Pretty sure Falmok doesn't want it.. actually, I don't think any of the group takes trophies...

Unless you count Cade! :D

I still get a kick out of that one...

:D such a romantic, ain't he?

Okay, so with combat currently out of the way, what are everyone's next moves?

Refresher: Multiple lifesigns in the barracks, a couple in the building with the comms array.

Well, I think investigating this possible bomb situation is pretty high on my list... other than that, confiscating any cache would help put a dent in DW.....

1, check out the bomb

2, figure out what to do with the gunrunners.

3, raid the compound...

4, intel on DW.

(Darien should keep the DW jetpack as a "trophy" he earned the upgrade :D )

If we want to be kinda ruthless.... Raid the compound, and just leave.. the bomb would go off once we get out of transmission range.....

Okay, unless anyone has objections/suggestions, each player please go ahead and narrate your characters' actions (Ruus's should probably go first and let the rest follow their lead, just for ease of continuity).

If your first job is to check out the bomb, who volunteers for the mission?

Well, Maya volunteers at the very least to see if she thinks she can defuse the bomb. The signal should have it stable. I guess I’d also like to know if there’s a way she can safeguard the signal she’s broadcasting from the ship, in case someone in the comma array or the barracks could interrupt it somehow.

Hmm... While I don't think they'd intentionally blow themselves to haran, if you want to try to further encrypt it, you can make a Hard Computers check to lock it down, increased in difficulty by 1 to keep it transmitting the signal. Total difficulty of Daunting.

@P-47 Thunderbolt

mind rolling for me? Phone isn’t cooperating with orokos and I’m not off work for another hour.

Sure! Can't promise much luck though (last try [different thread] was against CCD and I rolled 6 Failures).

What'd I tell ya! Alrighty then, with the 3 Advantage, I'll say that you can increase the difficulty to slice into the system by 1, but you fail to lock it down.

Because of the magnetic seal, only minor repairs are necessary. 2 points of HT, and I'll say that you patched it (enough, at least. You'll still have some trouble [dis]embarking).

Anything’s better then nothing. If possible, can I Salvage some bits of the crashed Cloakshapes to be more thorough with repairs?

Mmm... not really. As far as modifying the roll, no. However, I'll say that the hangar has ample supplies to patch it.

I think Darien and Falmok are going to check out the bomb, and talk to Red, Cade will make his way to the Comm's and Barracks buildings. Kara can train the turret in that direction, while keeping an eye out for the Kom'rk.

(Falmok and Red have high enough intelligence to at least assist Maya.. Darien could help Cade once he talks to Red...)

Please go ahead and meet up with the Mando, then after we've resolved the introduction, we can move on to the bomb.

Let's do the bomb-defusing first, then the combat.

@ShockHelix, @RuusMarev, please go ahead and narrate your characters' actions and approach to the building. How do you intend to enter it (checks may be required)?

D&F will check the windows first, look inside to see what they can see... checking for wires, or anything that shouldn't be there... possibly using them to enter..

No windows on ground level, but you can jetpack up to the roof, if you so desire, and look in through the skylight (broken by the commando).

yup, sounds like a plan.. I'm guessing we're giving Maya a lift.

Up to ShockHelix, but the skylight isn't the only means of entrance, just the only one that's unlocked.

I would be concerned with booby trapped doors, ect.. I guess someone in a jetpack can scout the roof, and possibly unlock the door..

Can I use Maya’s datapad to scan and see if there’s anything that might imply the building is trapped?

No, I'd say that you at least have to have a scanner for that.

well, I think I'll have Darien jet up onto the roof and check out the skylight...if it looks safe to enter, he'll see it its ok to open a door...

Okay, please go ahead and narrate that, then @ShockHelix, please go ahead and narrate Maya's insertion into the situation.

Once you are on the roof, I'll narrate what you see.

Is Darien taking Maya with him?
