear.

You should be notified of a possible security breach, RO-0K said as he walked along side the security guard. There was an attempt to slice the transmission before departure.

He looks back at RO-0K, frowning, "Not my business. Take it up with your client. I'm just here to make sure you get where you're going." he says pointedly.

They reach the end of the bridge between the landing pad and the building and turn onto the walkway that encircles the building, with tastefully positioned greenery along the glass wall that seals in the walkway from the drop below. The walkway bows out around a glass turbolift that runs down the outside wall of the building. As they approach, the human signals the droid attendant, who opens the turbolift and gestures them in with a deferential statement.

The security officer steps in first, turning to face the others as they file in behind him. Once the couriers are in (the other security continues on their way, their job finished) he flashes his badge over a scanner and tells the droid, "Top floor. No stops." The droid responds in the affirmative and the glass doors slide shut, sealing with a satisfying sshhh-thuk , and the turbolift shoots up. From here, they can look out over the city. It's summer on Coruscant, and the late sunset is beautiful. Oranges fade into purple and intermix with the clouds to create a wonderful effect. One of the world's moons looms large off not far to the right of the setting sun. The guard, looking over their shoulders at the sunset comments, "Never seen anything quite like a Coruscant sunset, have you? Greatest city in the galaxy."

"It issss quite beautiful. It looksss ssso over populated." Bestin said as he looked out the window.

RO-0K debated telling them that most of the color was ,in fact, was light refracting through heavy pollution.. That patch of purple over there was from the industrial sector.

RO-0K cycled through visual and light spectrum..

Yes... the pollution from the industrial sector adds very vibrant colors. It is a shame you probably can't see the ultraviolet spectrum..

He grunts and the rest of the trip progresses in silence until the turbolift stops near the very top of the building. The man turns around and a door on the other side of the pod opens into the left corner of a pristine anteroom, bright white and with a huge window facing out over the same view as could be seen from the turbolift. The security officer steps off to the side, and the droid secretary stands, ushering Bestin, RO-0K, and R-1 into the office. A middle-aged human with graying hair and an immaculate suit smiles a strained smile at them from behind his desk. "Do you have the datapackage? Rook, isn't it?"

RO-0K held up a hand, First, please transmit the verification code.

It waits as the human typed on his datapad and looked back to RO-0K unexpectedly. RO-0K tilted it's head slightly as the code came through via Rook 's relay. Verification confirmed. Be advised, there was an attempt to slice my system during the download.. It said as it handed over the disc. In the future, I would advise you preload a data device with your data encrypted, and hand over the device to the courier.

He frowns at the news of the slicing attempt and at RO-0K's admonition, "I'm afraid that wasn't an option in this case. Don't tell me how to go about my business. Anyway, I assume you want your payment?" He reaches down behind his desk and pulls out a very sturdy-looking silver case, setting it on the desk and typing in the numerical code. It pops open and he spins it around for RO-0K to examine. It instantly sees what Pigeon had been talking about. Lying in a bed of foam, formed to fit its shape perfectly, is a shiny new cybernetic arm. The droid instantly identifies it as one of the models on its shortlist of cybernetics to look into acquiring. Oh, and there are also a lot of credits.

Bestin looks confused. Arm? this droid is crazy? At least there's credits too. We'll talk about this on the ship. " Doessss everything sssseem to be in order, according to the deal?" Bestin says as he looks over at RO-0K.

RO-0K ran through a quick analysis of the client. Arrogant, refuses advice from professional contractors on improving security procedures. Foolish.

Analysis of Bestin: Confusion is obvious, vocal tone does well to cover personal discomfort with payment.. Eyes glances at me. He is questioning the arm.

Payment is not what was agreed on. Analysis of value of arm and existing credits equal the amount agreed.

Conclusion: Client is arrogant and altered the payment. Idiot, fool, untrustworthy. Also has put possible strain on trust of business partner. Unacceptable.

Penalty for infractions: The copy of the transmitted data still remains in Rooks's buffer shall be decoded and analyzed.

Payment, while not agreed upon, it is acceptable. Pleasure doing business with you.

The arm will go to Raxle for now. Disassemble and analyzed... I do not trust the source.

"Likewise." he says, and touches his desk. The droid receptionist returns and opens the door, waiting expectantly for the trio to exit. The security guard is still waiting in the room to escort them back to their ship.
