I'm going to have to put my foot down, at least for a while, on ship size for the main party ship. Having Liberator as a mobile base is fine, but a capital ship (sil 5+) isn't something I want to run on a regular basis and it has some narrative difficulties as well as mechanical that makes a sil 4 ship easier for these sorts of stories.
Not all Sil 5 ships are capital scale. The VCX-100, YZ-775, and YZ-900 are all Sil 5 but less than 55 meters long.

The VCX-100 is a Light freighter less than 50 meter long, but three decks high. The YZ-775 and YZ-900 are Medium Transports. The 775 is just over 52 meters while the 900 is 54.3 meters. Both have two decks.

It detonates upon contact with the shield. It looks pretty cool, it just doesn't do anything.
