On the way back to the ship, Maya stopped by the dealers she'd identified, buying grenade and blaster components from the black market dealer and electronic parts and durasteel plating from the mechanics store. She had a few things in mind on what she wanted to accomplish, but there wasn't enough time left in the day to get it all done. If they were going to drag out the killing Gorka, she'd have more time to prepare the weapons and gear they'd need to take him down. If not, then there wouldn't be much time at all.

Upon returning to the ship, she explained to Darien she'd be working on some gadgets and got to work with the components she'd purchased. The first step was improving her slicing gear. The Data breaker she'd bought would help, but Maya wanted to be certain there wasn't much more she could do. If they did assault Gorka head on, she might be able to hack the security of his building, potentially making things easier, or perhaps even turning security turrets on his guards.

The next goal was working on Ion Grenades. Between research on the Holonet and sketching out her own ideas, she quickly identified the key components in developing Ion grenades and put together a few of them. She'd need to test them to see if there was anything she could improve on, but they should serve simply enough to disable electronics. She eyed the security droid that was still 'standing guard' and wondered if it would be a suitable test subject. Perhaps another time.

Thank you Kymber, Kara says, putting warmth into her voice. Hope to see you soon. Kara turns to the driver, We'll be going to the spaceport area, you can drop us off nearby and we'll walk the rest of the way.

Before the driver could protest, Cade chimed in, We need to get our steps in. We haven't had a leg day in a while.

Ge'tal leaned over the driver's shoulder, whispering in his ear as they climbed in causing him to jump in his seat. Never skip leg day.

While Maya was just settling down to work on the ion grenades, Darien commed her, as the rest of the team was already gathered, eating. "Come to the common room. Green wants to talk to us." His voice was serious, but not particularly concerned. When she arrived, he turned on his holoprojector, casting an image of the Tipping Point logo over the table. Green's voice came in over the link, sounding very eager. "Hey! I know you're in the middle of something right now, but this is big. Separatist bounty on... get this... a Dark Jedi. They asked specifically for Mandalorians. After all, taking down Jedi is your guys' specialty, isn't it?" Not giving them time to respond, he hastily continued, "Says the target is holed up on some force-forsaken planet. Anyway, he's become a threat to them, and they want him captured if possible. Said there may be more work in the future for us if you make out okay. Here's the catch though. They're quite impatient, say it's imperative to neutralize him as quickly as possible. They're giving us a week. Unfortunately for you, you're on the other side of the galaxy and it'll take about three days for you to get there. Tomorrow is day one on the clock. You want the details?"

Star Wars week is 5 days. That gives you one day here, three days en route, and one day to finish the job

A darjetti? Cade asked letting out a chuckle, Look who's moving up in the world.

Kara leaned back in her seat with a low whistle.. I'm open for details, lets finish this job and move on..

Dar nods (not that Green can see) and says "Agreed. Now about this darjetti?" Green chuckles, "Good! So this guy's on Sharlissia, some rock off Kabal. Not much info I can give you on it, Trade Federation tried to start something there a couple hundred years ago, but whatever they started petered out and they pulled up stakes. Recently this... 'darjetti' settled there and has become a threat to the seps in that area. They want to- Ahh, you know the drill. Stability, safety, and security or somesuch. I had too much caf with dinner. Long day and soon-to-be long night. You shoulda-" At a grunt from Darien, he ends his soliloquy, "Anyway, here's the specifics: thirty-five thousand, with ten percent of that up-front. They want him alive, and they want you to retrieve an item. Says you'll know it when you see it. Then deliver him and it to a Providence-class over Kabal. Like I said, there's a timetable. You've got a week, day one is tomorrow. Sharlissia is about a three-and-a-half jaunt from where you are now, but if you've got a good astrogator, you ought to be able to get there faster. Always ways to cut corners. I rem- nevermind. Anyway, they want him alive and the... 'thingy' intact. If you kill him and don't get the thingy, pay is reduced significantly. Just fifteen k. Delivered dead with the thingy is twenty thou. Whaddya say? We got a deal?"

Agreed, Darien confirms, Give us a couple hours to finish up here and we'll head to Sharlissia. Send over the details on the Darjetti and anything you can about the artifact.

"Will do, should have it to you by morning. Good luck!"

Cade waited until Green signed off, I say we go in heavy, and don't stop at the security checkpoint, just push through, do the deed and get out... What kind of proof of death do we need?

Darien shrugged, "AV recording or holo-images are generally sufficient, but with a Hutt? Might be good to pick up a bioscan, if we can." He smirks, "Or Cade and Ge'tal can make sure the target is convincingly splattered across the wall."

If Gorka has security cameras in the unit I might be able to download the footage. Maybe disable any security on your way from the checkpoint to him if I can get in the system,” Maya chimed in, considering the risks of trying to take him head on.

Darien slowly nods, considering this. "From what you told me, Kara, it sounds like Gorka has his own controls of the system. If you're right about those security doors, the scan techs and the receptionist probably also have some controls, or at least a panic button. My guess is that there'd be a security control room somewhere. Keep an eye on the guests... fix the games." He shrugs. "How do you want to handle this? Buurenaar o'r tracy'uur tracyn'ir, ra keenir? Vhal, ner vod? Gar copaani haa'taylir nari? Haryc be te beskar'ade?"

Buurenaar o'r tracy'uur tracyn'ir, ra keenir? Vhal, ner vod? Gar copaani haa'taylir nari? Haryc be te beskar'ade? = Storm in blasters firing, or infiltrate? Vhal? You want to see some action? Tired of the droids?

Falmok's heels were tapping impatiently on the deck during the briefing, but immediately stopped as he perked up. Yes, please! Let's hurry up and hunt!

The group quickly assembled their gear, sharpened blades, fresh power packs in blasters.

Once preparations were completed, they headed out to the Casino.

The lights of Worlport are quite something to behold. The city has a thriving nightlife. The bright lights streaming from the Lady Fate Casino, more elegant than many of the establishments competitors, illuminate the generously broad sidewalk and smaller lights illuminate the walkway to the doors, which are guarded by a different pair of bouncers than the ones from earlier in the day. It isn't hard for the Mandalorians to get lost in the foot traffic as they approach. From down the street, they see a well-dressed couple wind through the red velvet rope walkway and up to the door, passing through into the vestibule after a moment with the bouncers.

Falmok tapped Dar's shoulder, Not that way, too bright.. too many civilians.. He brought out a satellite image of the building and pointed to an access door in an alleyway, There, looks like employee access.

Darien nodded, Ok, sounds good.

They made their way towards the side of the building and through the alley and reached the door without raising any alarms.

Once at the door, Maya knelt down by the control pad, looking around. It wasn’t too difficult to splice into the control pad, but as she sent a signal to open the door, it didn’t open at first. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up as she worried she had triggered an alarm, before realizing the connection to her gear was loose. She tightened it up and sent the door slid open, giving her a smile. “After you,” she said quietly with a grin, motioning with an arm for the others to enter.

"Let the slaughter begin."

Cade sighed.. It's: This is where the fun begins...

Kara swatted the back of Cade's helmet.

Darien peeked cautiously around the corner, glancing back and forth. He stepped in and waved to the others, pulling his carbine up to cover the hall. There is a wide sliding door in the wall directly across from the entrance. To the left, the hall terminates at a door, but to the right it turns just past what appears to be a closet. Darien whispers over comms, "All clear. No cams. Set for stun."

While she had the chance Maya ran a quick trace on the door panel before slipping inside and shutting the door behind them. The trace gave her three options for where the security hub could be, and if her intuition was correct she could guess which one it would be. Usually security hubs had their own office, and the other two options looked to be Gorka’s quarters and the front desk, neither of which would make very suitable candidates for secure record keeping and backups.

Security Office should be down these halls a way,” she whispered, getting back to the front. She carefully peaked around the corner, noticing a sweeping camera and ducked back behind the corner. “Camera. Rotating. Might be able to get underneath it if we’re quick enough.

Kara smacks Darein's shoulder plate, Race you ner'vod.. Kara glances around the corner and as soon as the camera's view point moved away from them Kara and Darien sprinted to the corner under the camera, getting there just before it passes back towards the others. Darien holds a finger to his visor where his mouth was, signaling for quiet and shrugged. Kara nodded her understanding, Darien wasn't sure if there was an audio pickup in the camera, better safe than sorry.

As Cade started to come around the corner, Darien held up his hand and Cade ducked back behind the corner as the camera panned back around. Kara gestured towards the door controls and Darien nodded, holding up his carbine. As the camera swung back towards the other hall, she stepped over and slapped the door controls. The door shot open, revealing a dark room full of screens, and five people seated around the room, two just to the left, wearing headsets and surrounded on three sides by a bank of screens. The other three against the opposite wall at their workstations.

Kara points her pistol into the room Everyone who wants to live on the floor now!

There was barely any hesitation as headsets are thrown in the air as the beings threw themselves onto the floor, interlacing their digits behind their heads. The fact that they calmly complied attested to how often this seemed to happen..

Really? Kara asked with a sigh. You all need to find another line of work. she said as she began zipcuffing them.

While Kara restrains the techs, Darien strides over to one of the banks of screens and sets down his carbine as he looks for the view from the camera outside the room. When he finds it, he hits the override to freeze it in place and comms out to the others, "You're all clear. Come on in." He glances around the room, taking in the large map of Worlport on the wall, lit with multiple pinpoints of light in different colors, and then his eyes settle on the door on the other end of the room.

As the rest of the group starts to move out, one of the doors slides open and a Duros starts to walk out, "What's goi- the kriff!?" He starts to fumble for the heavy blaster pistol on his hip as he steps back into the room.

Cade surges forward, slamming his forearm plates across the Duro's head before putting him in a headlock. Give up and you'll live to see tomorrow. Cade tells him.
