The hold hardly seemed like much, mostly scattered vheh’yaim. Clan Skirata was almost constantly on the move. It was harder for an enemy to attack you if they didn’t know where you were. There were several dugouts and a few hastily made barricades in the event of an attack, as well as a few speeders set up around the area to be used defensively, though it was clear most of the transports were gone.

As the ship landed, Arde opened up the hatch, stepping out to look at the abandoned hold. Just because it didn’t seem like anyone was still here didn’t mean that someone couldn’t be hiding. “ Come on, ” he told Naz, keeping a hand on his blaster. “ Let’s get our things and get out of here .”

Tam poked her head out of the hatch, You need any help? She offered.

" Might need some. " Naz started, considering how many tools he had. " If we had a loader or anything it'd be easier to get my tools and things on board. There's quite a few. It isn't easy machining custom pieces for blasters. We might be able to use one of these speeders to haul them easier. "

Kih'parjai! Tam called, Come on Keb'ika, we've got some heavy lifting to do!

Kebiin and Tam follow Naz to his work shop and start moving equipment back to the Kom'rk. Making sure everything is securely stowed as they bring everything into the small storage area.

On their first trip back from the workshop, Tam thinks she glimpses a shape moving stealthily alongside them, but it might just be her imagination.

On their next trip, as they approach the workshop, a strill jumps threateningly out in front of them, growling and pacing back and forth between them and their destination, keeping Tam and Kebiin back from the workshop, where Arde and Naz are packing up some of the equipment.

Whoa, Kebiin says to the strill, udesii, ner'vod..

oooh, Tam whistles A strill!

As the Strill growls at them, Arde steps out of the makeshift workshop, carrying a box of weapons. Noticing the Strill, he sets the box down and whistles once. The Strill immediately stops its growing and turns, looking at a Arde for a moment before running over to Arde. As it reaches him, the Mandalorian whistles again, this time shorter, and it immediately lays down on its stomach. He kneels down and gives the Strill some scratches on the head. “ You were supposed to go with Shysa, ” he says with a shake of his head.

He picks the box of weapons back up, and the Strill moves to his side happily. “ This is Char.

Su cuy'gar Char, Gar a jate vod'ika? Kebiin asks.

Tam looks at Arde, I didn't know there were still strills on Mandal'yaim..

Don’t know,” Arde said with a shrug. “ Char was a gift from my buir when I came of age. Back on Concord Dawn. Been with me ever since.”

The strill continued to eye the two of them cautiously, slowly making it’s way over and sniffing at them.

Tam and Kebiin smile at the strill and carefully continue to move Arde's gear into the Kom'rk 's cargo hold.

Sure hope Char gets along with the bes'adike.. Tam says to Kebiin.

Kebiin shrugs as best she can as she carries one of the tool sets. I guess we'll see on the way to the briefing..

With most of the heavier tools on board, it doesn’t take long for the four of them to finish loading up the rest of the salvage and weaponry from Naz’s workshop. “ I believe that’s everything, ” Naz says as Arde deposits the last box up the ramp. “ I hope they provide us with enough space. Creating something the size of a starfighter isn’t going to be easy.

You think they've got a hidden shipyard or a base? Kebiin asked.

Tam nudged Kebiin in the arm, Plenty of old bases from the last war still around.. Maybe they moved into one.

“That’s not a bad thought. An old Separatist base could work well. Plenty still abandoned from the Clone Wars,” Naz said as they loaded into the Kom’rk.

Alright! Kebiin says with a clap of her hands, Let's get going before the shabla Empire figures they missed something and imposes martial law..

They all head into the Kom'rk and prepare for departure.

Kebiin checks her sensors before opening the throttle headed to the upper atmosphere.

As you leave the atmosphere, the ship's sensors start picking up signals between you and your hyperspace routes. The Imperials have pulled back from the planet, having suffered too many losses from commando raids on low-orbit ships, but they still maintain the blockade with interdictors and other support ships, positioned carefully to allow their gravity wells to overlap with those of the planet, preventing any ships from jumping out of the system without running the blockade first.

Arde stood behind Kebiin with a hand gripped tight on her chair, staring through the glass at the ships beyond. “ Interdictors. Don’t suppose your ship has stealth capabilities.

About as a Hutt crossing packing wrap... Kebiin muttered.

Tam looks up from her datapad. In other words, they probably saw us leave the surface...

Don’t see any TIE’s yet ,” Arde commented, continuing to stare down the Interdictors. “ Think you can make it through? Get hit by a tractor beam, mission is over.

The aforementioned TIEs (at least, you assume they are TIEs) pop onto your scope, they were probably shielded from your scanners by the ships they were escorting. Twelve of them, closing fast.

They just came across the scope, Kebiin growled, Looks like twelve... they must've been behind those ships, or just launched.

Arde grumbles something about Imperials under his breath as he counts the TIE Fighters. “ Too many to take down. Or outrun.

Kebiin scoffs, We'll see about that.. she twists the yoke, and accelerates to skim the outer edge of the interdiction field.

Tam crabs the counsel as the ship spins, keying up her slicing programs so she can attempt to infiltrate the TIE's systems.

Arde takes up position for the rear gun. Confidence or not, he expected their only chance would be to take down the TIE’s that got close enough and hope that they missed most of their shots from further out. It was fortunate that there was a rear gun, or it would be a simple matter for the TIE’s to get a lock while they tried to run the blockade.

Naz, see if you can find something to overcharge our shields, ” Arde barked, nd Naz quickly headed to where they’d brought his things aboard.

The squadron of TIEs adjusts to intercept the new course, but one of the flights lags behind, turning much more slowly than the others and loosing distance.
