If you need to refer to Dar, you can call him "Jace" after his brother-in-law.

Uhhhh.

Should I make some kind of roll here?

That depends, how do you want to approach this?

However, please go ahead and make an Average Cool check with a Setback. This would help gauge your reaction and can affect future rolls.

Cool: 3eA 1 success, 4 advantage

Whoops, **** phone.

Accidentally rolled, need difficulty: 2eD+1eS 1 failure, 3 threat
d-f-th.pngd-th.pngs-th.png

0 success, 1 advantage.

I guess what I’m thinking is more in like a “Sense Motive” or “Insight” roll, something like that.

Setback to your next check. Advantage means it doesn't last any longer.

Okay, roll a Simple Cool check (secret difficulty).

Secret Cool: 3eA 1 success, 2 advantage

He is completely unreadable to you. He is very confident and is looking you straight in the eyes.

Hmmm. I would like to make two checks here. One would be another to see if there’s any bluff to him contacting Gorka.

The second. . . As a criminal overlord, I don’t believe Gorka would have the slightest idea of every person that works for him, so I’m actually entertaining the idea of contacting him here. If he has a large enough organization to contend with the Black Sun, he’s got way too many employees to know every second/third in command of his different operations by name.

You know what? I think I’m just playing this game wrong. I think I’m treating it as an Edge of the Empire game, when I should be treating it as a Mandalorian game.

I would like to make a Knowledge: Underworld check to estimate what’s going to happen when we kill Gorka. More specifically, I want to know how easy it would be for someone else to take over his operations once he’s dead.

O_O Errm...

Okay, go ahead and make an Average Knowledge (Underworld) check, but take 2 Setback because of your relative lack of knowledge about the situation here.

Knowledge: 1eP+4eA+2eD+2eS 1 failure, 3 advantage
p-s.pnga-a-a.pnga-a.pnga-s.pnga-a.pngd-f-th.pngd-f.pngs--.pngs-f.png

sigh

You aren't sure. From what little information you got from Cade and Kara, you know that the situation is pretty tense. You also can't gauge how Jabba might react to the death of Gorka.

Cade was in a situation like this with the Pykes, lol

Alright, Valek. I never was a very good liar anyway. There is a bounty on Gorka’s head. He’ll be dead within the month. He knows this. Currently, he is hiring more mercenaries to try and stop it. They won’t save him. Nothing will. If you’re as smart as you claim, you know it as well. So here is the deal I offer. You may consider the credits in Gorka’s account as a payment for our services. Instead of continuing to dismantle all of his assets, our organization will instead assist you in acquiring them. As a trusted representative of Jabba, I expect he will be glad to hear you’ve managed to salvage some of Gorka’s holdings. You hardly seem content with your position, and you’ve demonstrated you have the wits for much more. Do we have a deal?

yep, thats pretty much how it went with Cade... :D

@ShockHelix, to confirm I'm reading this right, you're saying "Give us the money in the account (all 300k), and we'll hand his organization over to you." Correct?

Please make a Negotiation check against 3eC+1eD, but with 3 Boost. You're hitting all the right buttons.

How much do you plan on actually doing to help him? Are you just going to skip out, or are you actually going to follow through? (I need to know for planning purposes)

I haven't gotten that far myself.

Negotiation: 1eP+2eA+4eB+2eC+2eD 1 success
p-s-s.pnga-s.pnga-s-a.pngb-s.pngb--.pngb--.pngb-s.pngc-f-f.pngc-f-f.pngd-f.pngd-th.png

Strain for the downgrade, boost from savvy, and I cannot believe I actually succeeded there.

After giving it a little more thought, I'll say Maya more or less would intend to follow through on that, but would ultimately need to ask everyone else how they'd feel about it.

C&K will probably go along with it, he would probably fill the vacuum anyway...(we should invest in a recording device..just incase )

That being said...If he tries a double cross, Cade will enlighten him, show him the error of his ways...

So Cade, Kara and Ge'tal are pretty much dropping the nice guy act and going straight to Bounty Collector mode?

If you're ready for that, sure. Unless you'd rather try to weasel your way into his good graces so that you can bring more weapons.

@ShockHelix, are you going to respond to Darien IC? If not, then @RuusMarev, I'll narrate you to the meeting with Gorka if you're ready for that.

Just wanted to be on the same page, thats all.. :D

(between a pistol, two bes'kad.. and any explosive they don't notice.. depending on how big the entourage is, it might be possible to just assassinate Gorka.. hopefully not spoiling it by posting this within eyesight of our GM..)

Don’t get yourselves killed trying to pull it off in the middle of things lol

Cade is full health and Strain... unlike the last boss battle he was in, where the GM flipped a destiny point, and bent the rules, just to see the fight play out. :D
