The air within the HQ vault was thicker than blood while almost everyone (or everyone who really matter at least) was waiting for the signal to return with a connection confirmation. When it did the pressure was gone as if it had never been there.
The mission was successful. The Rebellion just had opened a direct link into the Imperial comms structure. It was a win, a really good win but not enough to forget the answer that the special ops officer gave when was asked about the resources needed to achieve it while the mission was being discussed... ”too many”... let’s pray for that ”too many” to worth an “enough” defeating the Empire.
