Okay, Cade takes 9 damage from the grenade's Blast, one Strain from the Threat, and Gorka's wound is now much bigger and messier. He's still up though.

Yes, Gorka is still up. To maintain narrative flow, I'm going to go ahead and do his turn now since it doesn't affect the others who have yet to go.

Cade is out of Maneuvers, but I'll allow you to disengage.

As a suggestion, perhaps the character can't disengage next turn?

The woman grabbed the gun from your holster with the success on the opposed Brawl check. Because of that circumstance, I figured the two of you are a bit tangled up, hence the advantage to prevent disengaging.

So with no disengage, what would the check be to wrestle the gun back?

Opposed Brawl, but only as long as you stay engaged. Once separation has been gained, you'd need 3 Advantage,

I messed up and didn't appraise you of that arrangement, so if you'd like to make the opposed Brawl check now, you may do that instead of the earlier check.

Nevermind, check difficulty is the same.

Here's a summary that should be the bottom line:

Results of the check: The opponent cannot disengage next turn

Ongoing: As long as the character has failed to gain separation, you can spend 2 Advantage to prevent them from disengaging. While you two are still engaged, success on an opposed Brawl check gets you the advantage, but they can do the same thing back to you.
3 Advantage can be spent to disarm the opponent as per usual both before and after separation has been gained.

Opponent: Gained Advantage, Blaster Contested. Gains Blaster if disengages with advantage. Disengage was Prevented.

Maya: Opposed Brawl Check -

2 Advantage: Gains the advantage. Blaster Contested. Gains blaster if disengaged with advantage

3 Advantage: Gains Blaster regardless of advantage. Disengage still required.

Other result: Nothing happens.

What you put down for 3 Advantage is the result of a successful check.

Oh okay, so just getting a success would be sufficient. But the 3 advantage would disarm even with a failure.

Either way, before I make the check, could I use a maneuver to try and force a fear check with like... coercion? So they potential get a setback on their checks/boost to mine?

I made a comment earlier about making the check again due to an error on my part, but the difficulty would actually be the same, so I retracted that.

However, I will allow you to make the social check. go ahead and post your intimidation attempt IC as part of narrating your turn. Based on your approach, I'll adjust the difficulty.

@ShockHelix, please make an Average Coercion check with a Boost and a Setback.
