That last bit might be hard for Cade... :D

I know.. <_< .. He can be impulsive at times.. but it tends to work in his favor ;)

For either option, we can abstract it with a couple rolls and let you narrate it. Which option do you want to go with? (yeah, Let's see whats available at least..)

Dar and Vhal could cover the bar, though there is still the issue of sticking out like a sore thumb... maybe they should go shopping for that armored clothing you'd mentioned.

Yeah.. Kara would appreciate that..

Like I said though.. any shopping would have to be with Group Fund, I'm pretty sure C&K put most of their funds into Liberator...

We could always go to the ‘bank’ first and see if the credits in the account are there. Which I’m sure they aren’t. Because @P-47 Thunderbolt Has been very clearly attempting to temper our expectations of that 300k being there with Darien regularly saying they may have moved them.

Yeah I know what you’re up to you little sneak.

Yeah.. I've noticed that too.... <_<

@ShockHelix, personally, I was hopping for your better pool :D in terms on the bank transfer

A couple sets of armored clothing fits within the group expense account. You want Dar and Vhal to go shopping for it?

we could have them do that.. C&K could inquire about bounties and scout around.. denying all indication or offers against Hutt or Sun...

That's actually just Darien being practical (and slightly pessimistic, but not very). I've been trying very hard to have minimal bleed-over between the GM and the PC of GMPC.

It really depends on how things go as to whether the credits are still there, and whether you manage to claim them. I try not to have predetermined outcomes.

Suuuuuuure. 😝 Well in that case I don't think anyone is going to turn their nose up at a pay day to outfit/gear up before we try raiding a Hutt Stronghold, so I vote we try to withdraw the credits, scout out the bank, and go after that set of encounters first.

Okay, sounds like you guys are ready to have them discuss this stuff IC.

@ShockHelix, I think Maya could fall back on her previous training in the Political circles to scout the bank as a "representative" of senatorial aid or other politician.. seeking to move an account to this bank... that way you could ask for reassurances on security, electronic transfers, ect , ect...

Well remember, Maya actually added an alias and passcode to the account with the 300k. In theory, she can just come in and withdraw it, and use that opportunity to get info on the rest of the bank while in the process. Then we can split that for gear, scout out the bank, steal the rest of whatever might be housed there for 'group funds', and then go after the Hutt's palace once we have the gear and XP upgrades from hitting the bank.

By the way, I have finished the Kandosii Beroya'se doc. It is now up-to-date.

If someone else wants to go with her, Darien could step aside, but he's starting to feel protective of Maya and that's why I volunteered him.

I’ll leave that up to @RuusMarev and @Tramp Graphics if they’re willing to wait to progress until Maya shapes the materials into the Superior Attachment. I figure that’s going to be the difference if we want to really handle it properly narratively.

I do believe somewhere in the rules it specifies attachments are easily slottable, but I figure for something like a Superior customization, you were saving the money here on someone not having to make it to fit your armor first, And instead just supplying Micah with what she needs to make that for you.

Regardless, if you are both fine with waiting for that, @P-47 Thunderbolt How long is it going to take me to put it together?

I'm down with that. 😎

Okay, What's the plan? Are Cade and Kara going to scout around while Darien and Maya check out the bank? Where does that leave Ge'tal and Falmok?

Is the plan to do the armor attachment before or after the preliminary operations?

Cade and Kara could scout out the local bars, ask bartenders for the lay of the land, ("new in town, whats the local power structure like?") Darein and Ge'tal could "slum it" in concealed armor and Sunglasses/mini HUD's and act as "secret service" to Maya's 'highroller'.. Falmok might be too noticeable given his species, but could back up either party depending on how we wanted to play that...

( each group would have a melee and ranged fighter)

Alright, please go ahead and have them suggest their plan IC, then we can abstract Cade and Kara's exploits with a couple rolls, ready for narration once this scene has ended.

Perhaps Falmok could just guard the ship along with the droids?

@Tramp Graphics, where does Ge'tal fit into this?

Okay, first what sort of information in particular are you hoping for? This'll help me determine the difficulty.

The major players and groups.. Who has beef with who, who is allied with who, ect. (don't want to ruin our chances with future contracts if we've blacklisted ourselves)

If possible: personnel structure/composition (so we know how best to offer our services to fill any specialized need that potential clients are lacking..) ie: strong with gunmen, but lack skilled melee / infiltration specialists..

Okay, this'll be an Easy Streetwise check, but upgraded because of the potential to step on toes.

Cade's assistance adds a Boost.

Streetwise: : 2eA+1eP+1eD+1eB 1 failure, 4 advantage
a-a.pnga-a.pngp-a-a.pngd-f.pngb--.png

crud...

The difficulty was supposed to be upgraded: forgot a die: 1eC 0 successes, 1 threat

Are you in plainclothes or armor?

....Armor? o_0

With the three Advantage, you learn that the Black Sun is currently unhappy with certain Mandalorians, and you are approached by a representative of Gorka, who thinks that these Mandos may be potential allies.

He asks you if you are looking for work.

:)/😈

(I knew I should've played that ...nicer.)

let's see here...

"Possibly looking.. but apparently we've attracted Blacksun's attention.. We would hate to bring more trouble to Gorka over a misunderstanding"....

Alright, once the current scene finishes in the IC, we'll hash this out. It turned into more than just getting you a little bit of side information, and so will need more than just a little narration.

Should we go ahead and continue on with Maya and Darien?
