Kandosii Beroya'se OOC

By P-47 Thunderbolt, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire Beginner Game

@P-47 Thunderbolt, any specifics with Falmok/ Darien in IC? I assume his pistols are safe on the ship...

Unless Vhal/Maya forgot to pick them up, in which case they'd still be in the warehouse.

No worries, I’ve got a nice big list to write up when I get home, Including grabbing his weapons

Vambrace attachments are definitely available (no whistling birds though).

Add-ons like Rangefinders are available, but I'll have to adjudicate that on a case by case basis.

For weapons, I'll have to adjudicate it on a case-by-case basis, but most sights, barrels, and attachments you can just bolt on would be options.

Not many pistols, actually, as the Death Watch was really in the market for heavier weapons, but easy/cheap enough to pick up improved Ranged (Light) weapons later.

There is some general survival gear. Tents, thermal cloaks, a couple portable power generators, some scanner tech, etc. but I'm really just waiting on specific requests. i.e. Are there any [Company] [Alpha-numeric sequence] [widget]s? If you need to wait until you've got time to scan through some lists, that's fine. We can just gloss over looting and resolve it later OOC.

I’m not so much concerned with the shipment. I think it’s safe to say we’ll take anything we can from it that’s useful. Even something as simple as rations wouldn’t go amiss.

I’m more interested in the other bits lying around. Starting in the building with the bomb, I want to grab Darien’s weapons, the weapons the droids had, the droids themselves (broken or not. Spare parts are useful.)

I’d also like to take a few of the crates the explosives are in for further examination and potential use later on, and if possible make a schematic or other documentation of how the detonator and dead man’s switch is used.

If I remember correctly we killed some Death Watch, and at least one of them had a jet pack, so I’d like to take their armor (even if it’s damaged beyond use or salvaging,) and any potential jet packs lying around.

I’m not sure if we have the space for them, but I’d also like to take those downed Cloakshapes back to Vaerk’s junkyard for the potential of spare parts, and see if any of their weapon systems are salvageable.

I’d like to take the Inventory Droid for spare parts, and check its datapad and any nearby terminals for any information or correspondence between this group and the Death Watch, and see if there’s any useful information to be gained there about potential Death Watch bases/personnel/plans.

I’d also like to check the DW, and the Leader of the group, and the barracks for any additional information in that regard, as well as see if I can dig up info from datapads and determine the account the DW or group had access too, and if they had any credits we can siphon off. A trade was being made, so someone has access to credits or an account on this rock.

I want to check the communications array center, and see if there’s any record or logs of who these people dealt with, especially the DW.

And then lastly, I want to use a laser torch to burn a symbol of a Shriek Hawk into something in the area that will survive the explosion we’ll be setting off when we leave as a calling card.

Maya and Cade are going to be good friends! lol, Cade should've done that with Thorned Circle!

The droids are repairable/reprogrammable (each takes up 5 encumbrance).

Do you want the explosives, or just the crate they came in and the device?

You captured one Death Watch and currently have him imprisoned in the ship (he's down for the count). Darien is currently in possession of his Jetpack. The others all left.

The cloakshapes aren't salvageable, at least not with the equipment (or lack thereof) that you have.

I'll need a Hard Computers check to look for info on Death Watch (includes going through the comms center).

The leader of the gunrunners is very much dead, but you might be able to get something out of the Death Watch commando you captured.

From what you find, you surmise that any link to an account or payment the Death Watch had, left with them in their ship. It'll take a Daunting Computers check, Upgraded once and with 2 Setback, to hack into the gunrunners' account (from there, I'd treat it like a Slicing Encounter).

The calling card is a given. That would be part of your narration.

Cade did save the body of the head gunrunner, and plenty of dna on the windshield :D

Don’t want to salvage the Cloakshapes here, so much is just have a look at them and then load them up to take back, for scrap metal at the least.

As for the bomb, I don’t want the detonator since we’ll need that to blow the bomb when we leave. I just want to record the set up, possibly on her data pad, to be more familiar with it in the future and reproduce it later. I do want the explosives in the crates. Basically I want the ability to use some of those explosives to make a bomb for something later on.

Looks like Orokos is still down so I’ll make the checks once it’s back up.

Okay. Let's hold off on salvaging the cloakshapes until we've got an idea of how much encumbrance is left.

Consider the data recorded, and we'll figure out the details when it comes up again. How much of the explosives do you want? There are two varieties: the explosives in the small crate with the detonator, and the bigger crates (12 Encumbrance) with significantly more of a different variety.

The larger crates, probably about 3 of them.

Oof. That's a lot of your cargo capacity. (With the droids and 3 crates, that puts you to 51 of 60)

These are pretty big crates.

Is that Solus or Liberator cargo encumbrance?

Solus. Liberator is 30 times as much.

did you want to use the other program, and just post the results? (P-47 and I can vouch for you...)

Oh yeah, I don’t want to load that onto Solus. I want to wait for the liberator for all of that. The only thing i’d Want to take on Solus would be datapads.

@ShockHelix, you can stash some of your explosives in a corner of Liberator

(just don't blow up my ship, its part of Cade and Kara's retirement, lol)

@ShockHelix, is there anything in particular you want gear-wise?

@Tramp Graphics, is there anything in particular you want, either in gear or in more intangible items?

I'm primarily looking for armor attachments:

  • Beskar (Cortosis Weave), which everyone needs to make our suits proper Beskar'gam
  • Superior Armor Customization attachment
  • various sundry weapon attachments.

I haven't given too much thought about what exactly yet, the first two are my top priority.

The top two would be purchased as they aren't really clip-ons.

For the latter, I'd need specific requests, so you can get around to that when you're ready.

Crushgaunts ;)

I'm proceeding under the assumption that they don't have any uniquely Mandalorian gear since they were supplying Death Watch.

Aww :D

Cade is contacting Green with the data he's collected on our prisoners.. (hopefully they have something... otherwise Cade has no idea what to do with them.. other than release them into the woods prior to blowing up their base..)

He tells you that they've got nothing of much note on any of them, but there are warrants out on them in Mandalorian space. That said, you don't really have the passenger capacity for them, so turning them loose and letting the authorities know that there are wanted criminals running around in the woods isn't a terrible idea. (unless you want Liberator to pick them up)

meh, worth a try... notify the authorities I suppose..
