That's a good question. For me personally, RIW is just closer but that doesn't mean i wouldn't go out to Pop! anymore. I just need more notice before i could commit is all. Not to mention i can get away through the week easier then i can on the weekends...if that makes any sense at all? *shrug*

I've never had any complaints with them. But I haven't really given it any thought. To be fair, I rarely sit down while playing X wing. I'll pay more attention tomorrow to give you an answer.
Agreed. When playing, i'm usually standing as well so i can get a better overview of the play area. Not to mention i sit all day at work, so standing for a few won't kill me.
If i remember, the chairs aren't bad. I believe they have folding chairs, but they weren't your cheap ones that come in a box with a table...they were more of the good metal ones you see at school or a church event.

Nevermind, i can't make it now either. Wife is all sick or something, and i may need to take her to the ER if she doesn't start getting better.
Hopefully we can get something in next week as a last minute squad tweak for the Tourny on next Sunday.

Yeah I'm going to head up the event, and of course I'm going to play! One of the guys at the shop will be a secondary TO if the need arises. Though thus far I haven't come across any issues in the past. (Between knowing the rules, where to find them to show to my opponent, and basically playing to have fun rather than strict adherence in the case of "oops, I bumped your ship" type things)
Ok, talked to my boss and, assuming nothing last min comes up, I will be there this Thursday night and at the tournament on Sunday. Looking forward to finally dusting off my ships.
And never mind. At this rate I will be lucky to make the tournament.
Edited by ifandbutAlright, I'm 100% on for showing up on Thursday (and of course for Sunday). I'm going to be play testing with my new shiny wave 3 stuff, so expect a lot of mistakes and poor flying. Might as well make the mistakes tomorrow instead of Sunday.
Also, as of this past Sunday, RIW still had ~4 of each wave 3 ship in stock (and 10 shuttles). Don't know if anyone is still looking to pick any up or not.

I'm good on my own personal stock, but i'll ask around to my friends who may have been considering getting into the game.
You should sell it off after you participate in the tourney on Sunday. I'm good on my stuff too, but I can't help but think that your asking price is quite high.
Core: 40 -> 25 online (or 13 from Target)
Small exp: 15 -> 10 online
Large exp: 30 -> 20 online
Total: $310 -> $205 online
And then the misc Dice, cases, and foam, which costs something, but I wouldn't think more than 30 in resale value.
So basically, you're asking the same thing that local stores are selling for (and have most of it in stock except wave 1), but the stuff is used. I've seen your stuff and I know it's well cared for and might as well be MIB, but it doesn't change the fact that I could either support my FLGS or get it for ~$150 cheaper online.

Not sure I should drop this here but I'll give it a go.....
I play up in Port Huron at Cool City Games, we've got a large group of semi interested players in X-wing and I've been running a storyline campaign. The first part was a lead up to A New Hope and ended back in July and the new one will be starting in a few weeks. It will bridge from Hope to Jedi with a connected series of games (7-9 games). We will also be hosting a tournament in the near future. I just have to work out the details.
Until that all happens I'm also going to be running the Star Trek Attack Wing monthly scenarios. The 6 month Dominion Wars campaign. This will be held on the last Saturday of the month for the net 6 months.
