Technically speaking, I think since I succeeded on the check he's supposed to stay true to his word, so I think we don't have to worry about anyone besides us knowing what actually went down since we jammed any outgoing signals.

Yeah, but getting them out was part of the deal in letting him go. If he's still on the planet then they haven't even picked him up yet. I suppose realistically they could refuse to listen to him, but I don't believe it's possible for them to have shown up on Ord Mantell first.

@ShockHelix, @Tramp Graphics (especially Tramp) what are your thoughts to the go in swinging option? If we continue talking with Gorka, the more that (it seems to me) it'll end up with us "working" for him.. and I'm not sure if it would go against any of our codes of honoring contracts.. C&K already have their thing about slavery, so working for those owning slaves rubs them the wrong way... (although they would suck it up as much as the can, to honor a contract)

We could have C,K&G negotiate more time to gather some colleagues together, but I don't trust the Bank rep not to sell them out..

I'm more inclined to wait, Ge'tal, however? That's another matter. Regardless. It wouldn't suit Ge'tal to be the one to assassinate Gorka. That's not her thing. Her thing is direct combat. She'd be better served taking on the guards and such.

sounds good to me, you can handle the the two guards then :)

@P-47 Thunderbolt, are we allowed to get an idea about how much of a badass Gorka might be?

Would any of us know enough about Hutts to get a rough idea?

You know Hutts are fairly strong, and Gorka seems like he would be too, but he is not currently armed. Harder to gauge actual martial prowess, though.

@RuusMarev, what's your plan?

As much as I want to give it a go and try taking him out, I'm hedging more towards having the whole team together. (knowing full well that the delay might be used against us.)

So, we'll probably negotiate for more time, get back with the intel of the known security procedures, and prep the full team.. and possibly improve the capabilities of the droids..

(my only caveat to this is if the rest of the team could be on site within ..like ten minutes. and they can bring in munitions.)

I'm being 'wishy-washy' on this 😢

Don't overthink it too much, even if you screw it up a little, you should still be fine. Just go with Cade's gut (<_< Errr... Hang on. As long as Cade's gut listens to Kara's brain. :D).

If you're ready, please go ahead and post IC.

ummm, I just thought of something... Gorka is smoking something... Can we figure out if he's high.. or otherwise incapacitated that he might not do so well in a fight?

Make a Hard Perception check or a Hard (w/ 1 Setback) Knowledge (Xenology) check.

Kara perception: : 2eA+1eP+3eD+1eS 1 success

It is a common substance with a minor intoxicating effect, it probably has no real effect on his capabilities.

High Resilience. High tolerance. You wont get nothin from a breathalyzer, son.

<_< regroup it is then... going to keep my eye on you...

Hmm... I'm wondering if it would be worth asking about the layout and general construction of the doors and security points as they leave and collect their gear...

eh,what the heck... yeah, I'll ask. (do i need to roll?)

Inside the Hutt's room, or the casino as well?

...yes....

figured it would be a good idea to do recon on our way out, we may have to fight our way in... (realistically I think from the scan techs, into the Hutts room would be the actual firefight. checking out the casino would be more about what the Hutt might have in reserve.)

Okay, make an Easy Skulduggery check.

: 3eA+1eD 2 successes, 2 advantage

From the entrance to where you were in the Hutt's rooms:
The entrance to the casino is guarded by a pair of bouncers armed with heavy blaster pistols. The scanner techs are unarmed. The doors into the vestibule and into the lobby are security doors, probably blaster proofed and easily locked in an emergency. The spiral staircase up has a lock on the door at the top. The double door entrance to the Hutt's space is guarded by a pair of heavily armed Weequay, and the doors are quite solid. The building with the casino is divided into two sections: The Hutt's space off to one side, and the actual casino takes up the rest of the space. From what you can see on your way out, there is a door leading from the space below the Hutt's room to the main room. You have seen someone exit with a drink tray. The stage is still empty, but there is presumably space behind it and to the sides. Inside the Hutt's rooms, there are two doors off to either side, but you did not see these open so you do not know what might be through them.

I'm going to print this out so i won't loose it in the upcoming posts :D
