No, it was open, I stated so in an earlier IC post, but it was just mentioned briefly, so i don't blame you for missing it. Based on the amount of time the commando spent in the building, he didn't have time for more than opening the box and arming the bomb. The bomb would not be an issue if it wasn't armed, so it was just a precaution they took in the event they needed to destroy the stash/base.

Oh I see. I mistook the large box the wires were running into as the important one.
Ah. To clarify further, the small box contains the electronics/detonating mechanism etc. the big boxes have wires running through them, probably chaining more explosives.
(the small box also contains some explosives)
Edited by P-47 ThunderboltCare to have Darien direct her to the correct box then?
Keeping it Cool: 3eA+1eB+2eD+1eC 3 successes, 1 threat

Here’s the cool check.
Alright, you're fine, just take 1 Strain.
Darien and Falmok will follow the wires, doing so in either direction.
<---darien. [Main "bomb"] Falmok--->
Edited by RuusMarevOkay, they wind through the stack of crates, terminating at the back of the stack. As Darien rounds the side of the stack, he sees a small room further back, through a small hallway behind the next stack of boxes. (between the outside wall and the stack of crates)
Please go ahead and post IC, including whether or not you go over to the room.
So before my terrible dice roll, considering the imminent risk death and horrifying dismemberment, I have a new question. Could I disarm the dead man's switch portion of the trigger without trying to disarm the bomb entirely? As like, it's still a working bomb, but I'm just removing one of the ways to detonate it.
No, you have to basically disconnect the explosives from the triggering mechanism to defuse the bomb, so what you are describing is likely to detonate it because the triggering mechanism is still connected to the explosives.
(I'm no EOD tech, so some of this might be a little screwy)
Difficulty is Hard, Upgraded once.
Hmm, a droid eh?
Could this be an EOD droid and he can simply deactivate the device?
You could always ask...
So much for that. Do I notice anything in the other room?
@ShockHelix eyes only:
You are still able to work on defusing it. You notice a sliding sound, and then the clank of metallic feet approaching your position.
Darien may have to shoot first from now on... ![]()
Is there a check to shoot this thing to keep it from doing anything else?
Blowing everyone up.: 4eP+1eA+2eD+1eC 1 success, 1 advantage

No craters today. RNGesus has shown his mercy.
If you want to shoot it, the difficulty will be straight Easy, but please roll initiative.
Vigilance or Cool?
Ah, I was actually addressing Ruus, but we should all roll initiative. Vigilance for you and the Protocol (with an "O" on the end, not an "A" for the 15th time, seriously P-47, get it right) Droid, Cool for Darien and the security Droids. Falmok can roll Survival as per usual.
Initiative: 1eP+1eA 0 successes, 1 advantage
Glad that bit of luck held out long enough to get through disarming the bomb. We now return to your regularly scheduled programming, “No Successes.”
Protocol (rrg, again) Droid: Initiative: 1eA 1 success
Security Droid #1: Initiative: 1eP+1eA 0 successes, 2 advantage
Security Droid #2: Initiative: 1eP+1eA 0 successes, 4 advantage
Security Droid #3: Initiative: 1eP+1eA 3 successes, 1 advantage
Initiative (to be updated):
1) Falmok 3s3a
2) Security Droid 3s1a
3) Darien 2s1a
4) Protocol Droid 1s
5) Security Droid 4a
6) Security Droid 2a
7) Maysh'la Shryke 1a
Okay, Falmok is up.
I'm guessing Falmok either sees or can hear the security droids, correct?
If so, carbine attack... (unless he can treat his crit first.. if he hasn't already)
