How exactly do you want to handle this side quest? Will you tell me OOC to go ahead with an IC post when the timing is right?

Also, if I'm writing the IC post, I need if HO knows the value of his payment (particularly to a Force-sensitive who uses a lightsabre).

After you've returned rotta to jabba, jabba has said the republic can use hutt hyperspace lanes he'll tell his court to celebrate the return of his son it'd be rude to leave immediately so you plan to stay four an hour or two out of decorum to not offend him, honda approaches you during that period, he tells you exactly what it is but he thinks he's swindling you (he thinks the person he got it from swindled him). You write the ic post.

Updated pictures for Varactyl Squad (some of the XCOM 2 Clone Trooper mods got an update, so I adjusted some of their outfits).

Has shadow got the dark saber? If so Ker'see will challenge him for it.

Nope, just a glowy plasma blade.

Err...

Glowy, non-lightsaber , plasma blade.

XCOM doesn't have any vibroblades, so this is the closest I could get. :D

@EliasWindrider

Time for a brief trip to another exotic location ...

* Dangles our beloved GM off the roof of the Shanghai Tower and shakes him vigorously, while @P-47 Thunderbolt , @RuusMarev , and @MrTInce hold out nets to catch any XP that falls. *

Virtual Chinese food and fortune cookies afterwards for those who like the stuff!

:)

For Mireska: I have now spent 15 XP on the Increase Frequency upgrade (= 2 activations/session) to the Peerless Interception signature ability for the Jedi career.

After this purchase, Mireska has 3 unused XP.

When I've applied those changes to the MediaFire and SWSheets versions of Mireska, then I will update this post too. :)

ETA: MediaFire files and SWSheets have both been updated to reflect this week's XP purchase.

Time for a brief trip to a more natural location ...

* Dangles our beloved GM off the edge of Niagara Falls and shakes him vigorously, while @P-47 Thunderbolt , @RuusMarev , and @MrTInce hold out nets (on the deck of the Maid of the Mist ) to catch any XP that falls. *

Virtual hot dogs and ice cream afterwards for those who like the stuff!

@Bellona @MrTInce @P-47 Thunderbolt @RuusMarev get 6 xp.

Btw I've been to Niagara Falls multiple times. I got my PhD from the university of Buffalo. Niagara is the northern part of the metro Buffalo-Niagara region. It's basically suburbs with green trees starting in Amherst up through Buffalo. I met @Tramp Graphics at church in Amherst (the university at Buffalo's north campus is in Amherst)

We should be going out for wings at either Duff's or the Anchor bar. The local debate is which one of them has the best wings in Buffalo (and therefore the world). The Anchor bar invented Buffalo wings btw.

Purchased a rank of grit for 10 XP

* Dangles our beloved GM off the edge of Mosi-Oa-Tunya ("The Smoke that Thunders"), also known as Victoria Falls, and shakes him vigorously, while @P-47 Thunderbolt , @RuusMarev , and @MrTInce hold out nets carefully to catch any XP that falls. *

Virtual antelope steaks afterwards for those who like the stuff!

Well, since we're not getting any new clone PCs (I'm... so... ronery... so ronery... so ronery and sadry arone...), can I add a new ARF trooper to Varactyl Squad to fill out the roster? We're currently down to just four troopers and we need a new one anyway to replace Fury.

You can add a new one in the time skip after returning rotta to jabba

@EliasWindrider , how do you interpret the Clanker Killer talent? Do I pick the symbols to add after rolling, or before? I always interpreted it as before.

Before you roll, you remove the dice and declare what symbols you want to add to the results. Then you roll and add the symbols.

However, I have seen some say that you only remove the dice ahead of time and then choose after the roll how many of which symbols you want to add.

I don't know... but I would rather increase rather than decrease flexibility AFTER hypothetical dev clarification so let's keep it the way you originally interpreted it for now.

Sent a dev question, but don't hold your breath. I've sent two others in the last few months and gotten no response. I'm guessing FFG has washed their hands of it, but I don't think Edge is up for rules questions yet. *shrug*

Good Morning. Working on my character now (I crashed when I got home and slept way late so I didn't bother putting anything to paper/Internet when only half awake).

Starting XP is spent and now I am working on spending the 800 XP after that. The first 20 XP will be to pick up the second specialization of Niman Disciple since I want to be able to use a lightsaber with at least a modicum of ability.

It's 1000 earned xp, not 1000 total xp. It's a little higher now than at the beginning of the campaign so that you won't be too far behind the others.

I had 100 Starting XP, and was using up the 800 XP I saw from the first, few posts in this thread.

Should I be using 100 Starting, and then 1000 XP on top of that?

100+1,000= 1,100 total.

My progress so far: https://swsheets.com/c/2nea6pkej-chee-okee

I have 360 XP left. Still needing to buy Force powers, so will do that before increasing any more skills or thinking about a third specialization at all. cheeokee.txt

Decided to ask someone else as well, so here's the word from a professional editor regarding the grammatical structure of the description:

The "before" clause modifies the entire rest of the sentence. "Before rolling a combat check, the character may remove Boost and add equal Success."
They have an erroneous comma in there, but the sentence is so long they might have thought it was necessary even though technically it isn't.
The only reason there's any doubt about the "before" clause is because of that comma.
But since there is no subject noun following the comma, no actor given, the actor for "add Success/Advantage" is the same as the actor for "remove Boost." That makes them equivalent in the sentence, which means the clause that modifies "remove Boost" also modifies "add Success/Advantage": "before rolling a combat check" comes before both actions.
