That Shining Blade attachment is redoinkulous. Love it.

I can't wait to attach it to my opponent's units.

Bwahaha, yeah that's good. Altough luckily it's limited to Mobile units ;)

*Lets hope it doesn't work that way.

Dang boored, hey if you want I could send you Ragnar, Ku'gath and hopefully Aun'shi next week. Just let me know if I can be of any help.

Since I have some family in Australia I know the total costs would add up to quite a lot but I do think that multiple Packs would still be affordable... ...That said the version in US$ still is the cheapest.

I pay roughly around 11-15 euro's per Warpack.

speaking of: i got the first two expansion now!

gratz man! will get the 3rd one next week hopefully!

Boored: Blackmane has been in Australia for at least one month. Scourge has been in Australia for nearly two weeks. Perhaps the shops near you are behind the curve? There is no current supply shortage for either pack in Melbourne and I suspect the same would be true for the other capitals.

@ Adrencider:

thanks! I can't wait for mr. mobile tough! Not sure what allies to use tough: Tau or dark eldar. I'll prolly go for Tau...

what store in Melbourne and do they have a website?

Booored: Check my signature! There are lots of other shops in Melbourne as well. Google is your friend.

I'm a little confused about what some of you are saying about 'Mobile' isn't this done after command step and before any actual combat (step)? If so you won't be able to gather any more resource with that eldar warlord.

I believe you are correct, this warlord will not be part of the Command Struggle resolution at two planets, just one planet, like normal.

Mobile occurs before combat phase. The active player resolves all his mobile effects before the other player. This occurs even before reactions can trigger to the start of the phase, so that includes actions.

It dose mean you can collect with the command phase using warlord auto win vs non-warlords then jump to a new planet to kill off their units there by activating combat at the new location.

I would think this warlord could be used as a type of denial control where you can pick off your opponents weenie command gathering units with ease.

Mobile effects trigger at the start of the Combat Phase, prior to any action windows or combat rounds taking place.

As others have already noted, it does not allow you to win multiple planets during the command phase with your warlord.

With the new Eldar warlords reach blade of many planets, you can kill off all those pesky resource guys on another planet without even having to go there!

Yeah, that is exactly what I just said.

I'll see if I can make it clearer.

The command struggle occurs in its own complete phase, before the combat phase.

BUT, combat occurs at the planets with the warlord. So while mobile on a warlord dose not mean you can win two command struggles it dose mean that you can win a command struggle and then move to a adjacent planet and activate a combat struggle there during the combat phase. So in a way you are getting two uses out of the warlord that other warlords need to decide between. Command or initiate combat.

This could easily be used for denial of command bonuses against your opponent. You could send your warlord to either deny (win) where a player has a command weenie, and then jump to another planet were there is one of his command units and kill it.

This would be a massive swing. You gain a command reward, deny their command reward, as well as destroying another one of their command reward units.

Or auto win at a location that has no opposing unit and then move to where he has a command gain unit and kill it. Is another way to play. Playing this way would allow you to put your warlord on a planet between command units as the way to play around this would be to try and not use adjacent planets if possible. Also, the mobile would mean that you could escape a fight if you ran into their warlord at that in between planet

Even so I think the mobile ability isn't the kind of ability I like. I'm not saying it is not powerful, it is just telegraphed, so a smart player could play around it. Still I think dodging battle dmg on the warlord and denying command gains / killing command gain units looks to me to be this warlords thing.

Yep Mobile comes down to that. But the fact you can move around after Deployment means its able to dodge dangerous situations really well but still is able to win Command there provided the opposing Warlord comitted elsewhere.

Dangerous situations are planets stacked with units with 2+ Atk's.

Every Faction is going to get one of those 2+ atk with warlord units I think. Tau are the only ones with them atm, but Ethereals has the White Sun Bikers, which have it. I think the Tallharn Raiders is the AM equiv? I'm pretty sure you've posted up Ork and Eldar sneak peaks that have the same abilities as well.

I might be wrong but I still think this will be a 1 attack only.

Yep Mobile comes down to that.

i didn't intend to use it to win two command struggles, but sometimes you have a situation in wich you have a few good units in your HQ (and they have to tag along with your warlord to get back on a planet) so you now have to send your warlord to a hostile planet (were it will come under attack) to drop of his units. While you really want to just send him over to another planet with better resources.

with mobile it becomes "okay guys, have fun killing stuff, i'm gonna go farm on the planet next door!".

Yep, it's the kthxbai Warlord.

That will be one annoying warlord once he's pumped up with attachments. The Tau one is kind of a hit-and-run warlord not sure if I like him more then the other Tau warlord yet, Because the old one so far in are games hasn't even been killed yet other then bloodied. Place old warlord gain attachment 2 or less from hand or discard pile lol that really is nice ability! I've been able to one hit an opponents warlord or bloody him with him several times.

...can't wait to test new one out though.

...can't wait to test new one out though.

Be sure to test out both, they work very different from each other. Where Shadowsun likes quite long games to have a couple of units build up into insane units Aun'Shi has a much more aggressive strategy.

Have fun!

Cheers,
