I had 3 earned Conflict already noted on Armatta's SWSheets (from the speeder theft/"borrowing"), but I see that it's now listed as 5 on the first page of the OOC.

Did we earn more Conflict at the spaceport that I missed noting down?

Yeah I didn’t know I had 4 I just rolled it I’m sure Rabo has just been tracking our actions. It must have been something Armatta did.

15 xp for mind trick control upgrade and another range upgrade. Net -2 Morality: Morality : 1d10-7 -2

edit to add: Destiny : 1eF 1 Dark Side

Yes, we are wrapping up here, so for escaping Corouscant you've all earnt 15xp and 3 duty!

At this point I'll have all of you please roll for destiny points as well.

As this is the end of the session I'll also need everyone to roll a d10 for your morality scores. I have tracked the conflict you've all earnt during the session. When you've updated your morality score, let me know and I'll reset your conflict.

...

XP noted and spent : Toughness (first row of Armourer tree), for 5 XP. Unspent XP = 10.

Duty +3 noted: total is now Research and Development 9.

Destiny Pool ...

Destiny roll : 1eF 1 Dark Side

Conflict earned was 5 3 (unless I'm told why the extra 2 Conflict suddenly appeared without an explanation or warning) , let's see what the conflict settlement roll brings ...

Post-Coruscant escape: Conflict settlement : 1d10 2

Armatta's current Morality drops from 59 to 56 .

Conflict settlement changed.

It makes sense for @Mikeyfett7 to do the Astrogation Check being that he has yellow dice,

I have been tracking morality, so currently it should be accurate. Some was earnt in the spaceport for the deceptions needed to get through non-violently (I know it's the lesser of two evils, but I'm afraid it still needed awarding. What I will do in the future is try to make it more notable when conflict has been awarded, so that everyone can clearly see where it's come from.

@Mikeyfett7 , I believe it's just you for the dp roll and conflict, and it looks like you're in charge of the map as well with an easy astrogation! If anyone wants they can assist with the check.

@Shlambate , to contact the Ascendancy you will need a long range communicator, which this ship would have. It's accessible from the cockpit or the main living area. If you want to you can try use it without the others noticing. It will be a stealth check vs any nosy characters perception.

That requires Nosy Padawans! @Rabobankrider

He will change into his armor first then he will attempt the stealth should anyone say they will be nosy.

Ok cool, @Shlambate if you want to roll for stealth just in case it is needed and when you're ready you can narrate trying to make contact.

Stealth : 2eA+1eB 3 successes, 2 advantage

Yup, sorry for the lateness, it has been a busy weekend for me. Lots of rolls, so here we go.

Morality Roll:

Morality Roll : 1d10 8

So he goes up in morality by 3 (if I interpreted that correctly).

As for the destiny point roll:

Destiny points : 1eF 2 Light Side
f-ls-ls.png

My first light side points! That should hopefully give us more to work with next session.

And lastly, Astrogation Check:

Easy Astrogation check : 1eD+2eA+1eP 0 successes, 5 advantage
d-th.png a-a-a.png a-a-a.png p-a-a.png

Of course, I probably should have seen this coming, and waited to see if someone could assist, but it seemed unlikely in the extreme that I wouldn't roll any success. My apologies. What exactly is the rule for converting advantage to success, or is that actually a thing? It really wouldn't look good if Silun can't navigate a simple trip to a known planet.

Also, I will spend 20 xp on a rank of Grit from my Starfighter Ace tree. That brings me tantalizingly close to a Dedication upgrade, another 20 xp and I'll have it.

@Mikeyfett7 I’m Zoroku in IC not @Shlambate lol. Good post though.

Picked Personnel Duty and updated character sheet with a bit more description:

Duty
Personnel- victory is won through fostering the those around you and their efforts. In war a Jedi won’t lost their way if it’s in service to those they fight with and for.

@Shlambate sorry, I knew I would do that at some point, I keep almost doing it to Armatta as well. I'll just edit it.

( Bolding above is mine.)

If by "deceptions" you mean the various lies told, then I disagree.

If we were stealing* a spaceship with the intent to sell it off somewhere else or use it to become pirates, then that would fall under "Lying for Personal Gain: The PC tells a lie for selfish reasons or to benefit himself. Some lies can be told without penalty to benefit others, such as avoiding a combat situation or protecting innocents." (Table 9-2: Common Conflict Point Penalties, FaD p. 324).

However, lying in this case should have fallen under the underlined section above.

Maybe the Conflict is for things like the spaceport uniforms which we borrowed, or being associated with a loose canon like Zalen (and the resultant property damage, however much we weren't expecting it).

Was the point of the whole exercise that we should earn Conflict, regardess of how bloodless or bloody an approach we took? That would be rather disappointing, particularly considering how much effort we put into pulling off "grand theft starship" without once entering combat or using any form of Coercion.

Regardless, I have now amended my "end of session" OOC post so as to note down the extra Conflict and include it in the Conflict settlement.

* We've already established that it actually wasn't a case of theft, as the spaceship belongs to the Jedi Order and it was the Senate who stole it from the Jedi in the first place by impounding it for no lawful reason. Unless the Jedi Council and other reliable sources have been lying to us all along?

I'm trying to figure out a duty for Silun, but don't even really know which game mechanic that is yet. Is that the Duty system found in Age of Rebellion that is similar to Morality?

Yes, it's the AoR's "responsibility game mechanic", like Obligation is to EotE and Morality is to FaD.

Like the other two game lines, the AoR career sourcebooks have extended the AoR list (and/or added variants to what's in AoR).

@Rabobankrider

How long will the trip to Cathar be?

(Assuming that we get out of Coruscant atmos without any problems.)

Armatta has a few things that she's like to do if there's travel time.

I would also like to know for healing purposes.

Does Zoroku still have Wounds from the Admiralty raid? :o

If we have the time, Armatta can use the Heal power on Zoroku. Five successful applications of Heal from her will heal 15 Wounds, which is the equivalent of 5 stimpacks (unless someone has an ability to increase the efficacy of stimpacks).

A successful Heal application counts towards the daily limit of 5 stimpacks/day, but doesn't use up a stimpack. I'm a firm believer in using renewable resources (like the Force) before using non-renewable ones that need to be purchased. :)

@Bellona Yes Zoroku was carrying 4 wounds through the whole get the ship adventure.

@Rabobankrider I think I'll go with Space Superiority for Silun's Duty.

@Mikeyfett7 , as this isn't a combat situation I'm going to say rather than have you roll astrogation till you pass, I'm going to count this as a success, but due to your route plotting it take a day longer than planned. With the advantage you do land bang on the edge of the system as you planned though, so that's a plus.

@Bellona I do see your point regarding the conflict, the reason it was rewarded is because even though it was done with good intention and to avoid combat, it does still have a negative impact on the people you had to steal from and deceive. However due to the good intentions as you mentioned the amount of conflict earnt was reduced for this. Unfortunately there will be some situations where conflict will be very difficult to avoid, and the best options for the players (assuming they want to) is to try and minimise conflict. As you guys are literal days away from the the jedi civil war, you guys will often be put into trying situations where you will have to deal with the 'lesser of two evils' type scenarios.

In regards to the ship, the senate can legally impound the vessel as the jedi are still civilians of the republic. It is probably a good moment to say that due to the mandalorian wars and the jedi's refusal to join, the senate and the republic have soured on the jedi over the last few years. Compared to the jedi of the clone wars, you guys are lacking the same level of authority. However that may well change with the upcoming war.

The ship itself has been impounded because of Karath's deception throwing suspicions on the jedi, combined with the appearance of Oola assassinating the admiral. While Karath still has support in the senate and the case is still open, the senate have tried to separate the jedi from the investigation, hence the need to break the ship out.

The trip to Cathar would be 7 days, but is going to take 8 total. For anyone with wounds and strain, you can recover 8 wounds and all strain. If you have any critical injuries you can make 1 resilience check (difficulty based on the crit) to try to remove 1.

If there is anything else you guys want to do you are welcome to. This may be a good chance to get to know your team-mates, most of you have only known each other for less than a day.

Assassinated!? Awww that's ********! 😤
