Accelerate + Drive Into the city

2 Advantage for a High Speed Distraction (EV p.74)? Maybe another escaping racer forces Ari to veer away a bit? Mechanically, adds automatic 1 Threat to checks for remainder of encounter.

@Tramp Graphics
, if you check the ic the officer chasing you did spend a triumph to upgrade the difficulty of your next check:
Missed Upgrade
:
1eC
0 successes, 1 threat
That'll give you 2 success and 1 despair. The despair will be a minor collision with another speeder as you reach the town, so I will need a critical roll from you, +10 for any previous critical' s you have suffered.
@Edgehawk , that's fine with me.
In terms of the next set of checks:
@Tramp Graphics , you're next check will be with 1 setback, as you are entering the city now (due to the failed check beforehand).
@Edgehawk and @Jonas Shaaf , you have a choice now. If you separate one of you would be able to leave the chase altogether and make it back to the garage or their respective home.
You can either head further into the city (the checks will be harder, but it may be easier to lose them), or you can stick to the back streets (easier checks but probably harder to lose the chasers).

@Tramp Graphics , ok, that is a navigation system faliure, so you won't be able to use those until it is repaired.

Ok, though I don’t think a Swoop has that system anyway 🤔
@Tramp Graphics , you would have a basic navigation system to help finding your way around etc.
@Edgehawk , if you are planning to head for the city centre it will be a check with 2 setback. @Shlambate , you can try provide an assist again if you want.

What’s the check though?
@Shlambate , if you want to help navigate for @Edgehawk , it will be an average perception with a setback. That would provide a boost that can be added Zara's check. If you want to try and put off the chaser, a hard deception will do it, and that will add a setback to Ari's check.
@Jonas Shaaf , if you plan to go the same route as Zara I will need a check from you as well. If you plan to go the other way however I will need an average stealth check with a setback to see if you can get to wherever you are planning to go without being spotted by other members of corsec.
@Tramp Graphics , your check will only be with the one setback as you are heading into the city.

Just let me know when my turn comes up again. 😎
@Tramp Graphics , this isn't combat so initiative isn't active here, you can roll when ready.

@Tramp Graphics
, you missed the upgrade from the silhouette of the speeder:
Missed Challenge Dice
:
1eC
1 failure
This will replace the purple dice at the end of the roll. If you want you can use the advantage for a boost on your next check.
@Edgehawk , at medium range and in the city centre, if you want to can do an average stealth check with a boost and a setback to try and duck down an alley to avoid Ari, or you can keep on the chase. If you reach long range you will lose them without a stealth check.
Don't forget guys, you can actually choose what advantage does yourselves based on the core book or any of the relevant splat books.
Ok, that will be enough for you to hide in an alley. I'm going to wait till @Jonas Shaaf is able to post if he is following or turning off, and I am going to take this time to introduce @btmaja 's character (woo!). I will also be making an exception to the my usual rule regarding GMPC's, and I will be making a character for you guys as security (attached to @btmaja 's character as a sort of bodyguard). This will very much be a background character, designed to give you guys a little bit of muscle in combat scenarios. This means that you guys will be able focus on your areas of expertise instead of branching out to cover all areas.

Time to seduce the Corsec cop on my next turn. 😈 (watch Cannonball Run ) I'll need a charm difficulty.

y for the delay, I'll sort a post tomorrow.
@Jonas Shaaf , I do need to hear from you soon if you are to remain active.
@btmaja , feel free to introduce your character when ready.

Following Zara...
Driving
:
1eP+2eA+2eB+1eC+2eD+2eS
1 failure, 1 threat, 1 Triumph
I would mind using the Triumph to disengage from the chase... even if it means a low-grade bike accident to do it (might make for some good RP later). But you're the GM...
@Jonas Shaaf , in terms of the check, this would suggest that Ari was able to follow you, but if you want with the triumph I will say going off your idea you could bail off of the bike and try to get away on foot somewhere the speeder can't follow (you may have to find a way to get the bike back however).
@Tramp Graphics , your check will be a hard charm check with 2 setback. I will also be flipping a destiny point.

Seduce Corsec (Charm)
:
3eA+1eP+2eD+1eC+2eS

And add one Advantage on top of that for her pheromones. I use that to affect the other cop, as per page 116 of the F&D crb.
@Jonas Shaaf , let me know what you want to do in the chase when available.
@Rabobankrider , What do I have to get to actually get him to let me go? I already succeeded at the Charm check, which was specifically to get him to not arrest me.
