I had a custom one made. The main issue is that symbol. I have only found a similar one in a Kolat site. Crossing fingers for seeing some single cards in tomorrow's update. More to create other kind of templates too.

Weren't they called the IRON Cranes? I might be misremembering, though...

The Iron Cranes were the Daidoji (the Harriers, specifically, IIRC).

Almost. the Iron Crane were the Daidoji specialised spear formation. The Harriers were a different formation.

Almost. The Iron Crane were IIRC an elite unite of Daidoji soldiers that served on the wall along side of the Crab. They learned a few things from the Crab, like wearing heavy armours efficiently or wielding heavy weapons across the field. There is a real bound between the Daidoji and the Crab, through many old stories, and the Crab respect the Daidoji very much.

After a few research, it seems like the term has been used both to describe the elite spearmen of the Daidoji, and the elite Daidoji troop trained with the Crab... *scratching his head*

Nah. Iroh was a general, yes, but he was also an incredibly talented Fire Bender, which loosely translated to Rokugan means a monk or a particularly martially talented shugenja, and given his philosophical beliefs, far more of a Phoenix or a Dragon. He never liked war, and after his son died, he grew to truly hate it.

As for the Kolat...ehhh. It fits a bit if you stretch it a lot. Iroh was a member of The White Lotus, a group that secretly tries to influence the world towards peace. the Kolat are far more like the group from the Legend of Korra - the Red Lotus. The Reds believe that nation-states are inherently tyrannical, and they are more than willing to use brutal methods to (as they view it) free human-kind from their oppressors, and let people reach their true potential.

I can make it with Mantis border if you prefer. If I could find a paintbrushed rooster mon, I could try making a border for it but seems unlikely and my painting skills are null beyond drawing some basic manga... in paper.

You did not say anything about being Unique but seemed fitting. Also, Dinasty deck.

I like the idea of still being able to play cards from broken provinces and perhaps having some cards that play on that.

I wanted to use the original art but the onyl image I found did not seem to scale well for this. Or could be my amateurish lack of skill. Yoko did seemm a good Shoan alternate though.
