He exhales and rests back in the seat, the cushion squeaking alarmingly. "Thorned Circle isn't here, and there i'n't a direct connection. I've traced it back to 'em, though. I'll give you all the information when I have my daughter back."

Seeing that Kurak has calmed down, the other patron turns back to his companion.

The Devaronian starts fishing around in his coat, pulling out a knife, a snub-nosed blaster pistol, and a candy bar before pulling out a pad of flimsi and a pencil. He starts scribbling as he talks, hunching over the pad and shielding it with his right arm, apparently just his writing posture. "I got a 'runaway note' telling me I never spend enough time with her, et cetera. All bunk. I know 'er too well. All it's really there to do is give the brass an excuse to ignore it. Like I said, I've been warned to stay away from the syndicate and purchase three tickets for Taungsday. Consequences are implied, and given the company he keeps, killing her isn't the worst he could do." Here he stops, plunking down the pencil and looking up. He rips off the top page and slides it to the Mandalorians. "Description and sketch of D'avia. Don't want mistakes, we'll only get one good shot at this."

He then hunches back over and starts scribbling down notes on the next sheet. Cade takes a moment to examine the sketch and the notes scribbled next to it. Kurak is a surprisingly good sketch artist. 16, tan skin, dark brown hair streaked with white-dyed-purple, green eyes. 5'5, slight.

Cade's anger is simmering.. That... name is mentioned, but not currently here, or possibly involved? the Gall of this guy...

After a moment, he tears out another sheet. "The worst thing is, I know right where she is. Like I said: Informants. This is the hotel and the room, four-eighteen, and some names. It's a highrise, not far from the spaceport. Deals in a very particular type of 'room service.'" Here he gets nervous, tapping his pencil on the table and squirming, eliciting another squeal from the cushion. "This ain't exactly from the most reliable source. If she isn't in there when you bust in..." His jaw shifts around as he considers the consequences, then he refocuses. "The names are compl'cations and altern'tive sources of information." Pointing to each name on the list in order, "Mid-level goon, handles Griggs's dirty work. Prob'ly knows where D'avia is if she ain't in the room. This gal runs the hotel. If she's in a different room, she'll know. This is the cop they'll call when you show up. He's in the tank completely. Don't deal with him unless you've got no choice."

Cade scans the paper before passing it to Kara, What about muscle? What kind of trouble are we walking into?

"No telling. Griggs's guys are lighter on muscle than the other syndicates, but they've got enough to cause you problems if they stack 'em all on top of each other. Source didn't know."

Cade Sighed.. Alright..let's check it out..

Kara stops Cade with a hand on the shoulder. What about payment? she asks the Detective

"Thorned Circle not enough for you?"

Kara tilted her head in a really? look. You just said they ain't here, aruetii.. If they were, my man here would ensure it was a red smear on the pavement.. But you are asking that we make more enemies on this planet..-which is a cause we can get behind, trust me.. But munitions cost credits. Either you have intel on Thorned Circle, that can be verified.. or these chakaar have bankroll that we seize.

"That intel is good, and I know what you pulled out of Gorka's bank. But, if it'll help my case... You're looking for the rest of it. I can help you find it."

Done. Kara tells him. Find out about that and we'll see what we can do about these chakaar.

As they start to leave, he calls behind them, "You wanna know somethin' funny? My wife an' I had just decided to give up on Ord Mantell and go somewhere we might be able to have an effect. Not anymore. If- when you get her back, I'm sending her and 'er mother back to Devaron. I'm staying. Only way I'm leavin' this job is in a box. No one scares off Kurak Rijas."

Falmok switched over to a private link, Vod, the Thorned Circle has raised its head again.. Looks like Cade and Kara are on the warpath again, I will be bringing a local Detective that may help with the Bank situation, while The others handle the Circle.

Darien starts in his seat, "[Copy, Vhal'ika. Those chakaare? Guess it isn't surprising they'd be on Ord Mantell. Hopefully things don't get complicated. What's your ETA?]"

[We can be at the ship in a couple of minutes..] Falmok replied. Cade, I will take the Detective and join the others with the financial search.

Cade nodded, Good luck ner'vod. He motioned the others to follow, Let's crack some aruetii skulls.

"[Copy, we'll be waiting. I'll check with our new Mando friend... Ret'.]"

The large Devaronian shrugs and stands up. "That wa'n't the deal, Mando, but I'm game. Just get my daughter back." He follows Falmok back to the landing bay as Cade and the others head towards Worlport's main spaceport and the hotel.

In Solus, Dar knocks on the door of Maysh'la's quarters, "We've got a new lead... And a... complication of sorts. I'm gonna call our new burc'ya, see if he's ready. Then I'll fill you in on the details."

"Got it." Maya responds, "You going in beskar'gam, or plainclothes?"

"Beskar'gam. Covert is out the window, and all the better to put the fear of haran into whoever we find."

She laughs, "Agreed, though the best I can do is make you look intimidating by contrast."

"You'll be fine. Only thing more intimidating than three big Mandos is the little lady who can boss them around. Mando'ad ori'shya beskar'gam." He walks back to the lounge, pulling up Arno's frequency on his comm. "[Burc'ya, we've got a lead and are planning to head out soon. You got any loose ends that need tying up, or are you gonna be able to join us? What's your timing]"

Mando'ad ori'shya beskar'gam. = A Mandalorian is more than armor. @Barbaross41, Arno is clear to join them, travel shouldn't take more than 15 minutes or so. Gives Vhal time to get back to the ship and for everyone to get their kit together.

“Tion ni ve'ganir at akaanir?” Ge’tal asks gleefully.

I get to fight?

Kara patted Ge'tal's shoulder, pulling out a data pad and showed her the image of a circle covered in thorns. You see that image and you can kill every chakaaric hutuun wearing it.

Use your best judgement.. Cade advised. Thorned Circle are cowards, don't put it past them to use innocents as decoys...

Cade, Kara and Ge'tal made their way to the hotel.

When they arrived in the area, they paused in a shadowy alleyway to conduct a quick reconnaissance of the building and surrounding area. The building was about ten stories tall, they noted the obvious individuals acting as security and several others that looked like they were offering their services..

Osik, that's a tall building, Cade growled. Doing a door to door search is going to be a pain.

Kara nodded, as she scanned the building. That looks like the office over there.. we could try that first, if nothing else we might cut off any warning. She looked at Cade's repainted skull reflecting the neon lights, stylized eyes and nose across the helmets forehead, teeth lined the top and bottom of the eye slit in a grisly grin. She rapped a knuckle on it, Sooner or later this will make underworld thugs run...

Cade rose from his crouch, Then they'll die tired.. let's go.

The Mandalorians walk right up to the front door, walking briskly past the security and drawing several stares. When they enter the lobby and make straight for the manager's office, the concierge looks up and takes several hurried steps towards them as if to head them off, "Wait, you can't go in there..." he trails off, his brain catching up with his eyes and realizing these Mandos aren't likely to take "no" for an answer, whatever their business is.

Cade opened the door and walked in, finding a middle aged woman who matches the description provided by the Detective. We're from the Health department, here to conduct a health and welfare inspection..

"Who the he-alth inspectors? What? What in screaming blue blazes are you doing here?" She stands imperiously from her chair, fists clenched and leaning on the desk.

To continue to be in good health yourself, it would be advisable for you to verify there is a young woman named D'avia on these premises... Cade looked for a name plate on the desk. Miss.....?

"Leilani Yomaros." she says firmly. "I don't see that it's any business of yours. If we have anyone here under that name, I wouldn't tell you. We take client and employee confidentiality very seriously around here."

Leilani, Cade growled, As we understand the situation, she isn't an employee and her father would like her to come home... Now.
