Okay, Incidental to draw pistols, maneuver to Aim, Easy with 2 Setback and a Boost for Accurate. Do you want to take 2 Strain to Aim twice?
(by the way, it's called a "Dead Man's Switch" for a reason)

If you want to get into melee range, he isn't far enough off the ground yet that that isn't plausible.
Grapple , grab the switch and stab him?
You sure you want to pull it out of his hand? I'm trying to keep you guys alive here.
Stab him is Average with 1 Setback. Maneuver to engage. Trying to grapple him is Average and 2 Advantage or a Triumph triggers Ensnare.
just working out the best option...
If by some miracle Ensnare triggers, that's Darien keeping the switch pushed in, correct?
I guess, but I was largely referring to just trying to reel him in, not so much targeting the detonator. If you are going for the detonator, you have to make a Called Shot maneuver, adding 2 Setback.
whipcord? hmmm.. Aim, Whipcord. 2eD + 1eB, correct?
If you are targeting him, yes. If you are targeting the detonator, then you've got 2 Setback instead of 1 Boost.
What do you want to do with the 5 Advantage?
upgrade checks against Darien..?
Okay, normally that would require a Triumph, but in this case, if you want to spend all 5 Advantage, I'll accept it.
Please go ahead and post IC, then we'll continue on with this combat and switch back over to Falmok, Ge'tal, and the Barabel once Tramp is back.
Melee: 1eA+2eP+2eB+2eD 1 success, 2 advantage

That’s 7 damage before Soak. I use the two Advantages to inflict a Critical:
Critical hit against Barabel: 1d100 3
And with Vicious 3 that’s a 33, a Stinger. Increase the difficulty of the Barabel’s next attack by one.
Edited by Tramp GraphicsDeath Watch Commando:
Maneuver: Aim
Action: Flamethrower: Flame on!: 2eP+1eA+1eB+1eD+1eS 0 successes, 4 advantage

I forgot to upgrade it (replacing the Difficulty die): forgot a die: 1eC 1 failure
1 Success, 4 Advantage: deals 8 damage (counting Pierce) and with the 4 Advantage he'll trigger Burn 2 and a Crit: Critical Injury: 1d100 53 +30=83 - Winded: Until the end of the encounter, the target cannot voluntarily suffer Strain.
That finishes the first round. The commando has gone to start the 2nd round, so now we go to the Barabel:
Maneuver: Aim
Action: Melee: 2eP+2eA+3eB+3eD+1eS 2 successes, 5 advantage

He strikes again, I need to know if you are going to parry before I can spend advantage.
@Tramp Graphics I believe that Ge'tal is at 8 Strain for parrying twice (the 3rd time was recovered through Advantage) and taking 2 maneuvers in the same turn you attacked. Are you going to Parry this attack? It would put you at one below your ST.
I'll edit the IC post as needed, but I'm going to go ahead and post the Barabel's turn and then we'll go to Darien and Falmok.

The Barabel only hit me three times total including this one, the rest were misses, and all three hits were after I recovered all my Strain. The 2 Maneuvers were before that, and were to engage the human; so, with this Parry, I’d be at 9 Strain total.
EDIT: never mind, you’re right.
Edited by Tramp GraphicsOkay. 2 Advantage for a Setback to you, 1 Advantage for a Boost to next, and 2 Advantage for a Boost to the Barabel.
Darien's turn.
Let's try whipcord again... same pool?
Average with a Setback. Plus Boost from any aiming you want to do.
8 damage. Please go ahead and post his turn IC, then it's Vhal's turn.
What effect did it cause? He all tied up, or does it squeeze him?
You just sort of whacked him with it.
