Kandosii Beroya'se OOC

By P-47 Thunderbolt, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire Beginner Game

Kraggen's Barrel Ale House

Owner is a Quarren

You want to narrate the trip? I'll narrate the interior.

Now would be a pretty good time to give XP:

Darien: 15
Cade: 20
Kara: 15
Falmok: 15

15 for the mission, and 5 for Cade's motivation and contribution.

Bounty Hunter Exploit options (pick one):
(Applies to the party as a whole, and anyone who joins the party)

Indiscriminate (killed at least 3 people while in pursuit of the bounty): Adds a Boost to Coercion checks against minion NPCs, but adds a Setback to Charm and Deception checks to convince others that you have non-violent intentions (even when you do).
Lawbringer (the target was a member of a crime syndicate, an outlaw at large, or otherwise part of the galactic underworld): Add 10% of bounty value on bounties posted by law enforcement groups (only on contractual bounties), but adds a Setback to Negotiation checks with criminal organizations or people indebted to said organizations.
Professional (the target was delivered within 3 days): The bounty hunter may request up to 10% of the bounty as an advance.

I'm going to spend it for Darien (Toughened on Commando, saving the rest).

For Falmok, I suggest going for 10 xp for the first rank in Medicine.

Oh man... tough decision... I think Professional would be the safest choice.. (do you have a preference, or if the incoming PC's have any thoughts..?)

Medicine would be very helpful! :D (I also came across Athakam Medtech Military Medpac, Gives you 1 rank of medicine, only if you don't already have any.. could be very useful to any non-medic PC. Also an SBD series Assistance and Rescue droid. In my shopping ideas.)

I'm going to look at Cade and Kara's sheets when I get home and make decisions on their skill/talents.

I don't have a preference for exploits, it's up to you.

Please make an Average group Knowledge (Xenology) check (YGGB).

: 2eA+1eP+1eB 1 success, 5 advantage
a-s.pnga-a.pngp-a-a.pngb-a-a.png

You forgot the difficulty: forgot a die: 2eD 0 successes, 2 threat
d-th.pngd-th.png

Okay, nice! The creature is an adult male Chadra-fan, very gregarious and irrepressible people, but if they are alone for too long, they can actually die of loneliness. Your roll is good enough that I'll say the characters basically know all the general information about Chadra-fans.

Please feel free to voice Falmok and Darien for this scene.

(Kara and Cade are now upgraded. Kara upgraded Piloting p&s, Cade Upgraded Melee, Frenzied Attack) They just need some shopping.

A few reports of shipping raids in this area, recent hits were in the Vindalia, Diamal, and Giju systems.

Are you looking for any particular details?

Cade will add the info about a circular tattoo, and search Bounty boards/ Law enforcement alerts...( and ask where this happened)

"Circular tattoo" is far too vague for you to pin down anything, and Taskar can't ID it because he just remembers that there was some sort of circular tattoo, he doesn't remember what it looked like.

Remember, Darien is a father himself. I'm not sure where you are going with this, but Darien is most certainly not heartless, particularly when kids are concerned.

Not trying to play it that way, he fully realizes Tastar is very likely penniless, he was just a little curious. Cade is about to ask to do it pro bono.. Darien is going to inquire about bounties to Green. Kara is starting get a bit furious.. Cade and Kara have that vengeance tendency towards slavers...

Before the team departs, I'm guessing your PC's need to pick up some supplies.. As do mine. Where would be the best place to go?

Couple options, narrate it as "before they left, they went shopping!" or "first we went to X, but they only had some of what we needed, so then we went to Y." I would suggest the former, but if you want, we can do the latter. You're the player, after all. Darien is the only one I'm going to exercise control over for XP/Purchases, and I'll make suggestions for Falmok, but I would leave you in charge of Falmok for the most part (he's gonna want to pick up a LOT of stimpacks by the way. He started with 10 and now has 0).

We'll have to do the shopping OOC before we narrate it at any rate, so you can decide how you want to do it farther down the line.

And speaking of suggestions, a Rangefinder would be useful for Falmok, allowing him to fire his carbine (with a telescopic optical sight) up to extreme range. 1,500, 1 HP, base Rarity of 6 (which makes it unlikely that you'd be able to find it).

Abregado-rae is a Core World, so base rarity is reduced by 1.

We'll go with "and then they went shopping".. I'm planning on having C&K each purchasing: 4x binders (100), 4x stimpack (100), 2x stun grenade (150). (350 Cade/ 350 Kara)

Cade will attempt to purchase a quality Blaster pistol (range light), have Blast Knuckles repaired. (I'll have to look at armor attachments as well.. Falmok's capabilities convinced C&K they need to upgrade)

Kara would also like to purchase a jetpack. ( that ambush in the ally convinced her they need air support)

The binders and stimpacks have a rarity of -1, so no check is necessary for them, but Stun grenades have a rarity of 3, so please make an Easy Negotiation check.

Cade has the Pyke blaster (you could put it in the trophy case, I guess), but if he wants a less recognizable weapon, a regular blaster pistol has a rarity of 3 (Easy) and is 400 credits. A heavy blaster pistol has a rarity of 5 (Average) and is 700 credits.

All of these jetpacks have a rarity of 6 (Hard), so you aren't likely to be able to find them, but the Z-6 (attached missile) is 5,250, the JT-12C (no missile, modifiable to have one [GM discretion]) is 4,750, a civilian model jetpack (no missile, not modifiable to have one) is 4,500.

I'll add a Boost to all Negotiation (or Streetwise for restricted items) checks made to find items because Abregado-rae has a lot of black market activity and therefore greater supply.

Negotiation difficulty to repair blast knuckles is equal to their rarity (with the -1 modifier), cost is equal to 50% their base value.

Reminder, Falmok is out of micro-rockets (which are 600 [R]).

Okay, I couldn't find any mention of the passenger ship Anakin and Padme were on in Episode II on Wookieepedia, but that ship is what I'm picturing.

Kara streetwise

Grenade check

: 2eA+1eP+1eB+1eD 0 successes, 2 advantage

Jetpack

: 2eA+1eP+1eB+3eD 1 failure, 2 advantage

Blast Knuckle repair....

: 2eA+1eP+1eB+3eD 4 successes, 2 advantage
a-s.pnga-a-a.pngp-s-s.pngb-s-a.pngd-th.pngd--.pngd--.png

huh...

I'll say that you find frag grenades, but they're all out of stun grenades.

No jetpacks, unfortunately.

You find someone who will repair your blast knuckles, and they can do it cheaply, for only 400 credits.

Did some more checking, apparently it was a deleted scene, so probably can't find the name of the ship anywhere.
