I believe I am all done now. Spent all of my XP (dipped into Sage for some extra grit), picked up some Force powers, and spent most of the credits. Any suggestions before I am "done done"?

You might want the Armour Inserts attachment ( Cyphers and Masks , Gadgets and Gear ) for your Concealing Robes, so as to add to your defences.

You might also want a fully-stocked Jedi Utility Belt ( Keeping the Peace , Rise of the Separatists ) instead of the regular Utility Belt. The JUB costs a lot more, but it also contains a lot of useful "miniaturised" items for no extra Encumbrance, including the Jedi Multi-Tool/Lightsabre Maintenance Kit (from the same sourcebooks; the item has two different names but we tend to use JMT).

You might want to try your hand at Alchemical Crafting ( Unlimited Power , the Mystic sourcebook). Most of the Jedi characters wear a self-crafted Protective Amulet.

Did you use the Lightsabre Crafting rules from Endless Vigil (the Sentinel sourcebook)?

I haven't checked your XP math, but did you remember to use the -5 XP "mentor discount" on each of the basic Force powers? (It can only be used on a Force power's basic form. It can only bring the cost down to a minimum of 5 XP, so it has no effect on the XP cost for Farsight.)

Also, one small correction: the Centre of Being talent only works against melee attacks, not all attacks. (It's the Supreme version, found on the Master tree, which upgrades the talent to work against ranged attacks too.)

My suggestions drop seek for now (you can get it later)

Drop one strength and optional one range upgrade on move and get hurl,

Get the force leap as a maneuver upgrade on enhance... that way 3 leaps in a round (maneuver, maneuver, action) gets you to "anywhere" in extreme range in 1 round (you have to be able to get there in 3 hops of medium range each)

Maybe put a little less xp in skills and get 2 ranks of discipline (attributes are a cheaper way to get good dice pools)

If you can manage skimp on other stuff enough to manage it, get the cheap (down the second from the left column, and over to the left at the 20 xp row) force rating talent which would put you at fr 4

Maybe you want concealing robes with armor inserts? Armor inserts are 450 xp I think... they're I cyphers and masks (aor spy book) if you want to start with a scar talent (last 2 pages of forged in battle, aor soldier book) I'd recommend a 10 xp sixth sense.

You've got 18000 credits to buy your gear including a lightsaber crystal (ilum crystal is free if you want it) I didn't check your credits... that might affect your choice of crystal.

@SuperWookie

When doing alchemical crafting, it's good to commit all but one of your force dice to avoid the nasty effects of rolling black pips. I like using the enhance upgrade to boost agility (you can commit multiple force dice to boost your agility by an equal number)

Btw you have 2 "missions" to rebuild your character.... to make up for having 1000 earned xp without the feedback from actual play to guide you on how to invest it.

I did take the force leap as maneuver on Enhance. The SWSheets doesn't really show which ones I picked very well :(

I didn't bother with armor inserts for the robes, since defense sources do not stack I thought? Getting 2 ranged defense currently from the lightsaber, while 3 defense in melee due to Niman and the lightsaber (all should stack since it says the weapon gets the ability). I'll be at 1k less credits then. The first post I read talking about Jedi starting credits was 19k, but I haven't gone over that at all. Had 3k+ left on my sheet I think.

Per the errata they stack but cap at 4.

@SuperWookie fully modded armor inserts and 2 ranks of defensive training gives you melee defense 4, ranged defense 2

Oh, I will go back and fix my Force power costs then, thanks! I am tweaking some right now anyways, so now is a good time.

Did Center of Being get errata? I just says attacks in my book.

You're probably thinking of the short talent description on the Niman specialisation tree in FaD. If you check the long talent description in the Talent chapter (ch. IV), then you'll see that it specifies melee attacks.

(It's always a good idea to check the long description.)

Wow, that mentor bonus freed up 20 points to use, thanks :)

I'll have 25 now, since I dropped one Strength upgrade on Move, and took Control to weaponize the power (per P-47 suggestion).

Wait, I suggested that? I don't think I did...

I suggested it.

Ah sorry. I supplicate myself earnestly.

With my 25 points, I will be able to get some ranks in Discipline now.

Picked up To the Death (25 XP), E2 on the Death Watch Warrior tree.

@EliasWindrider

Mireska will buy her third rank of Centre of Being (from the fourth row on the Niman tree) for 20 XP. That leaves her with 1 XP unspent.

I'll update this post when I've updated SWSheets and the PDFs on MediaFire.

ETA: SWSheets and MediaFire files have been updated now.

Discounted Force powers let me get 2 ranks in Discipline, and with my last 10 XP I will start on the Imbue Force power tree.

I liked the idea of that power and I could be a combat buffer in addition to using my Teacher specialization.

@EliasWindrider , are we going to do anything with Duty?

I was under the impression that we were, and so I saved some of it. If we aren't, can I just retroactively swap out the remaining 5 Duty for 5 XP? (I previously spent 5 Duty for +1,000 credits [speaking of which, I made a mistake and had it at +1,500. I need to adjust that])

Sorry I should have been paying more attention... what was your duty again and the campaign spanning character growth story arc associated with it?

Sabotage, and the story arc was unrelated.

There are a few clone wars episodes associated with sabotage... but I think we can work other stuff in... but you can take the 5 xp if you want and we can still do the sabotage duty... if you want to throw out ideas remind me to inject it that would be helpful... pandemic working from home with 2 young kids is distracting.

I've been proactively playing to his Duty. Taking out the shield generator, blowing up the buildings, and blowing up the lander were all related to Sabotage. I think the plan for the shield generator and the basic idea of the lander were both his ideas, while blowing up the buildings was another's suggestion, but one he carried out with aplomb.

Since I'm now the only one with Duty, I'll just take the XP. It'll be forever before I hit a contribution rank anyway.

When will Camo acquire more credits, or else be able to requisition particular equipment upgrades?
