THE MANDALORIAN, in a Civilized Age

By Imperial Advisor Arem Heshvaun, in Star Wars: Legion

I am sad he's being allowed to have anything to do with this series. Fingers crossed.

Yet half the Mandalorians in the Clone Wars and Rebels remove their helms. The continuity is too buggered for this to even be a thing honestly

Seeing as how it's the same guy (Filoni) involved in all three of those series, I imagine he has a reason for that change. Probably, as stated above, a cultural change because of the purge.

He could be playing Rex since the Ashoka rumours are pretty much legit.

I might be in a minority here, but I was hoping "The Way" meshed a little more closely with the Resol'nare/Six Actions.

How I see it is that the whole "The Way" style of Mando culture developed in the period of imperial rule as they regressed to a more strict, traditionalist form of culture. Picking up new bits like the "Helmet stays on" thing during the 20 or so years under the Empire.

Cultures shift and change in response to changing environments and survival needs, and since the Mandalorian "religion" seems to be have prohibited during the time of the Empire, what initially could have started off as a way to protect their identities during secret meetings and rituals could have eventually become a sacred tradition.

Helmets stay on until Mandalore is redeemed!

I always assumed Mandalore was destroyed during the Clone Wars when i was young. Then they actually gave us media depicting some of the destruction. There may not actually be anyone left on Mandalore or the planet may not even be habitable. In the CW series they all live in bubbles and on the moons because the planet is so decimated from previous conflict.

That’s good, tell another one!

I heard another rumor that the character might actually be Cobb Vanth. Or that might be speculation. But according to Aftermath , Vanth acquired the armor on Tatooine 4 years after Yavin, so before the Mandalorian .

The Mandalorian has been nominated for an Emmy for Best Drama Series

IGN is reporting that BOBA FETT and AHSOKA will indeed appear in Season 2.

Waiting on other sources to confirm.

But in truth, after what hit us in 2020, we NEED this.

When they create that 5th faction - - Scum and Villainy !

I'd be far more excited if they confirmed Rex rather than Boba, but I guess Boba was a must. I'm just curious if he'll be in flashbacks, or if Disney will finally decide that he survived RotJ after all.

In Mando-related news...my Razor Crest lego set arrives today. :D
