That last one looks like an upgunned Gozanti.

Yeah, but what the hell are those trio of emplacements on port and starboard? It looks like a light turbolaser paired with a medium or heavy turbolaser? How does that work?!?

It could be a turbolaser (light or medium) with a heavy laser cannon in the same turret. They can't be fired at the same time, but this configuaration gives the gunner something to use while the turbolaser is in the down cycle of Slow-Firing.

If you look at other ships that this designer has done, you will note that the weapons mounted in a turret under the chin and on the dorsal turret in front of the communications array, are both twin light turbolasers. Thin but long barrels. He’s used the exact same design on multiple different ships.

However, if you look at the turrets on the dorsal surface of the port and starboard “wings”, one of them looks like it’s long and thin enough to be a light turbolaser, at least towards the tip of the barrel. It also has additional stuff around the base of the barrel — perhaps additional cooling fins or recoil compensators, or something else that might allow it to fire every round?

But that other weapon on the other side of that turret is much heavier — at least a medium if not a heavy turbolaser. And it definitely looks like it’s got additional cooling or recoil compensators towards the base of the barrel, too.

That’s just wacky.

To amend my prior post, it appears to be the artist's own interpretation of the Crusader . Notice his has a slightly wider body and lacks the odd "tubes" near the engines. That said, if it is supposed to be the Crusader, it's only carrying laser cannons. So maybe the laser cannons on the sides are singles with extended targeting arrays?

Okay, I posted a couple of questions on the page of the designer. He’s also got lots more views of the ship in question.

Okay, so now we have a response from the designer:

There aren’t any “heavy” turbolasers, in the sense of an ISD main gun – ships this size don’t have the power generation for it. The twins are light turbolasers. The flank batteries have a single light turbolaser paired with a heavy laser cannon – these are point-defense type mountings.

The front half is not designed to detach, but that is a potential point of modularity – the tube just connects the crew areas forward with the engineering section with main machinery and engines.

These look a lot like the, what are they called, TIE Hunters? Either way, they're incredibly awesome!

I really like this one. Is that an A-Wing back there?

Think so.
