Falmok considered for a moment, < We are searching for someone.. They would be a recent visitor we believe. Do you know where we can find them?>
Kandosii Beroya'se IC
The man strokes his chin, "<Who do you mean? And why do you look for him?>"
<Him.. so you know who we are looking for. > Falmok answered. < His people sent us to find him and bring him home..>
"<Maybe I do, maybe I don't. I have a hunch.>" He looks at Falmok suspiciously, but accepts his explanation. "<I'm afraid I can't help you, I don't know where he is.>"
He signals to the honor guard and turns to leave.
Vhalika, they're leaving.. Cade said, looking around. Did he say where the dar'jetti is?
No.. Falmok said, He says they do not know...
Hey, Kara yelled after the elder. Fal, did I get the understanding he might know? I heard the word that means thought, or idea.. ask him about the Sith wannabe pyramid.
Falmok raised his voice to the elder. <Would he be at the pyramid? His followers would be looking for him.>
"<This is not something I can help you with.>" he calls over his shoulder as he continues on, "<Do not ask for our help.>"
Well? Kara asked.
Falmok sighed, They will not help us.. Perhaps they are afraid?
ugh.. Cade gave an exasperated sigh. Alright.. let's go check out the shabla Sith monstrosity.
“Jor'ad ca'nara!” Ge’tal belts out gleefully.”
”Party time!”[\spoiler]
Cade touched Kara's shoulder, I know I can be..enthusiastic, but vod'ika cuyir dini'la.
Tell me about it... Kara agreed.

little sister is insane
Ge’tal looks at him quizzically. “Tion bal bic dush kebi?”
And that’s a bad thing?[\spoiler]
Cade gives her an exaggerated shrug, with his arms out wide. Gar cuyir gar, vod'ika.. He turns his attention back to Kara, Think we can tempt him to come with us of his own free will? Tell him Dooku himself is looking for an apprentice or something? Sith love their back stabbing apprentices.
Kara shrugged, Could work.. when Jetti fall, they tend to go that way..
Wu shook his head.
”No. It’ll be too obvious. The dark siders are... crafty. Sneaky.”
The male suddenly said, breaking his previous silence.
“Besides,” Ge’tal chimes in. “Where would be the fun in that?”
Kara gives Ge'tal a side look behind the visor, Hopefully it won't kill you vod'ika... she thinks as she leads the group towards the pyramid. The structure predictably is seemingly protected from scans, which is unsurprising if it truly is made by Darksiders. Their scans do show a group of individuals near the structure, just outside a cluster of small shack like buildings.
Every one be ready.. we have a crowd outside the pyramid... and surprise, scans can't penetrate the pyramid. She told them.
Falmok grumbled, Hate Sith.. stupid hidden secrets....
Cade rolled his head, cracking his neck. Let's be sure to blow it up on our way out....
As the group continues to approach, four young men step out into the open, all holding the same slugthrowers seen earlier at the village. They stand blocking the path, but their stance is not aggressive and they keep the weapons lowered. They seem to be waiting for the approaching outlanders to make the first move, hostile or otherwise.
Falmok holds up a hand in greeting, <Hello, can you help us? We are searching for someone..> He called. < His people are desperately trying to find him..>
One of the men (seemingly the leader) shakes his head and speaks in halting bocce, <Sorry, we can't.> He says something to the others in his native language and they reluctantly step aside, leaving the path open. Another four can be seen further down the path, standing directly next to the entrance to the temple, a simple triangular maw.
The leader gestures towards the doorway, "<Be careful.>" he says simply. It's hard to tell whether it's a warning or a threat, but he clearly isn't happy with the current arrangement.
<Is there a problem?> Falmok asked. <Why aren't you able to help?>
He freezes like a deer in headlights, but after a moment he says, "<We can't leave our posts. Let us do our job.>"
They are afraid of something.. they only want to do their jobs... Falmok told the others. I don't like this...
Cade slowly looked around. Neither do I.. I'm getting a feeling like my skin is crawling..
Kara nodded and shrugged. Sounds like Darksider influence to me.. Let's finish this and get out of here..
Wu nods to Kara, "Seconded. After you...?" he says as he gestures towards the dark mouth of the pyramid.
The leader yells to the men guarding the doorway and they step aside, leaving the way clear for the party to proceed. The triangular opening leads them down a set of stairs until they are well below ground level, ending in a squarish chamber. The inside is about as dark as the outside looks, and there is no lighting to speak of. Further, they quickly realize this building does not have a convenient entrance, like maybe a red carpet leading to a turbolift. Instead, it seems they will have to find their way through a labyrinth. Given the sheer size of the building, it is almost certainly a very big one.
Cade let out a heavy sigh, but despite the cavernous interior of the antechamber, did not echo off the walls.. The lack of echo seemed to bother Cade even more, he let out a string of expletives from several languages. Kriffing Sith with their sound deadening surfaces.. this place checks off every creepy box I've ever heard of these places...
Kara looked at him for a moment before turning on her glowrod and passing it along the floor and walls. The light shone bright in the room, but the surface didn't reflect the light.. it seemed to absorb it as it touched them. Kara tried to suppress a shudder. Cade was right, she thought. This is creepy
There! Falmok said excitedly, Footprints in the dust.. there is a pair that go further in than the ones in the entryway.. Looks like just the dar'jetti went further than this room.
Cade grumbled but walked forward to follow the prints, patting Ge'tal's shoulder as he drew his beskad. Oya verd'ika.
Wu looks around nervously, then shrugs and follows close behind the others, pistol in hand.
As the group follows the twists and turns and switchbacks, they grow ever more cognizant of the eerie nature of the structure, with even their footsteps sounding muted. Kara's glowrod flickers and she swears, smacking it a couple times with the palm of her hand. The beam steadies and she turns it back onto the path for Falmok.
After nearly two hours, they reach yet another turn in the labyrinth, and it opens onto a large, open room. Across the nearly thirty yards of space, a faintly glowing large pile of green, crystalline rock obstructs a door outlined in glowing red figures of undecipherable meanings.

“Oya!!!” She replies gleefully, drawing her own Beskad. “Jor'ad ca'nara!”
Party time!
Wu looks at the symbols and starts to move forwards to get a closer look, "I can't read them, but they look Sith. Though I guess that's kinda obvious." He shudders almost imperceptibly, having previously had bad experiences with objects inscribed with Sith writing.
Falmok looks at the greenish lumps uneasily, and realizes it's no rock. His eyes widen as he realizes it's a fully-grown rancor. The "rock" as it appeared in the dim lighting is its skin, and the crystalline protrusions are armor and protective spikes grafted onto its flesh in addition to the bony prominences some rancor naturally possess. It is hunched over, seemingly guarding the door, but he can't tell if it's awake, dead, or sleeping. At the very least, it isn't moving.
