Is wu’s expertise needed again? XD

Check to heal Kara's wounds is Average. Other than that, stims. All depends on how you want to handle it narratively.

Med check: 3eP+1eB+2eD 0 successes, 4 advantage
p-s-a.pngp-a-a.pngp-s.pngb-s-a.pngd-f-f.pngd-f.png

Amazing...

how many stimpacks do yall want me to use now? XD. Or wld yall rather me save them and let kara heal naturally.

Right now, you've got extensive supplies so number of stims isn't an issue.

With the Advantage, I'll allow Surgeon 2 to apply even though it normally wouldn't. With Stimpack Specialization 2, a single stim puts her down to 3 wounds after Surgeon, so she can heal the rest naturally.

Gotcha. So the stim will come frm the ship?

Yes.

Okay, so conferring with everyone to move this along, how do you all feel about paying the Chagrian 60k credits to cover our trail?

Alternatively, if we want to keep the credits, how do you feel about a different deal where we try to convince him to hang tight while we deal with the Sith, then work with him to take out Valek and put him in charge instead, since he doesn't seem to like Valek very much?

Darien is a bit gun-shy about not covering the trail (though he definitely does want the credits), but he'll go along with popular demand if everyone else wants the credits (he'd have some reservations).
His "I want a nice simple job" tendencies make him cautious about the latter, but he'd go along with it (unless he isn't going along because he's in recovery :P).

Now as a GM:
Since you want to come back anyway, the latter is an interesting option but he'd almost certainly require that you give him the credits until you fulfill your end of the bargain so that he can leave if necessary. I'll say that Maya got a good idea as to how receptive he'd be to that, so I'll go ahead and give you the difficulty for your decision making purposes: It'll still be 2eC since it's an opposed check, but you get 2 Boost and a Setback due to the high-risk, high-reward nature of it.

We are are very close to starting our own "Syndicate" at this point.. 😁

More in line with "side business of questionable gray area of legalness"

Is this a "sure whatever" or were you voting for a specific option?

Cade and Kara are more towards the "that 60k belongs to the team, we earned it. These chakaar would sell their mothers if it benefits them..." (and they don't think it takes 60k to get off planet.)

We should negotiate a lower sum, and provide him a recording of his boss selling out Gorka/Jabba... This guy moves up the chain, the Hutts think Valek is possibly behind everything we did...(If our helmets have that capability..if not, we probably should upgrade.) If the Chagrian wants out, we could take him off world with a lower amount and drop him off on another seedy world... (where is the Dar'Jetii?)

He's actually got a recording already, so that isn't a problem. He'll bring it up when offered.

The Dar'Jetti is on Sharlissia. It's a backwater's backwater, nothing there. Hard Knowledge (Outer Rim) check with 2 Setback to learn more.

@ShockHelix 2eC with 2 Boost and a Setback to convince him to stay (he may still want some of the credits on a Threat result). If you fail and he still wants out, he won't negotiate any lower on the credit amount, viewing it almost like suing for lost wages and inconvenience (he's just also a bit desperate, so he isn't pressing too hard or for too much).

Not an unfair assessment, though a Hutt and an obnoxious Twi'lek are a long shot from someone's mother... :D

He's using a translator that added some words that are actually filled by "Tion." When asking a question (yes, Ms. Traviss. Don't think I didn't notice you being clever), "Tion" serves as "who/what/when/where/why/how." What Ruus meant was "How is Darien?" or "Tion cuyir Darien?"

Ooo i c thanks!

@ShockHelix has been inactive, and we need to move the story along, so I narrated the negotiations IC.

@ShockHelix, you are welcome to rejoin us whenever it is convenient for you. This upcoming mission is an easy one for sidelining Maya, so you won't have much you need to do. You can work on armor (or other) crafting if you have the time and inclination.

@RuusMarev, when it's time to make the check, Astrogation to Vorpa'ya is Easy with a Setback, but take a Boost since you just did this route in the opposite direction.

Costs for the ship was 600 credits to refuel and restock and the operating budget was already 1k low, so I'm taking that out of the credits you get from the bounty on Gorka. With 10% off from Tipping Point's cut, that brings you down to 38,000 credits (and a full operating budget). In this case, you get paid digitally, with the credits deposited into a bank account to be distributed amongst the PCs as desired.

Among the six who started the mission, and even split would be 6,300 with 200 left over. Once you count Wu into the mix, might make sense to go with 5,500 each and 5k for the new guy. Narratively, payment for medical services (and most importantly, all round numbers). Unless you want to handle it differently, in which case it's up to you guys.
