Ge’tal flashes her left pauldron, the one with the insignia of House Ordo. “I answer only to House Ordo, not Black Sun!” She responds defiantly. “You wanna make something of it?”

Then what are you doing on a BLACK SUN SHIP? He jabs a finger accusingly at Mesh'la Solus as the men behind him nervously finger their weapons and shift backwards slightly.

Cade starts tapping his bes'kad against his thigh plate menacingly. That , He states coldly, Is a Mandalorian manufactured and operated ship, hutuun. Do you see a Black Sun insignia? If you insult us any further, and I'll make the lady here a new pair of boots, suvarir?

He sneers and looks between Cade and Ge'tal, but he spins on his heel and signals to his men, who follow him out of the landing bay.

Cade pauses then looks down at Ge'tal. I think I messed up... I heard a story of Blacksun backstabbing mando'ade in the past, and my anger got the better of me...

"And here I was raring for some action," Ge'tal responds with a wicked gleam in her eye. "We could've taken them easily. Maybe next time."

Darien walks up behind them, "That could have gone better... could've also gone worse though. Sure we could have taken them, but then what? There are more of them. Lots more."

Caded nodded.. And now we'll have to watch our backs... He looked at Darien, Sorry ner vod.

He waves it off, " Ah, kih'parjai. We do have those Beskar'ade now, we can set them up to watch the ship. As for us? We're Mando'ade!"

“ Don’t get too excited, they still have a lot more programming before they’re combat ready, ” Maya said as she stepped out of the ship. “ For now all they can do is stand there and look menacing.”

She looked back at the ship, still cautious of leaving the beskar unattended. Perhaps it would have been better to leave it with Vaerk, but that’s have been one more delay in getting it made. She just had to take one step at a time and everything would be fine.

” I’m going to head out. I have a sort of. . Contact here, if I can find them. Somewhere over by the ‘Spice District’. I won’t be too long. ”

She’d hoped they wouldn’t catch onto that, but Maya hadn’t taken more then a few steps before Darien began insisting no one should go alone. She couldn’t blame him, the Spice District was notorious for being a criminal haven, as though the entire city wasn’t the same way. After Ge’tal had made her own announcement, it wasn’t long before Darien had divided them up into groups and everyone was on their way. She made small talk on the way, learning about the small run in with the Black Sun the others had had while Maya was still on board the ship. She also took the time to explain how she’d needed more. . Illicit hardware when she’d first started antagonizing the Death Watch.

She was surprised at how useful Darien proved at locating her ‘merchant’. She hadn’t expected him to be so knowledgeable on the streets but it paid off. Once they’d found the Besalisk merchant and confirmed he had what Maya was after, it had only been a matter of haggling the price down. That had nearly turned to bloodshed as he’d threaten to shoot them after Maya made a lower offer, but it had quickly been followed by a deep laugh from the merchant to defuse the situation. Maya still wasn’t certain if the Besalisk had been serious or not. Haggling out of the way, Maya found herself to be the proud new owner of a set of slicing gear, a Databreaker, and a few new dataspikes.

The journey back to the ship was much quicker without the need to hunt for their ‘target’, and Maya quickly deposited the extra dataspikes with the rest of her supplies on the ship. “ So ,” she began to ask Darien. “ Anything you wanted to do, or should we wait here for the others? ’

He shakes his head, Not really... Cubi'kad?

Maya shrugged. She hadn’t realized they had a board on the ship but then again she hadn’t explored it very much. “ If you think they’ll be gone long enough for a game, sure. ”

After a fairly short game in which Darien loses badly, the others returned from their shopping trip and they gathered in the common room.

"How'd it go? Are you ready to start in on the job?"

Kara smiled, Oya.

Where do we start? Cade asked.

" At the bank, " Maya said bluntly while stretching, feeling a bit overconfident after her victory in the game. " After looking around, it doesn't look like you have much in the way of surveillance equipment. I know you're probably used to going in guns blazing, but with the number of hunters that have already failed, we don't want to lose any of our heads. Those failures are only going to make things more difficult. We need to approach this job carefully. Plus, with what Green told us, the second his assets are vulnerable the government will take them for themselves. Which means we need to get those assets before we kill him. Hitting Gorka in the credits might be enough to get his security off balance if he can't pay them, and odds are he'll keep it as quiet as he can since he's housing other criminal organization's funds there. "

Kara let out a low whistle.. That's ambitious ner vod.. Can we pull that off without the hutuun finding out?

Cade slowly ran his beskad accross a whetstone as he listened to the plan, nodding his approval. I'm all for cutting off the Hutt's payroll, less people to go through before the prize at the end.. Especially considering our last couple of missions..

" Exactly, " Maya said as Cade approved. "U nless he has extra money stashed away somewhere. And even if he does, it'll still hurt him. Lot of people are going to be upset with him when they find out all their ill-gotten credits are gone. And besides that, it doesn't matter if he finds out. We're getting paid to kill him as well, remember? If he doesn't find out, we still cut off his funds. If he does find out, maybe it will spook him enough to make mistakes. Or even try to get off world. The only thing we need to be careful of is making sure we clear anything that might identify us once he's dead. We don't want anyone who was using his illegal bank coming after us when they realize they can't take revenge on the Hutt. "

Kara thought on that, That'll be the trick.. other than new paint jobs on our armor, we might have to ba'slan shev'la afterwards.. and see what kind of fallout there is.

Maya shrugged, not seeming too concerned. “ At the very least we should hit it at night. Since I’ve already been in the system, I may be able to disable the banks security long enough for us to do what we need and get out without the fear of anything getting in our way. It should be easier once I’m on site, and the new gear I’ve gotten will help out as well. First things first though, we need to see if we’re going to get a starting bonus for this job. So, who wants to accompany me to the bank? Passing one of you off as a bodyguard shouldn’t be overly difficult. ”

Darien signals with his hand, "I'll go with you. How do you want to handle this, plainclothes or beskar'gam?"

Kare crossed her arms and scowled, If you're going in plain clothes, I would recommend that you do it with concealed armor.. Last time we tried being clever, it didn't go very well...

Darien grimaced slightly, " Fair point... " He conceded, "We'll try and pick up some on the way over. We'll take it out of the group expense account. We've been needing to get some concealed armor for a while now anyway."

Cade paused sharpening his beskad, Kara and I can check out a couple of bars and businesses, act like we're new in town and looking to get the overall feel of the local underworld power structure.. Just so we don't step on anyones toes, as it were... Darien and Ge'tal can give Maya backup as Hired Help in concealed armor. That way both groups have Melee and Range coverage.. Falmok, sorry ner vod, but you are conspicuous no mater what we do here, can you stay behind and guard Solus with the droids?
