A few notes about the second encounter:

please do not take an item you are not going to immediately use. No need to waste time asking for an item from another player. If another player does have an item you want please make sure they are "finished" with it before you say you get it from them.

Please do not ask for a checks difficultly. Simply post what you are trying to do and I will either give a reply In Character or explain a required check.

We are no longer in structured time and everyone is free to act and SOCIALIZE!

You implied something special would be happening to Kilimar. Is that for now or something later?

I put it in the IC. Most likely a force foresee, though I don't know how familiar Kilimar is with them happening randomly.

Well he's used to precog visions all the time as his species gets them naturally, plus he used his foresee a good bit to stay ahead of any danger. So the woman he sees was a vision and not actually there. Ok, that colors my post significantly.

Also, I love the imagery of the Imperial bursting into loot as he falls down, like a boss mob in Diablo or something.

Lol yes, I wasn't sure how to explain all what he had on him and didn't want to deal with a "loot" check.

Kilimar has no interest in the blaster pistol, so anyone else with some skill in shooting things in the face, feel free to yoink it.

Just for future, I'm totally okay with you "piloting" my character if you ever want us to find something, or notice something that should be obvious and we're not getting it

I generally have a very loose hold on player agency.

Heh, it's more that I've tried 3 separate times in pbp to make a non-combat pc, and they keep fizzling out. I will do it darnit!

@KungFuFerret the code cylinder has a few basic functions for the terminal upstairs (I'll explain those in character), everything else is locked behind a password. You can try to hack password at with a computers check 5eD.

Nah, he's not that savvy with computers. He was hoping it would unlock any systems immediately in front of them. But he's hardly a slicer and won't bother trying to do so.

There are systems that will work with the code cylinder.

Can you edit latest post? Take out the last part about unplugging cylinder and I'll put in what you can access.

I generally have a very loose hold on player agency.

The best hint I can give is all of those items on the ground are helpful to some extent.

Just as an aside question, but in your version of Star Wars GM, how commonly known is Darth Vader? Is it a name we would readily know, like Jack the Ripper? Or would it not really mean anything to any of us.

I ask simply because opinions on this vary widely from person to person, and I want to tailor my "oh ****" response accordingly.

He's average build. You could wear the tunic but not over you armor (if you find it).

Jack the Ripper might be a good comparison. Nobody outside of high ranking officials know actual facts about him. Everyone else would have heard "ghost stories" at best. "Exaggerated" stories of him killing full battalions of rebellious cells, able to kill with a simple look, and basically being immortal.

Also, just checking, is the officer dead? I assumed so, but you know what happens when you assume...

Technically he's a Rival (or nemesis if I'm remembering wrong) class NPC and only exceeded his wounds threshold. Just like a PC he's alive but will be unconscious until his wounds are lowered.

That could change is someone doesnt stop the shistivastan.
