Go ahead @Imperial Stormtrooper
Jailbird and the Desperadoes OOC
Regarding the perception check.
Perception check
:
3eA+2eD
1 success
Since they see me, I'm going to try and yell out a bluff to make them disregard us so we can escape.
They didn't necessarily see you, they are more pointing at the ship.
Hmm, they might notice a lack of guards. So we can either take off as quickly as possible (and just deal with the fighters), or try to get permission to take off, but I can't think of a reason that wouldn't mean they're expecting us to head back to the Star Destroyer (which isn't bad per say).

Both options have risks, but I'm game for either. Jaycen would like to be off planet ASAP. if you've already rolled to start up the ship, we could just take off, and try and hyperjump as quickly as possible.
Edited by KungFuFerretYour ready to take off
Well I don't mind possibly shooting our way out.
Anyone else have a preference?
I'm game for whatever the group decides as a whole. Ship combat definitely could be fun but getting away "clean" is always a good option.
Taking off with an attempt at a bluff to give us time to calculate the hyperjump coordinates sounds good to me. Then if things go pear shaped we can use shooting as a backup.
for the bluff we could say something like "This is ISB agent Fowler here, I have commandeered this vessel to chase down a suspected traitor, I have the crew and my team on board. Your vessel will be returned shortly or my Commander will arrange a replacement. Thank you for your services to the Empire"
So the bluff plan is to ignore the people outside pointing at the ship, and direct the bluff over the comms so we don't get shot at? Just clarifying where the lie is being directed.
Edited by KungFuFerretI don't know if they would buy it, but it would probably confuse them enough for us to get a decent head start. I think we should try it.
I'm game too, anyone want to post up anything before Jaycen tries to BS his way past launch protocols?
I'll do something for getting the Sentinel up and running.
Since I would like to work it into my post, what position does everyone want? There's 3 Gunner positions plus Pilot and Co-Pilot, and there's 4 of us active, plus our 1 NPC so just enough for all the positions. I think that Caess would either Pilot or take one of the Gunner positions, and I think that our astromech would be most useful either co-piloting or jamming.
@KungFuFerret @Richardbuxton @DJCrazee
EDIT: or at least who the pilot is going to be, Caess is very good at gunnery, less so at piloting but I don't think we have anyone else with ranks in piloting space and only one character with 4 agility.
Edited by Imperial StormtrooperKaz has 3 Agility so can attempt any of those, but since getting away is important he is probably best leaving piloting to the expert. We will need someone to astrogate too. Kaz probably jumps on a gun.
Jaycen has 1 rank in Gunnery, due to his Imperial Basic Training, but he's far from great at it, only 2 Agility. He's got a 4 Int so he can muddle his way through astrogation if needed, or possibly do some Computer checks if we get into a ship fight, trying to spoof their systems and stuff. Anything related to Computers would be ideal for him, or Int in general. So possibly copilot for him? Especially if he's going to be trying to lie his way past the Imps.
Well Tychus has a chance to roll more successes and advantage, but Caess is only PC that has a chance to roll a triumph on a piloting check. Looking at the stellar terrain rules, the check could be up to 2eC+1eD plus any setbacks so I'm not sure who would be better at piloting... But I can't help but thinking it would look odd to see anyone but a human in those front two seats (which are the pilot and co-pilot seats if I recall correctly). Han Solo put it best "I don't think the Empire had Wookiees in mind when they designed her Chewie."
(Not that Caess is anywhere near as big as a Wookiee...)
So unless @DJCrazee objects Caess will man one of the guns, and let Tychus pilot the shuttle. If so I can edit.
Edited by Imperial StormtrooperI'm down with piloting, he's got no Space piloting but it can't be much different than a swoop bike from back home, right? Haha
So do we need to do our bluff now, or did you want to establish some of the new scene as we are taking off first?
Your choice
I would say bluff now, but it's up to you @KungFuFerret since your making the bluff.
Ok then, editing my last post accordingly.
And done.
Edited by KungFuFerretSo do I roll the deception now or do you want a counter-reply?
