Cade sighs, draws his pistol and aims carefully at the fleeing Aqualish, slowly squeezing off a shot.

The bolt races across the distance and impacts his upperback along the spine, the impact throws the Aqualish forward, landing face down on the permacrete.

The Aqualish grunts at Ge'tal as the blade swings past his head and winds up for another strike. He swings the pipe around but Ge'tal catches the pipe on his Beskad, cutting it in half and rendering it useless.

Cade growls causing a rumbling distortion though the helmets speaker as he stalks towards the Comms building tapping his saber against armor.

Ge'tal growls at the thug in front of her before decaptiating him as well.

"Where'd everybody go?!" she yells, turning to see Cade take off towards the comms building, and racing after him. "Hey! Leave some for me!!!!"

No promises!! Cade calls back

As Cade approaches the building, he is unsettled by the quiet inside the building. As he cautiously approaches the door, he notices that it is ajar and as he brushes it open, he is greeted by an empty room, but he notices immediately that the rug is rumpled and he can just make out a seam in the floor, revealing a trapdoor.

Cade carefully uncovers the trapdoor and opens it.. To find a ladder leading into a tunnel.

Cade's shoulders sag Well, firfeck.... he sighs, climbing down the ladder. He follows the short tunnel to a large room with several empty cabinets, on the other side of the room is another tunnel.

“Scared of closed in spaces?” Ge’tal asks, coming up behind Cade. “It just means we can take them on one at a time.”

Cade almost glared at G'tal.. It also means they can do the same.. he indicates the empty weapon racks, And they could do some serious damage depending on what they had in here..

Cade goes to the next tunnel entrance and peaks around the corner before stepping in.

The tunnel is dimly lit, carved into the ground with wood beam supports. every so often, there is a light mounted on the wall, but they can only provide so much light. The tunnel goes for about 20 meters or so before turning sharply to the right.

“Exactly,” she replies, grinning. “All the more fun.”

Cade heads into the tunnel, getting just a few feet into it when hears a faint ***** sound.. oh, firfek.. G'tal. Wait-- he tried to warn her as she moved past, causing him to shift slightly..then he was lifted up and back in a cloud of smoke and dirt.

Ge’tal dashes forward, oblivious to the mine, which explodes beneath her.

After Cade recovers from the blast, he carefully surveys the area and locates likely positions of other mines. He indicates to Ge'tal the locations as he makes his way down the tunnel. He pauses then looks at her, tapping his helmet's ear cap, and holds up his fingers in a sequence of numbers, then taps his ear and face plate then points towards her.

Then he turns and continues down the tunnel.

"Hold up," she says. "If you hang back, I can blast the mines before we go down the hall."

Ge'tal takes cover and than takes aim, picking off the mines one at a time, clearing the hallway.

"Not exactly, subtle," she says. "But it works."

Cade and Ge'tal rush down the hallway, keeping their eyes open for more traps. After running a couple hundred yards, they see light up ahead where the tunnel opens up into a room. The guard at the entrance gives a shout and disappears back behind the wall as you can hear a running landspeeder, just out of sight. The motor revs and you hear some shouted orders, but can't make out what they were.

With an augmented roar thanks to his helmets speaker, Cade sprints to the Speeder, [Kara, there's a tunnel from the comm tower, He gasps between breaths, Red and I are out of the perimeter, About ten chakaare and a speeder!]

Reaching the speeder, Cade reaches his beskad inside and cutting a line across the chest of the driver.

Coming out of the hallway, Ge'tal sees one of the enemy on a Speeder. Taking aim with her Westar 35, she fires, barely missing, but totally freaking him out, making things significantly more difficult for him.

The driver yells in pain as Cade cuts him, and the goons with the carbines fire at Cade before running to board the speeder, but he ducks to the side as the shots wiz past his head. The driver yells, Don't hit me you idiots! Knock him off! Prompting the remaining goons to bum-rush Cade, attempting to wrestle him off. He kicks them back and all they manage to do is grab futilely at his leg.

The driver guns the motor and shoots out of the hangar.

The remaining goons with the LRBs open up on Ge'tal, pinning him down behind one of the supports in the tunnel.

With a savage cry, Cade stabs the driver through the throat and twists his wrist to pull the blade out, sending a spray of blood out to cover the windshield. Cade reaches for the controls and turns off the power to the speeders engines, taking the control key with him, tucking it into a pouch.

He turns to the chakaare in the back of the speeder, hitting his beskad against his armor. Tang-tang Who's next?!

They put up their hands, We surrender! Don't kill us!

Ge'tal takes aim at the thugs shooting at her and blasts one right in the head.

The goons return fire, but Ge'tal's cover is too much and they can't land a hit.

As the Tugs take a shot at Ge'tal, she ducks behind the wall, before taking another shot at them.
