Well I meant to choose between Vigilance and Cool. Initiative checks (unless the character has a specific talent or ability) are always Cool or Vigilance. Generally Vigilance if you are surprised and Cool if you are ready for it. Cool is typically when you are ambushing or something along those lines.

Just make a standard Melee check and hope for a hot roll. Already Engaged, so no Maneuvers there.

Hard, upgraded twice, with 3 Setback.

Take a strain with the Threat.

He parries, but you press through his defenses and cut him. It isn't that deep or serious though. Just enough to make him mad.

@Tramp Graphics, it'll be same difficulty as Cade's.

This is an odd three faction fight, but for a DP I'll let you take the Upgrade and Boost from the Magnaguard. This is in addition to any DPs you can spend on the check. I meant to offer this to Cade as well, but forgot.
