Who are you looking for? We don't get many visitors out here. Last one crashed. No survivors.

Show me this crash site.
Follow us. They start to bank away towards the wreckage revealed by your earlier scans.
It is hard to make out the wreckage, but it clearly used to be a ship. It is badly burnt and mangled, but it might have once been a Kom'rk, though no identifiable markings are visible.
Darien turns to Cade, Cad'ika, can I borrow a jetpack?
Cade nods, Of course ner vod, it's in the cargo bay.
Darien pats his shoulder, Thanks.. Vhal'ika, grab your pack, we're getting a closer look. Kara--
Kara waved him out, Top cover, on it. Go.
Just then, the comm starts beeping. Darien takes one glance at the display and groans audibly, Di'kut! I forgot to tell Kyra we were leaving. Don't tell her anything, tell her I'll talk to her when I can, but don't tell her anything else. Kyra ven'kyr'amur ni.
Edited by P-47 ThunderboltKara grinned, Off you go!
In the cargo hold, Falmok helped Darien with the borrowed jetpack, as Cade waited at the hatch controls.
Ready? Kara's voice came over the intercom, De-accelerating in..3...2..1... go-go-go!
Darien and Falmok jump out of the hatch, just as Kara begins to accelerate again..
They jet down, landing neatly next to the crash site, though they have to make a quick adjustment in their throttle to compensate for the low gravity. Now that they are closer, they can see that it is, indeed, a Kom'rk. The cockpit's canopy had been jettisoned, but the cockpit itself was badly mangled and the seats were all but demolished.
The Cloakshapes circle overhead, always keeping a bead on Mesh'la Solus.
As they take a closer look they see blaster scoring on some of the wreckage and they notice that the pilot's seat is missing entirely, not just damaged. There is also a gaping hole in hull of the ship consistent with penetrative ordnance detonation.
Darien lets out a stream of curses over the comlink, Kara, she was shot down, but it looks like she ejected, start scanning for any sign of the seat or other debris.
After a minute Kara's voice comes back, Dar, I'm not picking up a beacon or any other wreckage, but there is a couple of patrols a couple of klicks north of your position.. I'll head down and pick you up.
Kara takes Solus in a rapid decent, decelerating long enough so Darien and Falmok can jet into the cargo bay and grab onto something before accelerating towards the north, scraping the tops of trees as they pass.
Where do you think you're going! Halt immediately!
Cade activated the comms, We are joining those search parties, which I'm guessing you were just about to tell us about. They are looking for the pilot of that craft, correct ? he growled.
You're asking for it! The comm channel switches off and the Cloakshapes fall in behind 'Solus launching a volley of Concussion Missiles. One hits, detonating and sending a shockwave through the ship, but does comparatively little damage, not hitting anywhere vital.
Cade half smiled, Did you just launch an attack on a ship conducting a peaceful rescue mission?!
You were warned, you are violating our airspace and threatening our patrols.
Kara shook her head, tsk, tsk..
Oh you di'kut. You committed your last act of stupidity! Cade promised, cinching his harness tighter. <hold on vode!>
Kara killed forward thrust and pulled back on the controls, flipping Solus over 180 degrees, pulling the triggers as soon as the system showed it had a lock on one of the fighters. She cheered as the beams converged, punching straight through the cockpit.
<Dar, Vhal, go-go-go!> Cade called over the comlink.
Seconds later Falmoks voice calls back. We're clear!
Kara pushed the throttle back up.
The other fighter veers off, firing a volley at 'Solus before turning and booking it back towards base.
Kara's eyes narrow, What? She calls over comms, Who said you could leave, We aren't finished yet. She puts the throttle forward, and in a surge of power accelerates toward the escaping fighter.
Cade, being pushed into his seat works on firing solutions. Almost have a lock Kar'ika!
Cade aims at the fighters midsection and opens fire. Most of the shots are grazing hits, burning furrows into the hull, but a couple score decent holes in the port wing, black smoke pours from the holes and lines of melting metal. But to Cade's frustration, the fighter is still airborne.
Oh for kriffin' sake, Die already! Kara growled, as she linked the cannons and fired. Blasting port wing, the rear supports and spoiler completely off the fighter, causing the remaining airframe to spiral out of control... Crashing into the forest's canopy, trailing black smoke.
Meanwhile, Darien and Falmok attempt to fly near a patrolling person and ensnare him in whipcords and fly away from the others... Both attempts fail initially, and Falmok pauses to make his second attempt, but only succeeds in ensnaring the tree next to his target. Firefek! He yells in frustration.
The nearest cluster of the patrol turns at the alarmed yells of their compatriot, Light 'im up! They pull up their blaster rifles and fire, hitting Falmok squarely.
Darien repositions slightly and fires a couple shots off at the patrol, but he is still unused to the jetpack and misses Gar shabuir!
