To get to the nearest group still takes 2 Maneuvers, one to get into Short range and one to Engage. You could stop at the opening (2 cover) and fire with your Blaster Pistol (Easy), or you could just hope to gain enough advantage to recover some Strain.

This is a little unusual, but thematically appropriate. With the 4 Advantage they'll upgrade the difficulty of Ge'tal's next check. Despair results in one hit of Base damage, 3 Threat results in one hit with half base damage. Similar to the action to screen for fighters.
