Single success. I will use my manoeuvre to power up my armour. The only relevant effects here are I now have a whopping 3 soak (!) and I now have to pay strain to make any more manoeuvres until I power down the armour again.

The thing seems to think it was stealthy but that mass moving through the dense foliage could be seen quite far off and heard even farther. It could be anything down here in this dank stinking part of the tree filled wilderness. Wild animals weren't her speciality, she powered up her Capacitive armour. Just in case.

And here words were taunting... very taunting! But nothing less he won't budge ether. This girl proofed worthy of him and he would acknowledge it by giving her a lecture!

Question. You are using your fists but I would like to spend the despair to 'damage a melee weapon the character is holding' can we say something like you swing a punch I duck and you punch a large rock breaking a bone in your wrist or somehow injuring your hand?

RAW would be that you can't damage my fist since it is no melee weapon I'm holding (one of the few advantages a brawler has since he can't mod his "weapons")
And to do real harm to me with a despair you would have to use parry and improved parry (which would cost you strain an doesn't do me a scratch.

and to cripple me you would need a crit on me.

then again I AM holding the sleeppack, so how about this:

I miss you and hit a rcok instead the sleeppack bursts in my hand and I gain half the strain damage it would have done to you (without me having the chance of making a resillence check to withstand its effekt. And I lose this pack of course for good.
(or you'll go for full strain but then I want to make the resilence check to withstand the neurotoxin)
