Are you going straight for the patrol? If so, I'll keep your initiative results and simply add the others. I'll also narrate your trip down. How close (personal scale range bands) do you want to be? They all take the same for Maneuvers.

With the 2 SS from the 2 Maneuvers to get down, Cade and Falmok's jetpacks will be at their SS threshold. Each PC has the eligibility to perform an Action, but that would mean taking 2 Strain each for the 2 Maneuvers (rather than giving up the action). Note that they would not be able to land (yet) because that would require a deceleration maneuver.

How big are the patrols?

(would Darien know the comm frequency that Maysh'la would be using?)

There are 8 in the patrol, it's basically a squad. They are fanned out, so none of them are at engaged range of each other.

Maysh'la is out of communication, so even if you had the frequency, you wouldn't be able to contact her.

What do you mean? Just pass the patrol by and go on ahead?

Yeah, assuming that if the patrol is still searching, then they haven't found her yet.... (unless they should land on a patroler and "ask".)

After thinking on it, I think D&F can land on/near one of the people at the edge of the formation, and see about getting intel. K&C can attempt to take out the last fighter unless it has gone full speed back to base.. otherwise, they can follow the path that the patrol is going and try to find her first.. If Mesh'la knows the Solus, she would most likely try and signal the ship... so, they are looking for smoke, shots in the air, reflective signaling.. ect.. ( moving about as slow as 15-30 mph...)

Okay, (I had thought Cade was with them, my bad) if they jump down to grab a guy, are you wanting to jet off with him? They are all within sight of each other, so you wouldn't be able to stealth it. The fighter is moving Southwest at speed 2 (your current speed). It is currently at Short range from you, just outside your range. If you want to chase it down, we'll enter a chase encounter. Both ships would be considered to be performing the Move maneuver, but because it is sort of outside regular structured time, I'll also say that they can perform a free Accelerate maneuver each round (Kara could perform a Punch It maneuver to get a significant speed advantage).

Maysh'la (you said Mesh'la by mistake :D) does know the ship, so that might work. I'll have to think about that part (what checks would be required, etc.). Something to consider, though, is that you have shown yourself to be a threat, so they might send more fighters after you (though shooting down the Cloakshape would remedy that).

Kara could use Shortcut.. maybe Full Throttle? then blow up the fighter... hopefully swing around and see about finding her..

D&F can fly by and whipcord their target, take him ahead of the patrol about a mile or two?

Okay! I hadn't even thought about Kara's talents, that makes it work really well!

Okay, Full throttle is an Action, so if you use Full Throttle (successfully) and then use Punch It, you will be going at Speed 6. Shortcut adds 1 Boost, if I'm not mistaken.

Let's resolve the chase and then come back to D&F.

Chase difficulty is Simple, Full Throttle (since you don't have Improved) is Hard. 'Solus will take 4 SS for Punch It, putting her right at her SST, though the Damage Control action (with Cade) may be able to mitigate that somewhat. I'll add a Boost to those checks for Chubbo's modifications.

It was actually 2 separate checks, but I'll interpret them together for ease.

Full Throttle: 2 Success, 2 Threat.
Chase (Simple Difficulty): 3 Success, 3 Advantage, 1 Triumph.

You caught up quite handedly, with the Triumph I'll give you the benefits of Stay on Target and Evasive Maneuvers (without the drawbacks). If you want to attack now, Cade's Gunnery Ability is Upgraded once, and the Difficulty is Average. Kara's turn is over for this round, but we'll be entering structured time after Cade since you have caught up.

Yup. You can Aim to add 1-2 Boost (depending on whether you aim twice [2 Strain] or not)
