Isnt that kinda too strong? The cost is a benefit, the result is a benefit, he ha s0 glory so doesnt care about dishonor, and has 6 mil for 3 fate...

There is already a character with the same stats and a better ability. My design is limited in the fact that the attacked province must have a holding in it, in order to work.

Yeah but you are rewarding paying the cost the use of the ability by depriving your opponent of a benefit. It literally costs me nothing except it being an opportunity to use this.

Exactly. That ability would make sense if it triggered when defending, so you have to destroy a holding you own or something along those lines

It works on both defense and attack so you could use it to blow up your own holding in order to not bow from resolution. Note also that this ability does not prevent it from bowing from other card effects or ring abilities.

The fact that if can use it on either offense or defense is the issue though. You get the best of both worlds and when used on offense you kill an opponents holding (breaking the standard cost mechanic that you can't pay costs with opponents cards) to gain an effect is super strong. Especially on such an aggressively stated body.

You mention it being similar in stats to other crabs but lets look at those Crabs:

Tainted Hero - Same stats and cost, can't naturally assign to conflicts unless you kill a body so has a downside for his benefits.

Butcher of the Fallen - costs 1 more fate, has rally keyword and a broken ability. Most players seem to be in agreement that its a super pushed card for Crab so not likely something that should be getting a "little" brother for.

If this card were to see play the cost would need to be changed to sacrifice a holding you control and likely its Military stat needs to drop to 3 or 4.
