@Tramp Graphics in the future, please tell me what you want to do and let me tell you the difficulty, because you don't necessarily know what applicable talents or weapon qualities the target has (or environmental effects, such as 2 Boost dice to all Brawn based checks). In this case, it doesn't make much of a difference, but the Barabel's Vibrosword has the Defensive 1 quality which would have added a Setback to that roll (and low gravity which would have added 2 Boost).

With the Threat just take 1 Strain.

Because you failed, you add a Setback to all checks for the remainder of the encounter. If you want to copy the signal, that will be a Hard Computers check with 1 Upgrade and 1 Setback.
