It's really impressive Work... Have you ever though about making other vehicles? Like podracers, walkers, capital ships? ;)

For now, if you can't view it, you should still be able to Download it by going to File>>Download.

As for your question: yes, I have thought about making other vehicles. Podracers just seem too much of a niche thing to me (especially since they are almost always custom built), so I never considered it. Walkers and Speeders are on the list, and Capital Ships are on the docket after I see how they've been treated in AoR.

By the by, if you have requests for a particular ship, be it a fighter or random hauler, let me know and I'll see what I can come up with. I'm trying to refrain from capital ships at the moment, as we only have the few in Edge of the Empire and some scattered ones in Enter the Unknown. Not really enough of a collection to compare with and go stat-happy just yet. . .

I'd like to see the Deep-X Explorer, MRX-BR Pacifier and Mu-2 Shuttle. I know none of these sre technically freighters, but they're in the same general category.

I stated a couple more vehicles in my "some vehicles" thread. I would appreciate if you would check them out and critique/criticize them. I am certainly going to take into account you're previous advice when using the vehicles I stated earlier in my games.

And here I thought people weren't looking at this thread any longer!

The XS-800 is on my docket of ships to stat for my Freighter chapter. Work has been pretty brutal the past couple of weeks (not to mention getting snowed in without net access), so the chapter hasn't gotten very far.

I have seven more (including the XS) before I want to release that blob on everyone here on the forums (just like how I had a dozen starfighters to get this thread started). Some of them may be repeats from others, but still, it's something to get started with, ne?

I'm glad you think they are well thought out! I'll work on them whenever I can and get them out to everyone at some point. . .I hope ^^;

Cool cool, I've always wondered what they'd be stated out like, my friends and I always talk about it and try to come up with out own stats but they just feel like they fit right. Again Thanks for all the hard work you do it is amazing. ^.^

I haven't forgotten about the request on the Uglies, but I had to ease back a bit. I've been reviewing some work for a few people and it's put a damper on my design time. Not to mention I had to ask a former player of mine to send me the stats for the beta book X-Wing and Tie Interceptor so I could stat up the X-TIE and Z'ceptor.

That said, here's a little sneak at what my notebook has:

The TYE-Wing, also called the DYE-Wing, is a TIE cockpit with Y-Wing engines. This basically gets the Y-Wing's speed with a TIE's Hull, System Strain, and two cannons.

The Y-TIE is a much more formidable ship, as it gets the fuselage of a Y-Wing, including front cannons, missile launchers, shields and hyperdrive, but the wings and engines of a TIE fighter. The cannons of a TIE get mounted on the turret instead of the original Ion Cannons. It's faster than a Y-Wing, but not nearly as sturdy.

The X-TIE gets the fuselage and engines of an X-Wing with the wings of a TIE Fighter. This will probably be the Z-TIE with slightly better hull and shields and little else.

Now for my two favorites:

The Z'ceptor is an odd beast; it takes the fuselage of a Z-95, adds a space for an R2 unit on the nose, and keeps the engines and cannons. It then somehow inserts the fuselage into a TIE cockpit and mounts parts of the Interceptor wings for two more cannons. You basically get a ship with X-Wing firepower, but is still inferior. . .but interesting to look at!

The X-ceptor takes the best parts of both the X-Wing and TIE Interceptor. Take the fuselage (with missiles, astromech port, shields and hyperdrive) and the wings and cannons of an Interceptor and have at it. While not as sturdy as an X-Wing, you can get similar firepower and close to the same performance.

Other Uglies: The best part of Uglies is that you can do anything with them, like mounting insanely large weapons on them in exchange for reliability. I'm working on some "guidelines" for "Build Your Own Uglies," but this has been a slow process from when I started it MONTHS ago. . .

Time mostly. I have a document of Freighters sitting around, but I've been backlogged with a few things and I've been asked to review a few manuscripts; some gaming, some work related. I've also heard tell of some of the ships I have in my queue for Freighters are being statted in upcoming splatbooks and/or Age of Rebellion, so I've been holding off a bit.

Capital Ships are on hold due to the need of how they handle them in Age of Rebellion; as I lack the Beta (and I am not going to bug my old players to reiterate every detail I'm missing), I have to just wait patiently.

Land Vehicles were never really my forte, but they've come up from time to time. The only one that is solidly on my docket is the V-Wing Airspeeder; most of the others we would expect have already been statted when you think about it. We have speeder bikes and swoops, a few walkers, the T-16 Skyhopper, Snowspeeders, a smattering of random speeders, a Sandcrawler, and didn't Dangerous Covenants have some land vehicles and rules to "militarize" them? (I don't know it yet; waiting for my FLGS to get their shipment in before picking mine up.)

If you have a vehicle request, I will gladly add it to the queue and try to get it statted sooner rather than later. People have sent me odd requests for things like Prison Ships and various transports, so if there's one you really wanted, just ask!

Yes, but they are rather rough suggestions and if the GM isn't paying attention there's some nuances that can be missed (the militarized landspeeder for example stats out more like a repulsortank then an up armored humvee which isn't a problem as long as the GM wants a repulsortank).
