Going based on what you said earlier, Cade, Kara, and Falmok each get 500 credits. If you are done with Taskar, do you want to go shopping now?
Kandosii Beroya'se OOC
sure
(probably should sell the YV as well. Unless our next stop would be a better location..? )
Selling it here would probably net you more, being as it is a smugglers hub, but if you sell it on Vorpa'ya, maybe Darien could burn some Obligation.
You should probably sell it here if you just want to make the most money on it.
ugh.. now I'm conflicted.. credits or helping out a PC.... shrug, I'll help out Darien. Theres always the next captured ship
You would still make money, just not as much. Owning a freighter would help the clan given how much exporting they do. Cuts down on overhead.
is he selling to his clan?
Yes. That's the idea.
That brings your total costs on this trip up to 4,000 for refueling and docking. The Aurore and the C-ROC have enough fuel to make it to Vorpa'ya, and Solus has barely enough. She'll be running on fumes to get there.
running on fumes after fueling up here?
Mesh'la Solus would arrive at Vorpa'ya running on fumes. However, Advantage on the Astrogation check could reduce it such that there would be a decent amount in the tank.
With a class 2 hyperdrive and 50 fuel cells, Solus has a range of 100 hours from start to finish, but it takes about 1 cell to get to the jump point and about 1 cell to make it from the jump point to the planet, and since the trip is 96 hours of hyperspace, that results in 50 cells to get from Abregado-rae to Vorpa'ya.
The C-ROC has a class 3 hyperdirve, so it will be lagging behind unless you slow down the other ships (which takes more fuel).
Actually, the check is Easy with a Boost, which I'll roll here:
forgot a die
:
1eB
1 success
Well that didn't add a lot. For ease, I'll say you save a couple cells with the Success.
Do you want to go shopping?
yes. Jetpacks for a start.
Okay, that'll be a Hard Negotiation check. Which variant are you looking for? Armed, unarmed, or can be modified to be armed?
.........
...yes. Armed is preferable. ( but modifiable could also be acceptable I think..)
Okay, same difficulty, but armed is 500 credits more expensive, coming in at 5,250.
Nice!!
You find exactly what you need (and you can't complain about the dice any more
). 5,250 each for Jetpacks with missiles. I'll give you the stats for the missile in just a sec.
Ranged (Heavy); Damage 15; Critical 3; Range (Long); Blast 10, Breach 1, Inaccurate 1, Limited Ammo 1, Prepare 1.
Are you looking for a Z-6 or a JT-12? If the latter, it costs 4,750 and comes unarmed, but it can fairly easily be armed. Falmok will go for the JT-12.
Z-6: Speed 2, Handling 0, SST 3.
JT-12: Speed 2, Handling 0, SST 4.
The JT-12 has an Encumbrance of 2, the Z-6 has an Encumbrance of 3.
Cade and Kara will go with one of each, I think...
(whats involved with the arming of the JT-12?)
A check to find the missiles, and 500 credits to modify the Jetpack. In my head-canon at least, the JT-12 is built as a fairly modular design, easily modified and possibly with mounting missiles in mind.
If you want to arm them now, that would be an Average check since you already found the Jetpacks.
Average check on Negotiation?
Yes.
Jango's JT-12 had a missile, but the stats for the JT-12C in CotR don't list it as having the missile, so I'm splitting the difference in that regard.
