Please narrate the medical care first, though.

ok

Who goes to which ships? Do you want to hire on the Elomin pilot? Do you want to try to recruit other crew members from the refugees, or cross that bridge when you come to it?

We can ask the Elomin if he would like to Captain the Croc, hopefully he can look past T&G's former employment history.

Kara would most likely ask.

For now, we could probably get by with Elomin and the 2 gunners in the Thorn.

Once everyone (who doesn't want a job) is unloaded, the Team will have to go through Claw, see if any interesting tech is salvageable, and info on Throned Circle (same with Thorn).

Okay, please post your offer to the Elomin IC and then we can get on with the scrounging.

Hmmm, how much should we offer..

Obviously a percentage of cargo runs... probably hazard pay for combat missions. Plus bonuses, (like the disabled ship bonus form this mission)

Are you looking for suggestion, or just thinking about it? Costs of living would be covered as a result of living on the ship so room and board would already be calculated in.

Kinda thinking about it, and asking for suggestions.

(I guess we'll have to get a cargo run and see how much we can get :D )

I'd rather not actually try to run a side business for you, so I'm going to give you a couple options: a somewhat fluctuating monthly/weekly (not sure) income, or a ship on call for your bounty hunting missions. Minimum crew for the C-ROC is one, and aside from the pilot, you just need a couple gunners.

You might potentially be able to pick both, but the profit would be hampered and there is a chance that the ship wouldn't be available for various ops as a result of being engaged on a cargo run.

As far as suggestions go, if you want to keep the ship on hand, I'd suggest maybe 400 credits a month for the pilot and 200 for the gunners as entry level pay. Those numbers would change (behind the scenes, I'd simply automatically cut it out of your profit) if they were doing cargo transport.

Ugh... I've been thinking on this all weekend, and I see where you're coming from. I probably jumped the gun on grand plans that the group and individual characters are not ready for.

Especially since Darien very likely wouldn't give up his ship and there aren't enough characters to crew two ships adequately.

So, I propose that the team retitle the two captured ships and sell both and use a decent amount to upgrade the Lancer. Upgrade the weapons and sensors, plus any updates that Darien will want done.

(Considering how the current missions went down, an astromech and med droid would be very beneficial for the team going forward)

Well (especially considering that you offered the guy a job) I'm fine with you keeping the ship on hand. Especially since the amount garnered would be more than enough to upgrade the lancer.

As far as crew goes, you could hire more.

Selling the Aurore would get you a good bundle of creds, enough to probably complete the upgrades and get a couple droids.

One other option is to take it to haven where it could be used as a PDF ship which you could probably occasionally call on for assistance. Possibly also burn some Obligation.

If you want to sell both, that's fine, I just want you to have all your options available to you.

Do you want to screen wipe till he finishes the inventory? Or do you want the characters to do more?

Oh, I like the Haven option!

How would you want to handle that in conjunction with the crew you just hired on?

As of this moment, I'm thinking that it could be set up like a Reserve/National Guard military unit.

They have jobs that give them flexibility in the event that the team calls, they are ready and able to respond. Their jobs would correspond with "the off season" and are on call during the times the team is out hunting.

(Like if we take on more live captures than our facilities can accommodate, like the Pike mission. And if we have additional PC's incoming, we wont have the option of using unused bunks as we did then.)

So picking the "both" option? Where they produce some supplementary income for you, but can be called up for aid?

One thing to keep in mind is travel distance, you'd generally have to plan ahead if you want them available, it would be hard to call them in mid-mission unless you were close by.

True.

Is that your decision? Should I go ahead and start cooking up numbers? In the bounty hunting season, what is your intention for them? Continue to do their jobs, and just be more on-call, or finish whatever they've got going and more-or-less follow you around?

( I'm going to say that Falmok and the gunners have done the same inventory of the C-ROC, minus the gunners effects. They all can meet together in the C-ROC briefing room-basing that in the gozanti deck plan- they can discuss the items, meet with the Ranger, hand over the items, the future of the two captured ships... )

Alright, please go ahead and call the meeting IC.

Please go ahead and have Darien propose their next move (unless there is anything that you want to transpire first).

Anything to say before Lyn returns?

... I don't believe so, I think they would like to know exactly what they are turning over to the Rangers. That way, we will (hopefully) know who else we are dealing with besides Thorned Circle.

Do we recognize the items?

Are we able to access the data using Liberator or the YV?

To identify the armor/weapons, please make an Average Knowledge (Underworld) check with 1 Boost. Breaking into the datapad would take a Hard Computers check (upgraded twice) with 1 Setback. It cannot be accessed through the ships' systems.
