there we go, I was struggling to remember the right term, lol :D

Ok, so we shouldn't have to worry about the gunmen coming from behind. Falmok will still want to prioritize getting Kymber secured... either he or arno should try and take out the other gunman in the speeder...alive if possible.

My plan for Kara was to have her use the taxi to block the alley entrance like a defensive barrier.. (possibly take over the Kymber speeder and ferry them all to Solus. (Falmok and Arno could fly cover..)

Okay, that's fine. She'll be able to get 1 round closer, still 2 rounds out. Go ahead and post IC, then I'll resolve the remaining gangsters.

Goon:
Maneuver: Hop into the driver's seat
Second Maneuver: Shove the body out of the way (flavored version of Take Cover, adding a Setback of cover)

Drivers:
Maneuver: Move to Short range (Planetary-scale)

Klatooinian:
Maneuver: Aim
Action: Shoot the speeder again: Shooting at the speeder: 2eP+1eA+1eB+1eD 1 success, 4 advantage, 1 Triumph
p-a-a.pngp-tr.pnga-s-s.pngb-a-a.pngd-f-f.png

Triggers a crit+10, +20 for prior crits: Critical Hit: 1d100 46 76 = Power Fluctuations again, so no change.

Arno:
Maneuver: Called Shot Aim
Action: Shoot at the driver: Shooting at the speeder: 2eP+2eA+1eB+1eD+2eS 3 successes, 2 advantage
p-s-a.pngp-a-a.pnga-s.pnga-s-s.pngb--.pngd-th.pngs--.pngs-f.png

Triggers linked for 2 Advantage, but doesn't deal enough damage to take him out.

@RuusMarev, Falmok is up again.

Oops, Arno took 2 Strain for a second Aim maneuver, that's why there were only 2 Setback dice.

He's now at 4 strain.

It takes a Called Shot Aim and a Setback for Cover, so you need to drop the last Boost and roll 3 Setback, or 2 Setback and take 2 Strain for a second Maneuver.

Currently sitting at 2s1a, pending Setback.

reroll: 3eP+1eB+1eD+3eS 2 failures, 4 advantage

<_< Falmok's luck finally ran out...

What do you want for the Advantage?

pass a boost and recover as many strain as he can :D

Okay, 3 Strain recovered. Kara is up again, just going to head straight for the location?

@RuusMarev, we're back to Vhal now. Would you like to play this out, or have the vehicle just surrender so we don't drag out this scene too long? If the latter, I'll give you some points to hit in your narration.

We can probably have him surrender to the Scary Mandos :D

Okay, you can go ahead and narrate that down, whether it involves interference from Kara or whatever. I forgot the points I wanted you to hit, so go ahead and do it how you want.

@RuusMarev, you're up IC. ^

falmok will open the door to check on Kymber

She's alive, unconscious, and mostly uninjured aside from her lip.

@RuusMarev, so what's your plan from here? Anything more you want from the gunman, or just take Kymber somewhere until she wakes up? (or you can make an Easy Medicine check to wake her up)

Cade is just making sure who they might be dealing with. (especially if they could be trouble down the line.)

Falmok waking Kymber (Medicine): 2eA+1eP+1eD 2 successes, 1 advantage

You wake her up.

I'm guessing the gunmen are after the credits as well? ( unless there is something else?)

Yes, they are after the credits.

@RuusMarev, @Tramp Graphics, how do you want the rest of this session to go? I've got more planned, but I could also cut it much shorter and end it soon. I have some thoughts on this, so I'll put them in a spoiler box below. If you want to get my thoughts before you answer you can read it, but I don't want to taint the jury. It's entirely up to you.

This session has happened at a rough time in my life, and overall (given the ups and downs) I don't think I've handled it especially well. We've talked about something of a reset, downtime to bring in a new player, get some stuff set up, purchase gear, etc. and that would be after this session. That would also allow me to refresh my GMing frame of mind and hopefully go along more smoothly. I'd like to shorten this session so we can get there sooner, but I will subordinate my wishes to yours in this situation.

I'm ok with cutting it a bit short..(Maybe condensed?) I hate to say that, but between PC's being turned into NPC's due to peoples lives taking priority...(there are essentially more characters than players, and the GM is pulling double duty of semi controlling..four npc's?)

And the fact that these were my first characters and I'm thinking they might be in need of a refresh/restart and a reassessment of gear loadout. :D

Hopefully we can continue when things are ready :D

Yeah, I'm just talking condensed. Basically having Kymber give you more direct information and not having a long chase sequence and dramatic fight, then an uneventful journey to drop off the family of the deceased banker (assuming you go through with it).

Assuming @Tramp Graphics is in agreement, we'll just carry on from here.

Works for me.
